I recently had the pleasure of working with Ismael. Finding construction people who are timely, honest, do good work and charge a fair price is near impossible and Ismael nailed it all. Ismael takes immense pride in his work, and it shows in the stunning results. The polished floors look absolutely beautiful, and the kitchen flooring is nothing short of perfect. It’s clear that he truly cares about the quality of his work and the satisfaction of his clients. What I found particularly impressive is that Ismael runs a family business, working alongside his sons. After purchasing our home, my wife and I decided to have maple wood floors installed in the bedrooms to match the rest of the house. We received three bids in an effort to keep everyone honest. Ismael was referred to us by our neighbor. From the beginning of the process, he was my favorite. He has a great personality but more importantly, he was the most knowledgeable and based on his assessment, I was confident he would produce the best work product. He actually predicted how the bidding process would play out. "I come out and give the estimate and I install the floors. They have a guy who will come out and estimate and someone else to install the floors. There will be miscommunication and problems with that. With me, no problems." Ismael could not have been more accurate. It was really frustrating and time consuming dealing with the other vendors just to obtain their bids! We paid a little more to work with Ismael but it was money well spent. My rationale was the benefit of paying a skilled craftsman to do the work correctly outweighed my time having to correct potential mishaps. We had such a great experience. Ismael and his crew were punctual, on budget and finished exactly when they said they would. They also revealed amazing attention to details--they identified and corrected a creek in a section of the floor and a stain that could not be sanded so they replaced that section of the floor. The floors turned out beautiful and we could not be happier. Ismael and his crew are consummate professionals! The best!

Integrity!!! Ismael was very honest and told me he didn’t want to take on a job after he spent hours doing research. He didn’t want to risk me being unhappy. It’s not always about the money. Ismael and his sons did an AMAZING job with our project, which was refinishing some hardwood that is about 15-20 years old. We had a light oak color, but wanted to change the color to a dark coffee color and this company was very personable as well as detail oriented. They only do 5⭐️ work and take the extra time and effort needed to make sure that’s the case. My wife and I were both thrilled with the outcome of this project. It really can change the feel of the house and was well worth the money. Very pleased!

I need it by wood floors refinished before moving into my new condominium. I contacted Ishmael and told him of my timeframe constraints I was under, and he was able to redo my floors in three days. He met with me the day off to review the needs of my floors, came the next day sanded, and stained them, and was able to seal them the next day. They look brand new. Such a positive experience. I recently bought my first home with my 3 sons and were in dire need to replace our 30+ yr old floors. Hiring this team was the best choice I made with any home projects ever! Another amazing job by Ismael and his crew. This is the fifth room that Ismael has transformed for us and everything was perfect. The original floor that he worked on was completed in 2004 and it still looks like he just finished the job. Artistry and pride are evident in his work.

Called to setup a date and time for an estimate. Ismael gave me an estimate on the phone for my square footage. I asked if staining was included and he said yes. When he showed up for the estimate, he said it would an additional $300.00 because I wanted a dark stain. He said he wanted 4,000 of the 4,800 on the first day before he started the job and would need the rest when he finished. I said this was too much and tried to get him to agree to half, but he started to pack up his stuff and said I was welcome to choose someone else. I said ok and then he paused and said he would agree to 3,800 on the first day and would let the check sit on my counter and wouldn't cash it until he was finished with my floor. I agreed to this and Ismael started my floors on the following Monday. He cashed my check the first day and I didn't say anything to him since he was making good progress on the floors and the sanding looked good. Later in the week, Ismael stained the floors and put the first coat of vanish on them. He told me to take a look at the floors and leave him the last of the money. I took a look at the floors and told him they look wavy to me and it looks like his sander was out of balance, but he assured me the floor would come out great after the next coat of vanish and I was just looking at an area with a lot of grain in it. He applied the last coat of vanish and I let the floors dry for a few days before inspecting. When I walked in, the floors were wavy in every room. After doing some research, I had what's called "chatter" this happens when a sander is out of balance and leaves ripples in the floor. Ismael said the floor looked great to him and said he had an expensive sander and there's nothing wrong with it. After pressing him for a while, he finally admitted to the waves in the floor and said it was because my floors were weak. I told him... You knew the condition of my floors before you started the job and mentioned nothing about them being weak. He said if he sanded them again, they would probably look the same and didn't seem to want to remedy the issue. He said after I mopped it a few times, the sheen would go away and I wouldn't notice the ripples. Ismael did a good job with the stain and varnish, but with a bad sand job, this was meaningless.

It was a good experience. The floors of our new construction house were completely botched. Ismael and his team were able to redo what had been done so horribly by the original floor guys. They were able to match the color of the other wood perfectly and the work was completed on time and on budget. Approximately 900 sq. ft.

I have had floors refinished in the past and have always been disappointed. This time was different! The floors have a rich look with no splotches or bubbles. There were some unexpected problems with the banisters but Lester came up with a solution that I am very happy with. The workers started on the date promised and were there everyday long hours until the job was finished. My questions were answered respectfully and any concerns were addressed with a positive responsive attitude. I had planned to renovate the kitchen but had not had time to have cabinets, etc. removed. For a very reasonable price, the guys from Traditional Quality Hardwood Flooring removed all the kitchen cabinets and even managed to salvage the granite. It was a pleasure to have work done by competent, friendly professional people!

Ismael is very professional and easy to work with. He answered all my questions up front and completed the work on time. My only complaint was a little bit of excess finish was seen on the stairs. But otherwise he was clean and did quality work.

I used Ismael to refinish the hardwood floors in my living room and kitchen. He sanded them down to get rid of some scratches and stained them. Ismael did the estimate and gave me the best price. He also was able to squeeze me into his schedule and get the work done before any of the other estimates. His crew did a great job and did not leave any kind of mess. They even stained some vent coverings to match the floor without me having to ask. Ismael was straight forward and friendly. I highly recommend at the very least getting an estimate from him.

Ismael's team is fantastic. The work was completed on time and in an exceptional manner. Additionally, Ismael had to work around a number of other crews performing other repairs and services, and he did this with no difficulty or complaint. The pricing was also very reasonable considering the work that was done.
