The work was originally scheduled for a single day, but after pulling the outdoor Ethernet the electricians decided around 2:30pm to reschedule the speaker installation because they were tired (it was a unusually hot day), so we arranged a day the following week. They arrived on time and installed the speakers. Overall, the requested work was performed. That said, I am not happy with the quality of the speaker installation. The circles made for the speakers were made quite roughly (appears as if they were cut by hand instead of using a hole saw), with obvious gaps around the speakers visible to anyone who cares to look up. I expected to have to fix the wall/ceiling where holes were made to route the wires, I did not expect to have to also patch the holes where the speakers are installed. As can be seen in the photos, one of the holes is particularly problematic, and will require significant triage. The other three can probably be patched/painted in place if they can be partially extracted and masked without damaging the drywall further.

Everything went very well - we will be using Matt for our future electrician needs.

They responded quickly to our request for service. They came within the time that he said that he would be here. We knew the minimum charge before he came. He was very personable. To show what I mean, so we've been in this house for about a year and were finding great interesting things that the previous owner had done and I was making a joke about that and he said "yeah, that's not the first that happened." My husband had dropped a screw when he was trying to fix the ceiling fan initially and I went in to say " Oh, my husband dropped the screw and can't find it. Here we got some more" and he says "Oh, I found it. he dropped it inside the fan." Oh, Okay. He was funny. He was very nice.

Extremely smoothly for both. Matt was very prompt, worked very efficiently, was super professional.

This is the Second time we have had Matt from Goldstream electric out to do work. He finds solutions not excuses. We had 2 difficult projects for him and he got them both done and we are extreme happy with the results. There are no surprises, clear itemized project quote and clears itemized bill at the end of the Job. We will be having him back very shortly and for any and all electrical projects in our home.

He asked clarifying questions about the jobs, explained his fee structure, and provided a verbal estimate. Matt's communication is top notch, his charges are reasonable, and scheduling was a breeze. He finished the electrical projects efficiently (1.25 hours) and asked quick questions along the way to ensure our satisfaction. Upon leaving, he also relayed a few things to us regarding our electrical system, which will be helpful to know when we eventually prepare to sell our home. Just a great experience all-around. Great! We discussed a few installation options and decided to use the existing circuit. The electrician was conscientious about placement and was careful to set the post properly.

Matt was very responsive when I initially contacted him. He came to our home and gave us an estimate with prices for different scenarios, which was nice. On the day he was to complete the work, he arrived on time with another worker. They moved furniture out of our TV room and put down tarps. We appreciated that. They installed the ceiling fan and installed a dimmer switch. The outside light and outlet, he consulted with my wife as to where the best spot would be for both. The work completed was done in a timely manner. We look forward to working with Matt in the future. He was honest and provided quality work.

Good. Matt is efficient and professional. Works hard and knows his stuff. One thing I liked about him was that he tried to figure out the problem and the best solution rather than just whine that it couldn't be done or that it wasn't worth it like so many contractors do nowadays. I would hire him again.

Great! This is the 3rd time I have hired Matt to come out to do some work. The first time he replaced a broken ceiling fan, the 2nd I needed help with our door bell transformer and today he replaced patio lighting we purchased. There was a problem with the base because the new lighting was too shallow for the existing wiring. So, Matt went out to Home Depot and purchased bricks to raise the lights and installed new electrical boxes. He was on time, quick and the price was very reasonable. He also checked on a bathroom vent fan that wasn't working. I will need to purchase a new one and he will need to return to replace the motor. Matt is always on time, it is easy to reach him by text and I feel that he is very honest. His prices is also reasonable.

We were very happy with that one. Well, I don't know their price, but the deal was well worth it. He got the work done in under two hours, and he asked if we needed anything else done, he had time to do it. Just tell them its well worth the value. With quality, he came up with a creative way for us to position and run the conduit, so we didn't have to dig up the blue stone in the back yard. It would have been hellacious. He was able to come up with a solution, that worked really, really well. He had to dig up a lot of a bed, that had been mulched. You couldn't really see where he had actually did the work. He did a nice job. It may be the owner, so I am not sure how many workers he had, It was the same person that I had spoke with. It was fine. I thought it was really well done. That he listens to your needs. He seems very efficient, and that he was able to work with you to help you get around things that can be problematic.

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have used Goldstream for electrical work. Matt is truly an expert in his craft and always comes up with useful options & suggestions. He is easy to get a hold of, on time, neat, and careful. His prices are very reasonable considering the quality of work he does. I can't recommend him enough. A++++++++++++

This is the second time we had Matt help us with electrical work. During the consultation for providing an estimate, Matt is very clear about cost expectations including circumstances which may impact costs. Matt helpfully suggests alternatives to save money. For example, in an office we wanted to improve the lighting and when discussing costs for installed recessed LED lighting, Matt suggested we swap out the existing ceiling fixture instead. Matt does quality work and thinks about future improvements. For example, in 2015, Matt separated the home office outlets to a new 20 amp circuit. I recently switched out a light switch for the same room and found that the wiring for the outlets was pulled to the box in case we ever want to have the outlets work off of a switch. We are very pleased with the work Matt completed. Matt has completely resolved a lot of frustration we used to have with circuits popping whenever vacuuming or drying hair. We would definitely use Goldstream Electrical Services again in the future.

I am very pleased with the work done by Matt and his assistant Steve. Electrical outlets and a new light fixture were replaced in the basement. The upstairs had to be rewired due to several power outages occurring. Matt was very prompt in returning my original call for service. He set up a time to meet and estimate what needed to be done. The work was done exactly as scheduled and true to his estimate. Rewiring needed to be done and new sockets installed. He and his partner did a great job; were very courteous and professional. I am so delighted with the outcome of his work and would most definitely hire him again for any work I may need done in the future. Thanks very much Matt.

It was good. It turned out very well. We made arrangements. There were no additional charges. He was very good. He was punctual. He did what he needed to do. I don't have a worst part. The best parts are he did a good job and he was reasonably priced. I appreciated that. He was fair. He was very responsive.

Matt is very courteous and ultra clean professional. He comes in and gets right to work, covering up the floor and furniture. When he was done the lights looked like they had always been there, he did not mar the ceiling at all. His price was fair for the work he did.

Great. We talked about other projects. He was polite and friendly.

Excellent. I had the light fixture, but none of the electrical parts. All the needed parts were 'on the truck' so that Mr. Matt Goldowski didn't need to run out to buy anything. The work was completed quickly, efficiently and neatly. It was pouring rain outside and Matt carefully put shoe booties on and off every time he needed to go outside.

It went well and work completed in time allotted.
