The crew from Quality did an amazing job. The work they accomplished in a few days was incredible - they started when they said they would and the job was completed timely and they did quality work....like their name! They did not mess around with the prep. They power washed then grinded out the complete façade and balcony and then filled/sealed with the appropriate mortar/cement/caulking Neighbors texted me the first two days they were on-site to tell me how my building was being transformed.

The work was completed in a professional and timely manner. Mike Smith and his crew were polite and made this process go very smoothly. We are planning another project for next summer and this is the company will be using.

ive been putting off the roof replacement for a while because it just wasn't in the budget but it just had to get done this year and after calling a few company's I didn't think it would get done but then mike smith the owner operator of quality roofing showed up to provide us with the estimate we requested after reading some of there reviews from other sites so as promised arrived on schedule and was actually kind enough to contact us an hour before he had arrived just to confirm that he was in route which honestly meant a lot because we had been stood up by other contractors so after he arrived he took his time inspecting the roofs and after completing his inspection he asked if we had time to go over his findings or if we wanted him to just email the report and the estimate after agreeing to go over it Mike was very thorough explaing his findings he also provided a bunch of pictures he took while inspecting the roof which made it that much easier for us to understand what he was saying regarding his inspection after which mike said he would email us a formal proposal and promised not to share our email so we wouldn't be getting any junk mail sure enough the next day we received a detailed estimate on what the cost for the roof replacement would cost and honestly it was a lot closer to our budget then the previous contractors that inspected our roof but still just out of range so we decided to hold off till next year but it just so happened that mike the owner who inspected the roof decided to contact us just to make sure we received the proposal he sent over and if we had any questions so we got to talking details and mike was willing to work with our budget and helped us get the roofs done this year which was a great load off our minds because we honestly had no clue of what type of winter we would have this year once the agreement was signed mike and his crew were very professional as to when they said they would start and when it would be done I really liked the fact that there was no promises made that were not kept from start to finish I would defenitly work with mike and his crew again they were truly a great help

When QRM gave us the quote for the project, they provided us with 2 quotes, one for a best case scenario and one for a worst case scenario upon removal of the existing cornice, which was in pretty bad shape. When they removed the cornice, we were told that neither of these quotes were an option as the wall beneath the cornice was in such bad shape that the wall need to be repaired as it was at risk of collapsing and that is was a now completely different project from the original scope. Mike provided us with a new quote which was $8000 higher than the original. He also said that the $2500 deposit we had originally paid him would not apply to the new quote and that it would only cover the cost of removing the cornice. On top of that, he charged us $500 to cover the exposed cornice area with a tarp. I called another tuckpointing company that agreed that the $2700 deposit which Mike later claimed only covered the removal and the $500 tarp fee were exorbitant and a case of a contractor trying to take advantage of a situation where he had started the project and is now telling us that it is going to cost much more due to x, y and z. We ended up getting the job completed using a different contractor for less money and on top of that the new contractor also completed additional tuck pointing work that the building needed. I would never recommend Quality Roofing and Tuck Pointing company to anyone based upon my experience. I would also warn of hidden fees and someone trying to ring up the bill unnecessarily. I am sorry that we paid him any money at all as he overcharged us for that as well.

He also offered to paint the fence, he was not licensed to paint but I let him. He painted in the rain and the paint is now smeared. He was suppose to take off the rough spots but he didn't. His work was not neat and he did not clean up after himself.

We had severe wind damage to our roof. Quality Roofing and Masonry did a tear off and replacement with a new PVC roof. This required significant masonry repairs to the parapet walls before the new roof could be attached. Mike Smith is extremely knowledgeable about roofs and masonry. He impressed me for his depth of knowledge about types of brick and options for restoration of brick, that other contractors didn't even consider. His roofing knowledge is also profound. The bid Quality made was competitive and the additional charges once the roof was torn off were fair. The crew was meticulous about clean up each day, and responsive to neighbor requests. The project completed one day early. It was a pleasure working with Quality Roofing. The only glitch we had was an outdoor outlet that was blown by the power tools used on the roof.

Mike was very prompt and responsive throughout our interactions with him. His assessment of our roof was very thorough, and both he and his whole crew were on time and professional. We will definitely use him again and highly recommend Quality Roofing!

Having problems with our roof and wall, we interviewed different contractors. Quality Roofing and Masonry stood out for us for several reasons. Mike Smith, the owner, took pictures and explained in full detail what options we had. If he had to draw pictures to explain what we did not understand, he did. Spent lots of time, without knowing if he was going to get the job. Others just came and without even looking at the roof or wall, gave us outrageous quotes and limited options? Also, we had a previous contactor con us and cause more damage to our roof and wall. Luckily, he is in jail for conning others. Based on that bad experience, we needed to see Mike?s business license, references, the works! Even our neighbors wanted copies of his insurance carrier and had Mike signed a legal documents since he had to place the scaffolding on the property of two of our neighbors. Throughout all this, Mike never showed annoyance. If anything, Mike remained very professional. The work was done October 10, 2014 and to date is solid and of course with guarantee. The crew that came was also professional from beginning to end. Mike took after pictures to have us review what was done and to ensure we were completely satisfied with the work. This, to us is outstanding customer service!
