JOHN PANOCK'S PAINTING

He used Benjamin Moore paint and did a teriffic job. The paint still looks like new four years later. Highly recommended.

John made our house a home. Every room was more beautiful then the next. He is a perfectionist and the amount of money we spent was worth every penny!

The work was generally satisfactory but there was one annoying occurrence. John seemed obsessed with matching the colors that we asked for perfectly, but couldn't do that using the paints that we had chosen (from Consumer Reports). This resulted in two weekend days interrupted by many phone calls from paint stores where he was trying to satisfy our requests. In the end, he used high quality paints and the colors were just what we wanted, but it should not have been such a hassle. He did work very hard for us, but for awhile we wondered if he was actually going to get around to doing the job. He also squeezed the job in at the very end of the season. The evening of the day he finished, the weather turned cold and rainy for over a week. We appreciated his determination to get the job done quickly. The work was done by John and one other painter. My only complaint: the job cost a few hundred dollars more than we expected because he used paint we specified and power washing was extra.
