It was complicated due to deck structure. Matt was a good problem solver and detail oriented. I highly recommend him.

Matt did a great job. He cut a hole through roof boards to access the attic space above the bathroom as this bathroom was an addition to the house, and the hip roof was built over the original roof. The roof has about a 3:12 pitch so it is not easy to fit in there where the fan needed to go. Central AC unit was upgraded to conduit. Completed work in 3 hours. He has done a lot of work for me in the past...will hire again.

This was a great experience for me. Matt from Goldstream is a great person. He knows the features and benefits of his products and services and gave me exactly was I asked for. He even adjusted to some last minute changes that I added and still got the entire job done on time. The quality of the work done is excellent, and it's clear to me that they care for the home owner. He gave me recomendations on what I might want to do in the future as well. I just purchased this house and I have other work being done as well but this is by far the easiest and most satisfying.

Very good experience. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and did the job with little mess or fuss. Although the 2-hour Angie's list deal wasn't the cheapest for an electrician, he was very honest on his materials charges, and the overall cost for the work performed was very reasonable, and I'm confident it was done well.

Matt worked on the projects himself and was able to complete everything in 1 day! He was able to fit my project in quickly based on my tight schedule and timeline of when I needed it complete. I had gathered other quotes for the work, and they were within similar range, give or take $100. I choose Goldstream because I felt very confident in Matt with his explanation of how he would complete the work and his professionalism with the everything that needed to get done. His work was exceptional versus other general contractors that did similar work for me in the past. I would definitely use Goldstream for my future electrical work I need to get done.

Matt was great. He was on time, very professional, and gave a very detailed and easy to understand explanation of the work. He also did a good job explaining the difference between a 100 AMP and 200 AMP panel and helped me make the right choice. I've already scheduled him for additional electrical work I'd like to have done in my home.

This was a fantastic experience. I contacted them and Matt responded very quickly with setting up an appointment for an estimate. He looked everything over and gave me a great price for what needed to be done. Matt then was very flexible with dates to have the work completed. The day of work, Matt showed up promptly and did the work himself. The electric box was a huge mess before and now it looks clean and professional. He even mapped out the circuits for us which I was not expecting. He then walked me through everything he did and noted some issues we may have because of some changes that needed to happen to get up to code. He then went over with me some other improvements that he would recommend in order to avoid problems in the future. When he left, the work space was clean and he was kind enough to offer to help me move furniture back into place. From my experience, I would definitely recommend Matt to anyone needing an electrician. I found him professional and informative. I really like that he took time to explain things to me and how they should work. I will most assuredly use Matt again when I have further electrical work. Thanks Matt!

Replaced 5 outdoor light fixtures -on time and professional. I would use Goldstream again.

I was very happy with Goldstream Electrical. He was quick to respond to my phone calls and schedule the appointment. He arrived promptly and cleaned up everything when he was done. I had a laundry list of electrical questions related to my new older home. What would it take to get my doorbell working? How can i get an outdoor outlet? What is that weird line hanging in my gutter? How can i get my stairs lighting to be able to turn on or off from either the top or bottom of the stairs? Why does my stove sometimes tick? Why does the bulb buzz when it's on? How could I update my kitchen lighting? What would it cost to hang my TV, a fan, or a new hanging light? and the list goes on Matt from Goldstream Electrical Services, Inc. arrived promptly as scheduled and we did a walk through where i peppered him with questions. He patiently answered all my questions and I learned a lot about my old home along the way. Beyond getting very detailed, well informed answers to my questions Matt had time to fix my weird power line hanging in the gutter, install an outdoor electrical outlet, and trouble shoot why my stove might be ticking. I will definitely be asking Matt and Goldstream Electrical Services to return for my next electrical project.

The day after we purchased the Big Deal, Matt contacted us and we set up a two hour time slot that was convenient for us. Matt arrived and we went through our list of electrical problems. Matt explained what could be done in the two hours and what would take longer. We knew that our wish list was more than two hours of work, but we wanted to see how things went and if we liked his work. He put on booties in our house and made sure he picked up any mess. We will definitely be calling Matt to continue working on our house.

Matt repaired a number of our older receptacles and educated us on the code requirements and what was needed for future projects. He also provided an additional (new) switch for our problematic bathroom lighting situation. This was by far one of the best service experiences I have encountered. Matt did a great job for us - we are very pleased with the outcome! We purchased the Angie's List Deal of $149 for 2 hours of work. Matt emailed right away in response to the preferred work-dates that I entered when I made the Deal purchase. He was out at our house a few days later, arriving right on time and arriving with all materials that might be needed for the work I asked him to help with. When I scheduled the service visit I indicated I was going to have him replace 3 old pull-chain closet lights and connect those to new light switches on the wall to bring them up to code. Matt brought all he needed to complete the project - including the covered-bulb type of fixture now required in closets, and the switches needed to operate them, along with the wallplates to cover the new outlets - it was a real treat to have Matt arrive with everything needed. I appreciated that he or I was not having to run to Home Depot to buy stuff while he was on the clock. At the end of the two-hour Deal I had purchased, Matt came to me and told me we were at the two hour mark and then walked me through the items left on my list and estimated the time and cost I'd likely incur if I asked him to keep working. I had him stay to finish the work, and he did it sooner than he projected. We ended up paying him for the extra 90 minutes of time at our house and got all the work done at what we feel was a very fair price. We also paid him for the supplies that he used on our job, and the materials cost was so reasonable that I think we were just paying him back his cost for the switches, light fixture, etc. The $349 we ended up spending included cost and material; work was done efficiently and with care. My wife noticed he was careful to clean up any mess made from the work he did. A very good service experience for us.

Matt did an excellent job. First, he came in and made sure he covered his feet since we did have snow on the ground. He also made sure to put down clothes to keep any direct from the project from getting everywhere. He went up into the attic and did his piping and box work and ran his wires (and it was COLD up there). He re-did the light switches so they didn't control the floor outlet and instead made one switch work the ceiling fan light and the other to control the fan. He had taken the fan down and I told him I probably would have to get a new one since the light wasn't working on it. He spent 10-15 minutes looking at it and found a loose connection inside and took care of that also. He put it all back together and showed me his worked. He cleaned up and was done with all of this within 2.5 hours. Very professional and very competent. I would recommend him to anyone and I will be using him again this summer when I have some electrical work done outside the house near my deck area.

Everything went very well. He was very efficient and thorough in determining the problem. I would most definitely use them in the future and would recommend them to friends and family.

Matt ROCKS! He did the electrical for our kitchen remodel. All the work was done professionally and to code. He went out of his way to keep our project on schedule. Communication was great. Matt was always available to discuss any concerns or answer any questions. Also his quote was the best I received. Matt has been to our house several times as we are in an ongoing renovation of the property which we purchased in the fall of 2013. He has helped us with a new panel and just about everything else - outlets, switches, lighting, wiring, bath fans, etc. Yesterday (2/10) he accommodated us on very short notice by coming out and installing a new dedicated circuit in the basement for the freezer that is that is coming tomorrow (2/12). We have no need to call anyone else, as Matt is professional, proficient, and polite. Don't hesitate to call him. He takes his work seriously and cares about doing a good job and doing things right.

Excellent. It was very important to us that work be performed on very specific dates as we had just closed on a new house, got floors refinished, and want the most important electrical upgrades performed prior to us moving in with our 2 year old daughter. Scheduling was easy, service was timely and professional. Matt went out of his way to coordinate his schedule with ours, and prioritizing our electrical needs, performing work in basement first while floors allowed to dry. Matt was very thorough in evaluating the electrical system. Work was performed during subzero temps and -35 degree wind chills. Due to our concerns of freezing pipes, new electrical panel was installed with furnace on temporary power...never had to be shut down. definitely recommend this company for above mentioned services.
