Really bad experience with this company. After a couple months, the driveway started cracking and disintegrating. The owner, Jim Dahlborn, after many excuses and back-pedaling, said he would replace the cracked sections of the driveway by the end of the following fall. When we called to see when he would be coming to do the work he said he was too busy and would have to do the work the following spring. We called him this spring. He came and looked at the driveway again and agreed that the condition was horrible and should not be happening. He said he would replace the driveway and asked us to get the permit from the village, which we did. 4 weeks later, he said he will not be doing the work, that the condition of the driveway was an "act of God" and that if we don't like it we can take him to court. I have owned houses for 20 years and have hired many people/companies to do work. I have never worked with a company/person with such a lack of integrity and ethics. We had a professional contractor look at the driveway. He said the cracks and disintegration of the driveway, in his opinion, were consistent with too much water in the concrete mixture, not an act of God.

The person who came did a perfect work. The price was reasonable. He had to excavate some concrete from the patio and level the ground in good shape. He finished the work in 24 hours. He was fast, neat and fair priced.

The project went excellent. Jim and his crew showed up when they promised and every day until the project was completed. This was a huge project but Jim finished it in 2 weeks. There was minimal mess considering he was bulldozing under my house.
