Very punctual. Informed me of work to be done, and was done.

great, we had a cpl problems and he provided great explanation and education as to why and how to prevent.

We called them up and they came out they gave us the rating to clean the chimney but they said they wont be able to use their chimney with that they said we ha to have network job done into the back of the chimney there is a cavity behind where the chimney was, that it wold not be safe for fire until these other stuff were done and the prices he wanted to do all those other was [42:52] and I think he got mad because I could not afford to do all of it at the same time I just wanted the chimney sweep done I have talked to him and I said well you know I rather just do the chimney sweep and if we had those other stuff done could have done later and I said it could be done at a separate time and he said yes it could be. that where it was and we call them because the place we were moving out of there is chimney problem there I called him up before he was suppose to be coming over here and I said I wanted him to look at this other he said well I can't talk to you right now I am forty feet up in the air working on someone's chimney I will call you back I have yet to get a call back I must have called him twenty times since then I don't know what the situation is but he very unresponsive doesn't keep his words he said he was going to call back.

Clay was EXCELLENT. He was relaxed, and VERY professional. He came a little early, educated me on why some issues disposal issues happen, and found a problem that he felt confident was from the previous client; a screw lodged into the side of the garbage disposal that we didn?t know about until he flushed it.

We had water damage in our living room on the ceiling and wall above our fireplace was told by our insurance adjuster than it was the flashing that caused the water problem. I found Clean Sweep on Angie's List. I called Clay and he came out to take a look at the chimney. He came by as scheduled while I was at work. He was unable to ascertain for certain that it was the chimney causing the problem. With fall approaching, he is very busy so we set up a follow-up for a Saturday morning so we could be present. He had to remove the cover on the chimney to further inspect. He took photos of where he believes the problem is for us to see. He did a temporary fix to see if it is truly the trouble spot before letting us spend money on a permanent fix. We are waiting until next big rain, if no further leaking occurs, we will spend the money to obtain the permanent fix, if not we will have to do further digging into the walls to find the cause. We appreciated his help and integrity in not selling us on an expensive repair that may or may not solve our problem. We would recommend him to friends. Good communication throughout entire transaction.

These guys are great! Their price is reasonable and they are prompt and courteous.

Had to reschedule a couple of times due to frozen precipitation, but they came out and completed the work on the soonest possible date. Work was completed fast and thorough. They took before and after pictures so I could see the quality of their work. I recommend Clean Sweep.

Everything went well. Clay and Eric worked efficiently and explained what they were doing. Clay pointed out some issues with the chimney, but he was not pushy to try to get the additional work. He gave me tips on what to look for related to these issues and answered all my questions in regards to how to resolve the problems. Thorough and clean.

Excellent job. For years we've been plagued by moisture problems inside the house adjacent to the areas where the chimneys are located. We've had many and quot;expertsand quot; give their opinions and try various solutions, but the problem remained. The Clean Sweep guys explained how the cavity between the chimney and the liner needs either insulating or ventilation to avoid the moisture caused by the large thermal difference occurring between the hot liner and the cool chimney. They used the much cheaper method of ventilating as a first step. Their explanation makes sense and their professional approach was very much appreciated.

They were very helpful from the first time I called, and were able to schedule me quickly. They were punctual and called to confirm the appointment. They performed a thorough inspection of our chimney, explained why we might be experiencing odors, and recommended a few different options for fixing the problem. They appeared very knowledgeable about different aspects of the chimney and fireplace. The also cleaned our chimney the same day they did the inspection.

Clay did an inspection of my chimney and provided me with a complete check list, and photos, of what he found. He gave me advice as to the repairs that I needed. We scheduled another appointment to have repairs done, they were on time, very pleasant and courteous. Would call them again when needed.

I emailed Clay for a quote on a chimney repair/ adding a chimney cap as well as a cleaning on a chimney at another property. Clay showed up as promised to perform the inspection for the quote, and took digital photos of the damage he found. He quoted a price on all the repairs that was fair. He made sure I understood all of the charges before starting any work. On the day of the repair appointment, Clay and another employee showed up on time and completed the extensive tuck-pointing repairs/installation of the new cap. He then performed the chimney cleaning at the other property. Clay and his employee took care to keep the house very clean during the process. There was no trace left by the sweeps after a very dirty job. We were very satisfied with the repairs, and the chimney cleaning. Both Clay and his employee were professional and courteous. I plan to use them again, and would recommend them to anyone needing services for their chimney.

I called to different companies for price quotes and Clean Sweep offered a fair price--not the highest and not the lowest. Clay Nelson (owner/operator) contacted me before our scheduled appointment time to see if it was ok for him to arrive 30 minutes. I appreciated the call and gladly welcomed the earlier visit. Overall, the experience was very positive. Mr Nelson was professional, experienced, and knowledgeable. He cleaned up after himself and everything was left in immacluate condition. I also liked the fact that he took before and after pictures of his work.
