I was very impressed with Dave's professionalism and honesty. He came out on a Friday night, without hesitation or complaint - I fully expected to wait through the weekend, so this was amazing. It was explained to me that I would need a completely new front door handle, but the size of my front door handle is huge and difficult to find. After doing some research it was decided to make the repair as best as possible - two years later and it's still working :) Then on to my patio doors. The handles are long and sit perpendicular to the door, getting in the way of my new blinds. I wanted to change the handle style to a knob, but the door itself would't allow this change. I would need new doors (ugh!) But, once again, being a quick thinker Dave suggested that we just turn the handles to be parallel with the door. It works beautifully! And in the end, it could have all easily cost me over $300 just for the service call - the new door handles anywhere from $600-$700 total - but it was only $75.00 because he is so incredibly honest and helpful. I would always recommend Bluebird Locksmith to anyone looking for their services.

The service was done a few months ago and we are very pleased with how it went. The technician was very quick to respond, very flexible on timing, and answered all of our questions. We've not had any issues with our locks.

Good advice on hardware selection. Work performed well on standard door hardware. Sliding door hardware was a bit tricky to change lock cylinders, so these were left unchanged. A bit disappointing, but not a big issue. I would hire them again.

They were very responsive, professional and exceptionally clean. Their technician arrived and was very professional and meticulous in assuring the doors closed smoothly with the new locks. I appreciated that he arrived with a name tag indicating he was with Bluebird ( always helps w/ peace of mind in dealing with home contractors). Service was great. He wanted to ensure I was happy and didn't try to upsell on anything we didn't need. Would recommend to a friend.

I purchased a $29 service call through Angie's list, a $50 savings vs. the standard $79 fee. I got tremendous value for the money because I needed three trips: first to see scope, second for the primary appointment, and an errand during the primary appointment to get another door latch, when I expanded the scope of work. (The first one looked so good I wanted the second door.) I received about six hours of time and new hardware for a total cost of about $600, which I consider a bargain. The service was highly professional, respectful, conscientious, and very high quality. I was thinking all the wonderful reviews on Angie's list were too good to be true, but they were true!

They removed the old deadbolts, installed new ones and improved all locks on my house. They were quick and responsive with good pricing. Every outside door was reviewed and each one adjusted to close better and lock easier. The new deadbolts are easier to maintain, work better and function better than my old locks, even when brand new. I would highly recommend Bluebird for anyone needing locksmith work.

It went great! Dave was on time and very friendly and professional. He really knew how to do the job right and make sure our new home was safe and secure without pushing to go beyond what was necessary. He assessed what needed to be done and we discussed options. He had everything he needed with him to get the job done. We were very pleased and would use again.

We had an issue with one of our doors Saturday morning and they were able to come that afternoon. We also asked that they re-key all doors. They were friendly and did the job well. They also provided some helpful insight on other lock/door issues we'd been having. Would use again in the future, particularly due to their availability on weekends and on a moment's notice and due to their friendly service.

Great. I called on Saturday afternoon and David came out a couple of hours later, diagnosed the problem quickly, made the repair, and provided some security suggestions. Terrific. Dave from Bluebird was very knowledgeable and gave us our options (fix or replace). We opted to replace the deadbolt and hardware. The job was done quickly and professionally. If there was an A+ rating, we would have given Bluebird A+.
