Matt (and his technicians when he needs two people for a job) is always prompt, professional, friendly and efficient. He arrived right on time and finished in about 2 1/2 hours. The work area is always protected with drop cloths and cleaned up afterwards. Matt is also great at communicating by responding quickly with estimates, scheduling his visits and answering any questions.

We were very satisfied with his work. He arrived exactly on time and did what we needed to have done. When he finished our work, there was some left over time, and he did a couple other small jobs. I would give him an A. We will call him again.

Goldstream accommodated my tight schedule, and the installation of the outlet was performed very efficiently. There was time for another task and the electrician also installed a ceiling fan. This was a great value. I couldn't be happier with the work. I have scheduled them to return for some additional projects.

I purchased the 2 hour labor deal from Angie's List and was very happy with Matt. He's a true professional-arrived with a drop cloth and booties to protect his shoes from our floors. He was honest and said it would only take him 20 minutes to install the switch and to think of other electrical tasks I needed done around the house. Luckily, he had other switches and covers on his truck to complete those other tasks I had been putting off. Some electricians would have upcharged me like crazy for those items. His prices were very fair and reasonable. He was very meticulous about his work and is very knowledgeable about electrical codes. All of the work he did was top-notch perfect. He even recommended a better timer system that I wasn't aware of and trained me on how to use the new system. I'm very happy that we hired Matt and will be using him again!

I am very happy with the service, price and way in which my inquiry was managed. Matt was excellent. I have already recommended Matt to a friend, and I will use him any time we have a need for an electrician. What I appreciated (and respected) was his patience and thorough explanation to my questions. Matt clearly explained his pricing beforehand, and there were no surprises with our bill after the work. He quickly diagnosed and fixed our problem, and answered my questions related to future work. I believe he's a trustworthy contractor and would strongly recommend him.

Matt at Goldstream Electrical is fantastic! Had an old panel that was of a brand prone to catching fire, Matt came in and replaced it quickly and did a superb job. Also took my sump pump off a shared circuit, and followed up on some outlet issues I was having. I'll never go anywhere else for electrical work now. Trust me, I have tons of trouble finding good people to do quality work at a fair price, it just seems almost impossible to find quality contractors these days, but no worries with Matt at Goldstream. He is responsive, the work is top notch, and the prices are very fair. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I bought a 1970's condo that needed updating. The Federal Pacific electric panel was flagged as a fire hazard by my home inspector so I opted to replace it sooner rather than later as well as update a whole bunch of outlets. Matt at Goldstream gave me an estimated cost range with explanations as to what might raise or lower the final cost. He requested a picture of the existing panel to prepare for the service call. After seeing it was 200 amps, he let me know it would be at the upper end of the estimate to replace it, and asked if I still wanted to go ahead with the work. I've since learned of quite a few friends who had to replace their Federal panels and they were all impressed with the replacement price. Matt also warned me several times, before I engaged his services up to when he and his partner arrived to do the work, that the new panel would be larger and I might need to have drywall work done afterwards. It ended up not being necessary as the panel fits almost perfectly (a couple of nicks I can fix myself if I want). While they were there for the panel, I asked them about installing a fan in the center of a ceiling without an existing light fixture. They did some investigative work above the ceiling and explained different options for wiring the fan. Matt was frank when he said I might not want to do it because he'd have to break open the ceiling. However, he came up with a creative option to add recessed lights as a way to get around tearing up the ceiling or wall for the wiring. Once again, he warned me in advance that I'd probably need to paint the ceiling so there were no surprises. It ended up looking fantastic and added light to a dark area in the room as a bonus. Its now my favorite space in the condo. For another room, I'd already purchased the light fixtures with special order light bulbs. The light was much brighter than I'd expected it to be in the small space. Matt picked up on my surprise and said he could put a dimmer on one or both of the lights. I ended up going "dimmer crazy" and he was a good sport as I decided to retro-fit dimming the new fan's speed as well as all the new lights. The second ceiling fan was a much simpler installation, with Matt adding a wall switch transmitter to control fan speed and lights. All the work took three visits to complete. Both Matt and his partner checked in with me as they worked to make sure I was happy with x, y, or z. Matt proactively pointed out some things he wasn't sure I'd be happy with (subtle color differences) and changed what I didn't like without charging me. Similarly, a new gfci outlet failed and Matt replaced it no charge. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with all the work I've had done. Goldstream was prompt, neat, responsive to my needs and questions (including being upfront about what could happen and what might not be possible), and gave me creative solutions. I'm sure I will hire them again for future projects.

Matt did a great job! He was super responsive via text message (even when I texted him on accident!) and explained everything in a way that I could understand. I had a couple add-ons to our order and he was able to let me know cost in advance, and let me know what he would have to evaluate at the house in looking at it. Our house has older electric and he explained to us what needed to be done and why. They were clean and timely and did everything in the exact way I would expect. This company does not take shortcuts and is fair in price for the quality of work that they perform. I would hire Goldstream again (and we just may need to when we replace our entire electrical panel!!).

Never contacted via email or phone. When I called they told me that the price purchased would cover the first hour and not the two hours contracted for and that it would be $85 per each 15 minutes thereafter.

Up sell me and dissuade me from using the coupon. I don't mind paying for premium services but I do mind the bait and switch tactics. What I purchased was exactly what I needed and the description fit it well. Unfortunately it was not to be with this vendor.

matt was great. He asked detail questions via email to estimate the work and the cost. We set up a time and he even sent a reminder the night before the job. On the day of the job, He arrived on time. Reviewed the proposed work and made practical suggestions, including not doing some if the work saying it wasn't necessary. It was great to get an honest expert opinion. He completed the work efficiently and with good quality. He was very respectful to clean up and wore booties in the house. Overall experience was great. I'd call Matt anytime I needed an electrician.

Matt was super nice. He came out on time. We had a gas grill that was attatched to the concrete many years ago. Recently we had people take the grill off it, but they left the electrical part. We needed an electrician for that. Matt came and did the job.

Matt is a consummate professional. Delivered a very fair quote for the amount of work done and did an unbelievable job. Was a pleasure to have in our home. Very tidy worker and cleaned up any mess that was made from cutting, etc.. Our project drug on due to other contractors and Matt was very flexible and worked within our time frame. Will definitely use again and recommend to anyone in need of a quality electrician.

from the time of estimate to job finish, matt was knowledgeable, efficient and professional. he answered all questions leading up to the job patiently and was able to trouble shoot any issues that came up during the job. everything looked and worked great. and matt not only took the stress out of the process, but was a complete pleasure to work with.

Working with Matt was a fantastic experience. He is very professional and smart, and does extremely good work. He was prompt, responsive, and punctual and was easy to communicate with by phone, email, or text. He listened to our needs and suggested appropriate solutions. He and Dakota worked diligently and carefully, making sure to cover the areas underneath and cleaned up after themselves when they left each day. They both were friendly, respectful, and easy to have working around the house. We added work to the original plan and they were easily able to accommodate us and will be coming back in a week or two to finish. Matt's attention to detail is unlike anything we have ever seen before. Everything in our house will look perfect! We feel we have found "our electrician" and wouldn't use anyone else in the future!

From the very first time he was out here, Matt was able to diagnose the situation, explain it and fix it. Matt fixed some of the subpar work of other electricians. Here's a listing of what Matt has done in our house: replace a variety of switches and outlets, installed a whole house surge protector, added a separate circuit for a downstairs refrigerator, and did a number of circuit moves on the electric panels to optimize the coverage of our backup generator that required the installation of a junction box and the rewire of all of the circuits in our house through the junction box into the electrical panels. Matt works quickly and accurately to get the job done. He has great knowledge of his trade and he really pays attention to detail like wrapping switches in electrical tape. I won't let anyone else near the electricity in our house and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Matt is a true professional and he is my "go to" electrician for everything. I'm just sorry that it took me this long to write the review!

I wanted recessed lighting installed and found Mathew's deal. I selected Mathew because of his great reviews, you don't see a 100% customer satisfaction rating very often. I was also impressed that he responded to all the comments posted. Everything was perfect, from communication, to installation to the finished job, and I'm picky! Mathew responded quickly, patiently and honestly to all my questions. He arrived on time. He moved, covered anything and everything that could get debris on it. He was extremely neat while working, he even had a debris catcher on the end of his drill to catch stuff coming from the ceiling as he was drilling. He made suggestions and showed us with red X's (tape) on the ceiling where the can lights would go and explained why he thought they should go there. He suggested rotating can lights to highlight artwork on 2 walls. He had 2 of these on hand instead of the 4 that was needed so he finished the install and came back in a couple of days to replace the stationary fittings with the rotating ones. He also got new trim for our kitchen light at no additional charge. There was very little to no mess left when he was done. Mathew worked smoothly, methodically and professionally. Hire Mathew, you won't regret it for a second!! Did I mention how amazing the recessed lighting looks! My house went from looking like it was from the 80's (although I have new furniture) to looking updated and current!

The job went extremely well. Matt was able to give me an accurate estimate based on a photo I sent him of the current breaker panel. He arrived on time and did an excellent job. It's an old house and fitting new equipment can be a challenge. Matt replaced the existing panel with a larger one and labelled all of the breakers.

Matt was so nice and very professional. I had 4 fixtures from 1975 that needed to be replaced and he did them so quickly. I had one fixture I had put up but one socket wasn't working and he fixed my mistake and didn't even laugh. He told me what I needed to do for the dimmable fixture, thank goodness, because I had no idea. I installed to bathroom fixtures and he was kind enough to check them for me at my request, to make sure that they were installed correctly. (they weren't) Excellent service!

He did a good job. He was on time and was very patient and answered all our questions. He took care of the switch box issue ( had option only for 1 and he expanded it to two ). Also he took care of the wiring challenge, getting the wire from attic to the switch board.
