The process when very well. He went through the house and explained everything to me, what I need to request reports for, what I should do myself. He was friendly and a pleasure to be around. I would definitely use him again and I plan to contact him for reference to services that I need.

The inspection was done beyond our satisfaction. My husband learned more about our home beyond then information about the siding. Pete was very detailed about each recommendation he suggested. We received a detailed report of his inspection along with pictures of where corrections should be made. Pete is extremely professional and EXTREMELY thorough in his inspection - two traits a potential home buyer like myself truly appreciate! He videotapes the entire inspection with all of his notations on things he sees as potential problems and sends you a copy to view, which is a great tool in understanding the home through impartial eyes. Pete found some potentially serious problems with two homes we were considering, his assessment of the homes opened our eyes and truly prevented buyers remorse! Came early for appointment, spent a lot of time in each area checking every detail throughout. Allowed us to tag along explaining everything he saw. We have had several questions after apps and he is very open to answering all questions. Explains things thoroughly and seems to be very honest

I was very pleased at the thoroughness and professionalism of everyone I dealt with at Buss inspections. Lisa made the appt and explained the process so I would know what to expect. Paul actually did the inspection and was very thorough. He was methodical in his approach and explained to us how to determine age of mechanicals, ie: furnance, air conditioning unit, water heater and expected life cycle, so one could plan for future replacement expense. He also explained how to maintain these items. He took several pictures and made a narrated movie which they archive so it can be referred to for future reference. The inspection itself was $400, typical of the area. The radon inspection is subcontracted to another vendor and was an additional $200. Lisa called me the day the report was ready and I assumed she was calling to ensure I received the report. But she was calling to advise me although the radon passed, it was on the upper range of acceptable threshold and could easily test higher at a future date. They recommended we remediate radon, as the cost/benefit is favorable. Some issues came up in negotiations due to a difficult seller and I called Pete the owner, for his expertise and he was very helpful. He also explained that Federal Pacific electrical panels had numerous issues and recommended I Google it. After I saw the abundant info on these panels, I insisted the seller either replace or give us monetary credit to replace ourselves. My realtor, who was present at inspection, and sees lots of inspectors was also impressed. We both felt we would definitely recommended this business and would use them again if we had to do it all over.

Everything went very well. Pete came out and gave us a really good report. Thanks to him we could get $2000 credit for repairing the chimney. Also he told us many tips to maintain the house during inspection. It was really informative, we got the report next day by e-mail. The report was nicely done with a lot of photos.

Since I do not yet live in the area where I am purchasing a home, I really needed someone who would prepare a comprehensive report. Peter did an incredibly thorough job of inspecting the home and arrived at the site early. Not only was there a detailed report with photographs, there was a summary report and videos of all areas of the home, inside and out, from up on the roof as well as inside storage areas. He was able to schedule it quickly, which is helpful when you've got contract deadlines. I had an emailed copy of the written reports that night and a link to the videos on his website. Less than a week later the formal package arrived in the mail with a CD that includes the videos and almost 100 photographs. There was also a "Home Maintenance" set of documents (generic - not specifically for this house) as well as a "Child Safety" document, since this house has older railings. I am incredibly impressed!

Pete was very responsive on the phone and answered all our questions cheerfully and completely. The inspection itself was done thoroughly and professionally with Pete explaining things as he went along. The report was available over the internet with video documentation on all issues found. The report included photographic evidence.

Overall, the condo was in tough shape. It was a complete gut rehab and the project manager had fallen behind schedule. Jim showed up early for the inspection and was ready to go despite the unfinished condition of the property. He went right to work and left no stone unturned. He took digital photos and a video of the entire condo. He caught many safety issues that would have been very costly to repair on our own. He even took the time to give me tips on HVAC maintenance and plumbing. Our closing was scheduled right after the inspection and Jim understood our need to bring the inspection documentation to the closing. He immediately went to his car and began the report. In about 30 minutes he had burned all the photos onto a CD. This was well beyond the call of duty! To make things even better the final bill was less than the original quote. Unbelievable! Great guys and quality work!

Excellent. Very prompt, reliable, and detail oriented. Took his time and we really felt like he cared. We received a detail 30+ page report, cd-rom of report, and d.v.d with a virtual tour of our new house. We even recommended him to our buyers!!
