TRUCLEAN

I screened TruClean for my elderly mother. The owner was friendly and I told my mother to make the appointment. First appointment was set for December 19th. TruClean called and said their equipment was broken and couldn't make it. They wanted to make it up with a gift. My mom said it wasn't necessary, and set another appointment for December 20. The vendor never showed or called. My mom left a voice mail asking what happened. December 21st rolled around and she received no call back from the service explaining what happened again. She is finished with this service and I will never call them again.

The cleaning that they did do seemed OK overall. However, before the job started we discussed with the men doing the cleaning work specific areas (high traffic areas, spots, stains) that were in need of special treatment. The men spent several hours cleaning the items previously mentioned. We were told that the carpet would be dry enough to walk on in 4-6 hours. The carpet was not sufficiently dry in this time frame. Not until the following day was the carpet dry enough to walk on. On the following day we realized that none of the special attention areas seemed to have been addressed. The spots, stains, and high traffic areas were still soiled. This work was done about 4 weeks ago at the time of this report. After at least 8 calls (I called them every day for 4 days in a row), we've never received a return call. Pretty ironic for a company whose voice mail states ''If your stains come back so do we!'' The overall experience was painless. The job was completed within a short period of time. The work was fabulous. My carpets look and feel great. My chairs look brand new.

Mark always called if he was going to be late, and even offered to pick up anything I might need from the grocery store on his way over! He was very neat with everything he did, and tried several different methods to remove the stain on the carpet (caused by the red dye in the dog food my dog vomited.)He cleaned a few small area rugs at no charge. Although this was a large amount of money to pay for cleaning, I have never had so many things cleaned all at one time. He and his helper worked almost the entire day to clean all this stuff. He also left a few small blower fans to help dry the carpet faster, and made two trips with different supplies to work on the carpet stain. We have also asked him to clean the carpeting in my mother-in-law''s apartment.
