I was under the impression that the stairs were included. I was told when he was here that they were not included. We were moving into a new, empty home in a few days so paid extra for the stairs. The problem was that the carpet was not very clean once finished. There was an overall appearance of dirt and many spots (which he showed to me and said would not come out) I believed him. When they called to follow up, I said it was fine. So props to the company for a follow up call. A month later, after living here, I began to remove the spots by hand and they cleaned pretty easily. So, I finally rented a rug doctor. I spent about 4 hours with the rug doctor and the carpet looked much much brighter, and cleaner. My husband was shocked (we were considering new carpets) Maybe his first attempt did help loosen things, IDK. But I do know that I would not use the service again; I would either try another service or rent a rug doctor. The rug doctor was only 70 including solution. My opinion.
