+ -1 moreVictor & Juan are the brothers that own Garcia Construction and they are wonderful to work with. We used their services for pouring a sidewalk along the side of our home. They were very professional and completed the job efficiently with a beautiful result. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate using them for future home improvement projects.

Description of Work: Rafael Garcia is dishonest. He kept increasing the cost of the work unfairly. Last day he put in the bricks for driveway apron wings, asked for exorbitant money immediately. When I reasoned him, he removed the bricks he put in and took them away. I had to do the remainder work myself.

+ -1 moreWe had a wonderful experience and are enjoying our new patio. We were preparing for our daughter's wedding and Mr Garcia went above what he had to do to have it completed in time. (after we got the permit, not a lot of time was left) He build the patio shape we wanted perfectly, He and his team were neat and used a wheelbarrow to move out the old concrete and move in the new brickwork with no damage to the lawn. We had professional service, timely completion at a very fair price and are now enjoying the patio we had invisioned!
Description of Work: Removed old concrete patio and replaced it with a larger brick patio and decorative walls.

+ -1 moreAfter calling two other "highly rated" contractors in the area without a single call back, I called Garcia's. Rafael called me right back and made an appointment to get me a quote. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating to my requests. I was impressed, and his quote was in line with another I had received last year, so we signed a contract to get the ball rolling.Once the permit process and approval was done, Rafael was responsive, set times, and delivered on his promises. During the process, we changed the shape of the patio slightly, and he and his staff were polite and accommodating the entire time. The patio looks great. We did a broom-swept finish with California-style edges, and we love it.I would recommend Garcia's, and will use them again.

+ -1 moreWe built the deck ourselves after consultation with a structural engineer because we wanted something unique. As with all renovation projects, we ran into unexpected things when we dug. Rafael worked with us collaboratively and creatively.
Description of Work: Removed existing concrete patio, poured 18 concrete footings to support steel deck supports, then poured new 2,000 sq. ft. concrete patio outlined in Brussels Block stone and 3 ft. concrete wall (for face covering with granite). We were so pleased with his concrete work that we then hired him to build a Brussels Block stairway from the new patio to the new deck.
