They came to do the work on Christmas Eve, after texting and talking on the phone the previous night at 11 pm. They were professional and very responsive. They drilled out the safe without damaging it so that we could switch the lock and continue to use the safe. They were amazing.

The service was done quickly for the price quoted. Actually they showed up even faster than expected! So so so grateful and happy.

We just purchased a new home and wanted to change the locks immediately. We called Scott at Bluebird and I could already tell through our phone call that he knew what he was doing and had a lot of experience in the business. He came out the same day which was great! He was very knowledgable and explained to us the previous locks we had(which were illegal) and suggested better locks to fit our needs and were safer. After replacing all of the locks with matching brass ones, which matched the decor of the house, we changed our minds about the color since we began to redecorate. He came back at no additional charge and switched all the locks to silver. He was so nice and understanding and was very professional. He came on time, explained all the charges and cleaned up when he left. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for new locks! =)

My front door lock would not close or allow us to open/shut the door. I called Bluebird Locksmith as they had a good Angies list review and are located near my house. He told me he would be here within 30 minutes. He arrived promptly, he fixed and replaced my latch (and upgraded it to a better quality one that you cannot purchase at a bix box hardware store). He also pointed out a problem I am developing with the door frame that requires a carpenter. I would never have realized it had he not taken the time to educate me. Overall, I was very impressed and once I mentioned Angies list he gave me a nice discount from their usual rate.

Stopped for gas on the way home from work and noticed a smudge on the drivers side window. Cleaned the window while the car was filling and some water dripped down the door. While wiping the door I must have hit the door lock and BAM - locked out of my car. Another customer filling her car gave me a ride to a friend's house who took me home for my spare key. That's when I remembered I left the spare in the car yesterday when I took the car in for service. Really?????????????? We googled "locked keys in car in Schaumburg" and BlueBird was in the top 3 hits. The locksmith gave me a quote over the phone and we met at the station in 20 minutes. The seals on the windows of a Subaru are a little tricky to work with because of a lip on them, but he managed to open the car without damaging the seal or my electronic locks. The job was completed quickly and at the quoted price. I will definitely call them the next time I need a locksmith.

Great Company! A locksmith was at my place within 15 minutes of my call. The locksmith was very nice and professional. He was quick and the work looks great! The price was good too for the amount of work done.

I called on Friday and immediately got through. He agreed to stop by in a few hours to provide an estimate of the work. He was thorough and had good suggestions. He is very passionate about security. I also felt he made some good cost saving solutions. He agreed to come by the next day to do the installation. He was on time and very courteous. He is careful in his work and I was very pleased with the finished product. I would definitely use Bluebird again and recommend them.

As a woman being locked out of her home alone, I definitely was in a state of panic. Dave immediately made me feel at ease from the moment I spoke with him on the phone. He was great. He showed up when he said he would and on a holiday too. He took all of 3 minutes to open it up. He was very pleasant and very reasonable. I would use him again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend him.

Locksmith Dave is a great guy. He opened my toolshed when I stupidly locked my key in it. It took him all of 10 seconds to open it, then we chatted for a while. I was struck by his obvious passion for what he does (security type stuff) and he has a real authenticity to him that as a fellow small business person I can really pick up on. He gave me a lot of little tips about my place, none of which involved a sales pitch. I could tell he just liked talking about it. It made me want to use him again if I ever want to get more into securing my home and he impressed me enough to write this review, and I never write reviews. So there ya go. I think if you have locksmith or security concerns and live in Lake County, this is the guy to call.
