Red Bird Granite & Marble

Huge waste of time. I called him 5 times over a two month period to get this project going. I needed a rectangular piece of granite for an island. He would tell me that he was going to move forward on next steps, but never did anything. He would say that he was contacting suppliers and would call me back, and he never did anything. He had my project on hold for two months until I finally figured out that he was jerking me around the entire time.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!! In buying a new home was looking to get the kitchen redone. After much comparing, RedBird was the company that we picked. In talking to Brock Phillips (Salesman) he quoted me a price of $2350. Once we met Brock at the wholesale shop to pick out the piece the price changed to $2650. Should of been the first red flag. Wrote out a check for the full amount, $2650 and Installation was set up for the following Monday. Brock, said he would be in contact over the weekend to inform of exact time. After receiving no calls Thurs, Friday, Saturday we tried to contact Brock no less than 40 times with no response. Mind you he picked up every time before he made the sale and had the money. Monday morning arrived and just assumed they would arrive at some point. Was able to look up another # on the internet and was able to catch up to him. He gave me a story of him having to go out of town and didn't have phone on him. Very costly day as I hired a contractor to finish backsplash and hook up sink. Brock appologized and said they will be there the following day to install. Tuesday came and went with no show. Had to take off day of work. Finally got ahold of and said the granite had not arrived to their location. I called the supplier and said they had it since last week. Once again I believed his word and said he would be there Wednesday at 8am. I said, "are you sure as I am going out of town, but will delay my departure to 11am". Brock said, "I promise you we will be there at 8am". Guess what???? No show. Finally got a hold and the new excuse was their saw went down and couldn't do the edges. If installation was at 8am do you think they should of know that the day before? Installation was finally performed this past Friday as my wife informed me over the phone. One piece was cut short and had to be replaced. Once I arrived home late Sunday night I couldn't believe my eyes. Multiple fill holes, edges not cut right, chips in corners, and piece was cut to short. After many many attempts to contact Brock, I was able to get ahold of PePe, the owner. He seemed very understanding and said he would make it right. Monday came and went with another broken promise. Had contatactor there again to install backsplash, but couldn't because replacement piece not installed. Yesterday installers finally came back to replace piece that was to short and other areas that looked bad. Replacement piece was clearly from a different slab and looks completely different/horrible. The only was to correct this problem is to start from scratch. I've been trying to reach PePe for the past two days and goes straight to his voicemail than cuts off because voicemail is full. PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF OF MUCH AGGREVATION AND DISSAPOINTMENT. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!
