The team was very professional and worked very hard. They replaced 12 plywood sheets and installed new Owens Corning shingles. They were very clean, as I found no roofing nails on the ground after completion. They moved some vents around during the replacement to improve air flow. I'm happy with the workmanship and the roof looks very nice.

Results were better than I expected. Worked with Greg who layed out shingles on my roof to ensure I picked the right color shingle - he was very patient and helpful throughout. Greg also was regularly visiting throughout the day, actively supervising the crew. Luis led the 4 person crew and was good at explaining the work he was doing and talking through any questions I had. The entire crew worked hard and seemed experienced. Given the professionalism, quality of work, and cost paid vs other quotes I received, I would highly recommend them to all friends/neighbors.

Upon approval from the insurance company's claim adjuster, the company's job foreman, Shane, submitted the required information to the village for issue of the building permit. Upon receipt, they delivered materials and began the job within 2 days. The company then required 1/3 down payment upon delivery of the materials. (they were very careful of that process, and delivery of the weight, so not to damage the driveway.) The existing roof was removed the first day, but then the roof had to be covered because of rainstorms. Work resumed on a timely basis after the rains. There was some minor delay in waiting for delivery of the skylights. But when work began immediately on receiving them, while the crew was still finishing the remaining roofing. Some minor damage occurred installing the skylights to the interior drywall. This was corrected within a couple of days by a carpenter, with whom they contracted, who did an excellent job for them and for us. His work included some drywall repair, painting and trim installation. The above 'B' rating on punctuality was because of the man who did the chimney flashing. It was not completed until July 20. I'm not sure why he was working his own schedule and not that of the general crew for the job, a situation which should have been corrected. Therefore the job was not formally completed until July 20. The general installation crew had their own "foreman", who worked along side them. All seemed to work together, were in good spirits, and were efficient in their work. The job foreman, Shane, was a delight to work with, dependable, and very responsive to our questions with nearly immediate follow-up with answers and paperwork, even though he has been with the company only a few months. The only minor downside was I had to keep track of some of the details from the contract to be sure all were completed thoroughly, as cost factors changed, along with changes made in the job. Over all, I would hire them again, and highly recommend them. We are already members of Angie's List, which is where we read other evaluations of this company.

It was a very badly leaking roof of a Post Office. They took care of major repairs. Everything was excellent.

This is a great company to work with. Rob Marshall headed up my project, he did great making sure everything was coordinated wonderfully. This was not easy due to the amount of rain we were dealing with. I did not want the tear off done and days later the roof installed because of the rain that was happening almost everyday. Rob understood my concern and made things happen the way I wanted them to happen. The material was delivered and the next day the crew showed up to do the tear off. The guys were great they did a wonderful job making sure everything that needed to be covered to protect it (windows, plants even my hose) was while doing the tear off. They were polite and professional they worked hard and fast got the job done cleaned it up and were gone. I was amazed. The next morning the Installers were here they worked fast and hard. My roof was not without challenges due to the peaks and pitch. Jay made sure they overcame them and did an excellent job. He made sure we were happy with our new roof. They were very friendly to talk to and extremely knowledgeable about Steel Roofing. I would absolutely recommend them. They cleaned up. The job was completed in the amount of time they said it would be. Also we thought we had 3 layers of shingles on our roof. The quote originally given was for 3 layers of shingles to be removed. It turned out that we only had 2 layers so our final cost was less. This by itself is unheard of they are an honest company that you can trust. They didn't have to point this out they could have still charged me the original price that was quoted and I never would have known, but they were honest and that says a lot to me! This is a great company!

Rob never kept the appointment and would not answer calls from myself or the adjuster.

Overall, very good experience. I primarily worked w/ Rob Marshall. He was very responsive, was GREAT with communicating the process and when the crew would come out to the work, and responded quickly to any followup questions / concerns. I did and will continue to recommend CRC.

I chose to get a quote from them because of their ratings. Their pricing was reasonable.

They also noticed there was a water flow problem on our gable roof that covers our front steps and corrected it. They put in a much deeper snow and ice shield. They noticed the gutter was crooked and fixed it and a few leaks. During the process, if we had questions, he was very nice and would address any concerns we had. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up and they were very pleasant people to deal with.

These guys are great. Rob Z was very responsive. The crew was excellent, professional and courteous. They cleaned up each day. They did an incredible job and I'd highly recommend them.

Rob was the general contractor. He quoted the roof and gutters separately which included a generous 10% angies list discount for each quote. He patiently explained what they would do and how it would work. The total below was for both jobs after the discount. Roof was 4640 less 10% for a total of 4176. The gutters were 6 inch oversized gutters due to the steep pitch of the roof and were 1812 less 10% for a total of 1631 See the photos below. The first one with the rust colored roof and mushroom vents is the before pic. The rest are after. Crews were on time and worked fast. They did a great job keeping the area free of debris and cleaning up after themselves. No plants were harmed either. Rob and his staff were terrific.

We had a leak in our roof during the last bad rain storm and Custom immediately came out to put a temporary patch on and covered that section of the roof with a tarp. They worked great and timely with our insurance adjuster and came back shortly thereafter to install a new roof. They were extremely responsive, very professional (all of their people) and delivered on the products and services at a fair price. I wish all contractors were as trustworthy and reputable as these folks.

Custom Roofing rep, Rob, was very good at keeping me informed about when materials would arrive, where they should go, and when work would start. The project went well and the guys did a pretty good job of cleaning up. There were still some nails, shingles, and roofing paper that I cleaned up in the yard and bushes. But it was minor stuff.

Some of their special touch's included: sealing up mortar cracks in our chimney, painting all exhaust vents to match the color of the shingles, protecting the driveway form the dumpster with plywood as it was being delivered. In addition they also we very accommodating in taking care of some other items such as removing an old antenna and the removal of a old storage shed that was falling apart. All in all they did a very good job and I'm quite pleased with the work. I would recommend to anyone considering new roof.

We contacted several roofers. The prices were all about the same, and since Custom was the first and nearest to us, we went with them.

Rob Marshall was our field/sales manager. He did an excellent job always taking my calls (almost never even had to leave a message). He was good to his word and was very pro-active in communicating any change in plans due to weather, etc. He was always patient with us through our special concerns and requests. His team was very experienced and professional and got the job done in one day, taking good care of our driveway, landscaping and building the whole time. I enthusiastically recommend Custom Roofing and Contracting.

Ken worked with my architect to explore several potential solutions to improve roof drainage issues and winter ice build-up problems. Ken helped to find the most cost effective solution and was very generous with his time leading up to quoting on the job. Once work was started, the crews were very efficient and various other trades were well coordinated. The crews very very respectful of our property including protecting landscaping. The crews cleaned-up on a daily basis. Work was completed on time. Finished product looks great and has performed well over the past few months including during some heavy rains. I strongly recommend Ken and his company.

Custom Roofing is superior above all other roofing companies I have seen in my neighborhood. The crew arrived early - total of 8 men. Tarps were placed on my driveway, lawn and landscaping. Boards were placed to protect my windows. Everyone was extremely polite, friendly and hardworking. Clean up was impeccable - no debris left - no nails on the lawn or driveway. They finished in a timely fashion. I was happy to provide lunch and beverages for them. We are so happy with the outcome and the overall look of the roof. Do not be fooled by "storm chasers" - as you will not get the same attention to detail as you get with Custom Roofing. All of my questions were answered and we felt that we were in good hands with a reputable company. A+
