Oscar was great. Prompt, took his time to look over things, took pictures, caulked areas.

They found a couple of problems with the flashing and siding. They cleaned my gutters and a few other small things. it went very well. We ran into weather problems but we were able to reschedule with out issues. They were punctual, they did what they were supposed to do. Oscar did a great job and is a very hard worker. I will use them again on my garage and future roofing needs.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys. We had a terrible roof leak over our baby's room and they came out with a crew on New Years Eve in the bitter cold and fixed it. When I was concerned it was still leaking they came back out almost immediately (it wasn't, already leaked water had frozen under the roof and melted, causing a drip.) They also discovered and fixed cracks in broken bricks that were causing a leak over a window. Arturo and Oscar and the whole crew are super responsive, professional and just really nice people. I felt completely comfortable meeting with them while alone with my two kids. Absolutely top notch service and professionalism, will recommend them to everyone. I also felt their prices were fair. (I got multiple estimates.)

Booked shingle and flashing and soffit repairs in November, paid mid December,

It rained pretty hard during the summer, and I wanted roof inspection done. The service man came and did the inspection, but would not share the info with the tenants. So I called like a week later asking for detail, and could not speak to the service man. I called & wrote email asking for inspection result in email or voicemail subsequently a few times, however, they never came back with neither. This company lacks professionalism, and I would NOT use this company again.

They submitted the status report as expected.

Because Angie's List has poor geographic targeting of their promotions, I bought the promotion and was told by the vendor I was our of their service area. If Angie's List is going to send me an email promotion, I would think they would better vet that I could actually use it. This is a direct result of poor ad targeting and made me spend a hour or so getting my money back.

I scheduled the Angie's List Deal on Jan. 4 confirmed for today, Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. When 10:30 a.m. came and went, I gave them a call and they seemed to not have realized I had an appointment. He said that they sent an email this morning because of the cold, but seeing as they didn't have my appointment on the books, I didn't get an email. However, the man I spoke with was apologetic and said he would see if he could get out later today. He called back five minutes later saying that he'd be able to come out between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. He did - Arturo (I presume that's also whom I spoke with on the phone) and another man came out and got started quickly. Arturo was professional, got a handle on my concerns (potential leak), and went up on the roof despite the below 0 windchill. They took some pictures of problems with the window capping on a second floor window where they suspected the leak. They covered and sealed it for a quick fix; they reported no problems with the roof itself. They also took some pictures of issues with the chimney flashing and gave me long-term recommendations on fixes for both the capping and flashing. Arturo and the other employee's quick work, immediate fixes, and realistic future recommendations with no hard sell, all in the bitter cold, makes up for the original missed appointment.

The Contractor from progressive roofing was extremely professional and he did a great job on the repairs. I definitely will use progressive roofing again in the future. Thanks,

updated on 2/1/2015: The leak re-appeared during a recent thaw. I tried another roofer, knowing that this leak was sporadic and not easily located. the next roofer pointed out that Progressive had caulked several of the roofing tiles around the potential leak area. The new roofer explained that this would trap water under the tiles and cause me more problems. It will now cost me a few hundred dollars to undo the work that Progressive did.. and replace the caulked tiles. I have downgraded my appraisal of Progressive.

The only problem I had with them was they never sent me the bill. They did all the work. The guy was nice and honest but they were a little disorganized. I was happy with their work. They were quick in everything. I'm not worried about the work that was done. I'd use them in the future because of the quality of the work.

Oscar & Jonathan arrived on time, and checked the roof , closed the holes. Advised on what are best was to keep roof protected. Also offered additional services they can do. Overall, excellent service by this company.

They missed the first 2 dates and times promised which is really what bothered me. Very polite and professional about the situation as they were busy with many people who signed up for the special. The work was done very quickly when they made it out there to do it. It has been a bit and the work seems solid as we have had no leaks. There was a wire they left so the job to me is still not complete, but based on the special i got i think its ok.

They did a good job, actually worked with our insurance company for the other house, but they left an overhang roof not complete. we were not aware that it had a metal roof and they didn't tell us. They were going to go back and paint this area but they never did, and we just stopped calling them. For the main portion of the roof they completed they did a great job, but they need to make people aware of all the different types of roofing issues so the look is finished.

Oscar showed up on time, and after introductions, went right to work. We developed a sudden leak above a bay window on the third floor. Oscar brought the right equipment, and did a complete review of the entire flat roof and the roof above the bay window. He corrected issues with the flashing above the window (sealing gaps). Then he did a complete inspection of the roof, and made repairs and filled gaps as necessary. He took pictures of the items corrected. I was concerned with the advent of winter, that the roof may need immediate attention (its been 4 years). Oscar is going to give me an estimate for corrections to ensure it is totally watertight. I can;t stress enough the prompt, professional and courteous service Oscar provided. I will definitely recommend Progressive to family and friends.

It went very smoothly! The technician arrived on time and was well prepared. He explained exactly what he was going to do. We went into the attic space and inspected the roof, looking for any obviously signs of water intrusion, of which none were found. We then went on the roof looking for problem areas, and the tech snapped pictures of any and all issues discovered. He then recommended courses of action, and provided a written report via email of all the findings. Did a great job, and alleviated our fears about the condition of the roof as only minor repairs that I can perform myself were needed. So happy they did not try to scam us into saying we would need an entire new roof! Would do business with again!

Friendly, punctual, and professional.

I was very happy with the way that Oscar conducted the business. He took pictures before and after. He was a pleasure to deal with. I cannot yet say how the repair will hold up as it is supposed to last 3-5 years.

I selected this offer of $129 for a roof inspection and minor repair. I had a small leak and was extremely impressed with his professionalism, thoroughness, and politeness. He arrived on time, examined the roof, glued down a shingle that had blown elsewhere on the roof and showed me pictures he took of where he removed the existing caulk and re-caulked with the proper type of caulk/silicone that won't dry out. Not many people impress you with a job where he is mainly on your roof, but he did. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

It went okay. They came out in October. No additional costs. They could have came when I was there. He did what the deal was for. He told me he was going to send me the pictures and he never sent me the pictures he just showed me on his phone. The price was good. I trust that he did what he said he did. They responded well.

Overall I'm very happy with Progressive Roofing. I had read about the lack of timely response to phone calls and emails and originally I found this not to be true. After the first call Arturo was quickly able to schedule time to come review our downspout. However, the time between that and the actual quote did take some time, about a week in total. Not a huge issue, but not what we had talked about. However, after calling back a few times and finally getting the quote it was a cheaper quote than others and included more services. On the day of the repair it was quite windy so I was prepared for his team to have to reschedule but instead they used harnesses instead of ladders, to perform the repairs. While up on our roof they noticed that the flashing for one of our chimneys had been chewed by an animal, likely a squirrel. Arturo sent me a picture of the damaged flashing and asked if we'd like it taken care of while they were on the roof. Would I consider this up-selling from the original quote, absolutely, but I was very happy for the service to be performed as it is always expensive to have someone go up on the roof, and Arturo and his team were already up there. He was very up front about the cost of this new repair and throughout the repairs he never varied from his original quotes. Overall, I would recommend Arturo and his guys, but understand that it may take a little leg work to get the quote if you have a non-standard job. From my perspective, this was leg work worth undertaking as I feel I got more bang for my buck.

He did a fine job. No details except to say he performed the services described above in a capable way and was pleasant.

12/1/15 - it looks maybe they didn't do the job right the first time, I called them to come fix it, and they said they'd come back out when the weather was better (it was raining that day). I haven't heard back from them since.

The inspection went very well. The service person was very professional and pleasant. He went about the inspection quickly and explained repairs simple and clear. He only had to replace nails, I was very satisfied.
