Company was on time and the repair was done promptly

tech came within the next day. Was kept apprised of possible delays for the tech but he arrived within the original time frame given. A new fan was ordered and will be replaced next week. One week beginning to end. Very courteous and fast Customer Service.

They were able to send out a tech to repair our AC pretty quickly (within a few days), even though this was during a bout of unusually high temperatures. The tech arrived towards the end of the given arrival window; even though he was still within the window, they called me that day to let me know he would be later rather than earlier, which was nice. The tech diagnosed the issue, and discussed options with me and fixed it (low line refrigerant, possible leak). All that was great, and prices seemed reasonable. The only negative part of the experience is that there was an extra charge to de-ice the frozen interior coils. I could have done that in advance if I knew I was supposed to (the tech seemed surprised I hadn't, or that I wasn't told to). Maybe that's obvious to others, but it's not that big of a deal, just an an annoying extra cost.

Jon Predny was the service technician, and he was more than perfect. His level of customer care must be taken as a great asset to your organization.

Company kept upselling me to similar humidifier I had previously installed. Had issues with that type of humidifier and did not want same model. I wanted the manual humidifier offered in deal, but they said there would be additional sheet metal work. Wanted to get refund, but Angies List indicated that I could apply the offer to another service with the same company. Really... Gave up and never redeemed the offer. Lesson learned. Issue happened long time ago. More cautious now on the purchase of special deals.

He was very thorough and even discovered that the HVAC contractor on our new home installed 2 furnaces: a current year model as well as a prior year model that was more prone to breakdowns. Went well. Techs explained procedure and answered all questions.

My husband carefully spelled out his name and our address over the phone, but the office still got both wrong. But besides that, the service tech arrived early after calling us in advance (much appreciated), found that the drain trap was plugged which prevented the unit from moving into the second stage of the heating process, and he cleared it. We're confident that the problem was fixed, and we're pleased with the work he had done. Jim was personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. But for the 20 minutes he was here, and the limited scope of the work that we could see that he had done, we feel that the charge for our drain line flush of $288 was pretty high. We didn't get quotes from other HVAC companies, and we trusted AWE based on Angie's List's reviews, but on reflection, it seems pricey to us. We will nevertheless call them for annual servicing because they are reliable.

I sent them a message here and 10 days later they haven't responded. I've seen some companies say to only call them and not send messages. If you're not going to respond to messages, don't list yourself on a site with a built in messaging system.

The plumber came out and fixed the pipes above the water heater. Since the pipe was the hot water, the water heater needed to be drained. I explained that if the water heater is drained it could start leaking and to be aware of that. Well, the pipe was fixed, but the next day the water heater started to leak. I called up the company the next day and explained that the water heater was leaking i gave it a few days to see if it would stop leaking, but it continued to leak. They came back out stating that the plumbing had nothing to do with the water heater leaking, but I stated due to the draining of the water heater it began leaking (It had not leaked before the repair), they charged me another 190.00 to fix the water heater draining even though it was due to their actions, so instead of a 327.00 pipe repair, it is now a 517.00 pipe repair!!!!

AWE was a DELIGHT! Their team on the phone and in person! We called at 8:15 AM on December 26th, got an immediate answer and one of their expert team was onsite and done by 10 AM. They were professional, punctual, and a delight to work with.

Incredible- walked me through everything, showed me my filters as this was a new home and a different system than I had prior.

The best thing about this company was the communication via text and email. We also liked that they gave us a two hour window of time for the appointment rather than a four hour window. On the downside the service appointment went too quickly. The technician took the vacuum down to the furnace, but according to the main office our furnace only needed to be wiped out. We have lived in our hime for 20 years, and I believe that every time we had a maintenace check and cleaning by other companies the technician vacuumed the furnace. Also the technician arrived in a van with a different company name than the one we had called for the appointment. When we called the office we were told that it was indeed their van: they also own that company. But they failed to tell us this in advance.
