The 2 employees who came to clean out my dryer vent were polite and personable. The helper did most of the work while the technician spoke to me as if I were a doddering, dopey old woman, who could not possibly understand their simple process. After they blew out the gunk, of course it landed all over my sidewalk and bushes. The technician picked up a bit of the lint and was ready to leave. Oh no! Let's clean up this mess. The helper and I did most of it. Then we had a go-around over the vent and the discoloration on the siding.

Would recommend hiring them - they are in the neighborhood which I like, and the inspector took the time to explain my chimney and how it worked and how it should be maintained, Louie was a joy to talk with.

Very nice, efficient workers. Explained everything that needed to be done clearly. Will use them again.

Good people, good service

I would highly recommend A1 safety chimney services. Anthony and Isaiah were the technicians. They were priced very reasonably, very professional and personable service. My chimney case cap did not need to be replaced as were noted by some other companies. They re galvanized the top of the chimney and gave me an 8 year warranty for a much lesser cost.

Top shelf contractor They identified the problem , quoted quickly and fairly and were back up on the roof to finish the job in minutes . They had all the parts , tools and supplies to complete the job on the 1st stop . They even unplugged my downspouts on the way up ! Thanks A 1

very professional and quick.

I wanted a repair estimate for some brick face chipping off near the chimney crown. I wasn't at home, but Anthony from A-1 provided my wife estimates for rebuilding ($9000) or sealing ($1900) the crown and some brick below it and then pressured my wife by saying things like "it will cost more if we have to come back out." Anthony and his colleague were at the house less than two hours and essentially just calked the crown with silicone and applied a little brick sealant. A generous estimate for the materials is less than $100. They coerced my wife into paying $1600 for it. Anthony took advantage of a vulnerable homeowner who didn't know any better just because he could. Their front office was okay with how unethical this was. You will see similarly experiences from others if you read reviews at some other sites. I wish I had.

Experience makes the difference. I ve had others out with little or no results. They easily identified the problem and fixed it immediately.

One pro tried to sell us a scare story but the professionals from A-1 explained what was really going on. They had to do some repairs but nowhere near as expensive as what the other guy tried to push. I trust A-1.

I'm quite sure they did a great job. The technicians showed respect and they knew what they were doing. The price was very, very high. I needed the job done quickly and I hired them. Again the price was too high.

A-1 Safety Chimney Service completed an adequate chimney cleaning service. Their recommendation for repair did not meet the fireplace manufacturer specifications and was not required. I consulted an authorized dealer of the fireplace and owners manual for the correct information.

They explained everything and answered all my questions. Friendly and knowledgeable.

They cleaned out our vent, repaired the chimney, replaced a cap, sealed and corrected cracks. They took Discover card, and were very reasonably priced, actually lower when compared to other contractors. Very good communication with timing. Two people arrived for the work. Very happy with their work and we will continue using their service.
