They came, they did a full set of inspections, made some recommendations for future maintenance, and cleaned out the chimney good for another year. Super friendly super knowledgeable super professional. Very happy with the service.

Derrek and partner called 1/2 hour before arrival & arrived on time. Brushed out the line and replaced the wrong type of tape I had installed, and recommended a rodent guard. They put everything back and were finished in less than one hour.

They were prompt and clean. We had a number of guests in the house at the time and they were courteous and polite to all. Great job!

Did excellent work. Also installed basket cover on outside dryer vent. all went well. Derrick and John worked fast and thorough. Cleaned up lots of lint. Would request them next time. No complaints. Called ahead of time as promised. Took photos of everything they worked on.

Chimney working correctly so nothing was accomplished in regards to the downdraft. I did have the firebox repainted and the outer brick sealed.

Wonderful! I loved the team; they were quick but thorough. The whole process was kept clean and efficient. I am a new home owner and asked them to run a check on a gas fireplace that I had concerns about. They did a thorough check and checked all the connections. They gave it a lovely reboot with new stones at the bottom and sealed the back with a safety paint. All in all a great experience. I will absolutely have them back next winter! Kate

Went well. Had to pay more than expected due to the amount of soot build-up, as the previous homeowner never have the chimney cleaned. Chimney works well and looks great. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with the work of Derrek H. and the A-1 crew. He was prompt, professional, and took the time to carefully explain the problem and the possible options that would address our situation. A-1 was also careful to ensure that the project was completed in a timely manner without fear of any ash or dirt from the fireplace being left in the area. Most importantly, we were very comfortable with the service being completed as needed and at a reasonable cost. We will continue to utilize A-1 in the future based on Derrek's thoroughness and professionalism.

I originally called for the mechanical sweep since I was told by another company my chimney is due for it. Anthony and his guy came over and told me I actually don’t relay need it and a regular sweep will do the job. This is what I call-honesty. The overall service was great and the two guys were extremely pleasant and professional! They did a great job and sure enough I’m going to request their service in my next sweep.

The individual for the company was very thorough, explained some options for me to increase energy efficiency (without any pressure to do so), and was overall very friendly and easy to work with. Had a little trouble getting them to contact me, but it worked out overall.

Came in on-time and kept the house clean. Very curtious.

Will and his partner did a very good job. Will came a year before and did significant work on the roof chimney which was 18 years old. The work held up and nothing additional was needed this year except to sweep the chimney from the inside of the house.

A-1 came out, and explained why it wasn’t working. It is an older unit, but were supposed to got an estimate on parts, And were told they would give one for replacement. We did not hear from them, so 2 weeks later my husband called. The person in the office said all that was there was a very general estimate for a new unit, but the was no detail about the type of unit or anything. I know they do not advertise fireplace replacement, but their price was also $2000 higher than a place that does just that

Great- inspected the problem, planned how to fix and immediately went to work. Done wishing 90 mins and expanded to cleaning our fireplace and installing a heat guard. Also explained future projects that could be done if there are more issues.

I am not familiar of the damage but we are getting water from the flu around the exhaust of the furnace. They came on time and very professional. They explained the cause of water which he believes is the condensation from the exhaust as the opening is too big and the flu was only 4 inches.

Office staff was great. Everyone arrived on time (though at the end of their window, but that happens). Super polite and clean. The estimate they gave me for additional work looks a little expensive (but could be normal for the industry), but overall a good experience.
