Description of Work: Have used TCA on a bi-weekly schedule for the past 5 years. Main office and assigned cleaners have been very professional, timely, trusted and generally thorough. Any complaint or requests have been quickly resolved in a satisfactory manner. Glad we use them.

+ -1 moreIn theory, their business model is exactly the way I would clean my own house - to thoroughly clean one area of the home with each visit. Unfortunately, that isn't what happens as all areas get a superficial clean all the time. A different crew each time, arriving at different times of the day (although they were punctual regarding the day of the week) doesn't help either. We had one fantastic crew (2 young gals). I emailed the owner praising them and asking to have them regularly assigned to us, but I never had a reply and they never returned. Complaints to their call center get a returned phone call, but no different result in their service. They leave a report card after each clean telling what was "thoroughly" cleaned and what is scheduled for next time. Their price is in line with other cleaning services, so don't waste your money on this company.
Description of Work: Bi-weekly housecleaning an 1800 sq. ft home - 2 adults - no kids or pets.

+ -1 moreWELL, AFTER EXPLAINING AND ASKING IF THEY WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO COME IN LATER IN THE WEEK, I WAS GIVEN A $225 2-HR ESTIMATE (SEEMED REASONABLE), AND TOLD THEIR OWNER OR SOMEONE WOULD MAKE A FOLLOW-UP CALL. TWO DAYS PASSED, WE DID NOT HEAR FROM THEM. WE WERE DISAPPOINTED AND CONTACTED ANOTHER ANGIE'S LIST A GRADED CLEANING COMPANY (WILL REPORT ON THEM LATER)-- WHO QUICKLY SURMISED OUR CONCERNS, GAVE A PER HOUR ESTIMATE, AND AGREED TO COME IN FIRST THING SATURDAY MORNING. SO, I THINK CLEANING AUTHORITY WON'T BE OUR CHOICE, AT LEAST FOR NOW. I SHOULD HAVE READ THESE POSTS FIRST BEFORE CALLING, THEY CERTAINLY DO LACK RESPONSIVENESS.
Description of Work: BEFORE SUBSCRIBING TO ANGIE'S LIST, WE RECEIVED AN IMPRESSIVE BROCHURE AND HAD REQUESTED THEM FOR A QUOTE. THEY PROVIDED ONE AND WE KEPT SAYING, "GOOD IDEA", BUT DIDN'T ACT RIGHT AWAY. SEVERAL WEEKS LATER WE WERE IN A MESS, AS CEILING DRYWALL REPAIR, ELECTRICAL WORK, PAINTING, OUT OF TOWN TRIP, FAMILY EMERGENCY AND AN UPCOMING PARTY TO HOST ALL CAME TOGETHER AND KNEW WE NEEDED HELP. WE WERE OVERWHELMED AND CALLED THE CLEANING AUTHORITY FIRST. WE NEEDED A ONE-TIME, FIRST-TIME CLEANING TO CLEAN OUT THE DUST FROM THE REPAIRS AND GENERALLY CATCH-UP TO THE BATHROOMS AND OTHER TOUGH AREAS WE HAD NEGLECTED.

+ -1 moreI AM A CLEANING PERFECTIONIST AND SO AM A BIT PICKY. HOWEVER, WHEN A COMPANY CLAIMS THEY ARE SPENDING SPECIAL ATTENTION ON THE BATHROOM AND THERE IS STILL MOLD AND MILDEW ON THE SHOWER DOOR, I FEEL THEY HAVE NOT PERFORMED THEIR DUTIES. I HAVE A 2800 SQUARE FOOT HOME, AND FEEL THAT TWO HOURS WITH TWO WOMEN SHOULD RESULT IN A BETTER RESULT THAN WHAT I GOT.
Description of Work: OVERALL HOUSECLEANING, WITH ATTENTION PAID TO SPECIFIC AREAS BASED ON A ROTATIONAL BASIS.
