Came out within 2 hrs of my call- replaced both springs on my garage door in under 30 minutes, price was $50 lower than another company that "could come out in 4days." and another company on Angie's list did not even return my call.

John showed up and determined it was a faulty wire in the garage motor box which prevented the door from opening. He also determined the bottom right sensor had a corroded wire from snow/salt that was giving a false positive that something was beneath the door, which prevented it from closing. He was here less than an hour and was able to fix both issues. I felt the repair cost was very reasonable and expected to pay much more to get my door working. I will use his company again for any future garage door repairs.

I called and talked to owner John. We made appointment for the following day. John did not show up. I called him at the end of the day, he apologized, said he would be out the following morning. John came out, fixed the door, works fine now. He was very pleasant while he was here. $50. And I would call again.

Super honest guy - did a great job and a pleasure to work with. Very responsive. The first time we called him he actually walked us through how to fix our door and the second time, came out the very next morning when we needed him. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I just purchased a home and wanted to have my garage door inspected and tuned up if necessary. It is a very old model and I wanted to make sure it worked properly. Not only was John available the same day I called, but he came out when it was most convenient for me. He did a thorough inspection and saved me a lot of money by making a few quick fixes and explaining some things about the garage door/opener to me. He is extremely knowledgeable and competent. I would absolutely recommend him and use him again! He was fair and thorough and reminds me why working with smaller, neighborhood companies is much more enjoyable than with the big name competitors. Rapid Overhead Garage (owner John) can be described in ONE word. Phenomenal! You call and he answers the phone. Came out that day and called me back and provided a (VERY) fair price. (I had shopped and Rapid was the least expensive for better quality) He was on time and his attention to detail is not generally seen in this day and age. You can tell he's "old schooled" - when the customer's satisfaction mattered over just doing 1/2 a job with shoddy workmanship, collecting a payment and leaving. He was very neat (You initially wouldn't think so :-) but let him finish and clean up before you judge.) Read the reviews and comments here and on Rapid's Facebook page. Everything you read is true. We looked for a garage door because I thought ours had broken and come to find out it was only a broken spring. He was great. I would tell a friend by all means call them. He told me that I didn't need a new door just a new spring.

John showed up at the house to provide an estimate of the total cost. He was very honest and easy to speak with about the options of the garage door. He even suggested some design options when looking at our house to ensure we didn't lose "curb appeal" when installing the door. We confirmed the job on a Monday and the new garage door was installed on Wednesday. We're very happy with the service that was provided. John reviewed everything with us step by step before finalizing the project. I would highly recommend this company.

John and his son were very professional, were very patient explaining all the options for both service and replacement. There was never any hard-sell about which direction we should go or options we should choose. That said, they were also very honest about their recommendations and provided rationale for every variation. The work he did was quick, clean, and very attentive to detail. We were assured if anything went wrong with his repair prior to getting the new door installed, he's fix it without question. My wife and I get the sense integrity and honesty are John's professional calling cards. We were both impressed with his demeanor and casual but professional manner.

We were able to get an appointment within a short time after we called the company. The workers arrived on time and got right to work. They were efficient and got the job done!
