They generally come out pretty quick. They installed the unit.

They could have solved the problem with one service call instead of having to come out multiple times. I am less likely to use them again.

I am surprised my a/c was still working. The amount of dust and dirt covering the outside vent was unbelievable. The serviceman thoroughly cleaned it and also found a few coils were leaking freon and he repaired them and added more freon. He was exceptionally neat and also cleaned the furnace area. I couldn't have been more pleased. He was so great I immediately asked about the service agreement. I will never use anyone but Assurance Htg. & A/C in Glenview. They deserve an A+++

Technician was there on a Friday night after flooding. Part was not available until Monday. Technician showed up Monday got everything fixed. Very responsive when I asked for documentation for insurance company. Only issue I have is that they charge full price for travel to the job. I got charged approximately a 1.5 hour's worth of travel even though the shop is about 10 minutes away. At $99/hr, a bit steep.

They're the most most professional, reasonable HVAC I've worked with over the past two years.

I've had assurance out several times over the years to clean and service my HVAC and they've always been professional, friendly and fair with their pricing.

I have them out two times a year for a fall and spring check up unless I have any problems in between. They're professional, pleasant and trustworthy.

Inspection, estimating, and execution were very professional. Original quote did not include replacing 25 year old furnace, but they made a good case for moving on to a more efficient unit. Provided imaginative solutions for a very tight space.

As part of the buyer of my townhouse's inspection, the purchaser requested my very old water heater be replaced. The location was on the second floor in a very tight area near the furnace and washer dryer. Assurance was able to come out withnt 24 hours to give me an estimate (whihc i neede dfor negotating purposes) and then was able to replace the water heater in 2 days. The service folks were very friendly and called when they were on their way. They used drop cloths, etc without me having to ask. It was a very efficient process and even though i thought their pricing was 5% higher - it was worth it. Everyone spoke English and proper invoices/business forms were used.

Surveyed the site, provided quick qoute for budgetary purposes. Made engineering recommendations. Provided permit application drawings. Installed and followed up on operation.

I have used them for many years. I have been happy with them. I think we have a service contract with them so we pay them what we are supposed to pay according to the contract. They come out a couple of times in a year. They do the job. They come when they say they are going to come. I have no problems with them.

I have used this company for years but only for having my HVAC serviced annually. I had never needed them for repair until the other day. My furnace was not heating when I woke up the other morning when it was well below freezing. I called and talked to one of the schedulers and she tried to trouble shoot over the phone - it worked temporarily. So I called back 15 minutes later and got an appointment for a service visit that afternoon. They were swamped due to the cold weather and could not come out first thing - the second scheduler was not very patient and rather flipant about the fact that it was a busy day - she would not give me a time frame other than "after noon". I made the appointment but I also called several other companies trying to get someone to come out earlier because I was going out of town for a funeral but no one had any earlier appointments. I called back and ended up talking to the first gal I spoke with that morning and she said she would call me when the service man was on his way - she did and even informed me that he was in bad traffic and told me she would update me if things ran later. The service man came out around 2:30 and after several hours and several times that we thought things were working (I actually had to call the office to get him to come back because he had left - things worked for about 30 minutes and then stopped) - he diagnosed the circuit board to be on its way out (it would run for maybe 20 -30 minutes and then stop). It was a Friday and by now it was after 5. He did not have the part in his truck and the stores were not open. He called the office and they had no appointments to help me on Saturday. He volunteered to come out if he could not find someone to help me. He called one of his co-workers and his co-worker ended up coming out Saturday morning and finished the job. He usually does not work residential but was working that day because of the havoc that the frigid temps had caused. The service men are wonderful and kind. They really went out of their way to make sure I had heat - he even gave me his cell number to call him on Saturday morning. The second service man stayed to make sure that it was the circuit board that was the issue because he knew I was leaving town and if the furnace stopped working then there was a good chance that the pipes would freeze since the temperature was not going to rise above 20 over the weekend. They both made sure that the work was completed to my satisfaction and they did not overcharge for their time - even though they were in my house more than an hour. They either cover their shoes with shoe covers or switch into different shoes that have not been outside whenever they come to my home. They left my home in the condition that they found it and they were patient in explaining what had happened and how they had fixed it. I would not use anyone else thanks to this experience - they won me as a customer for life.

They did what was expected. They showed up on time and were professional. The furnace they provided is adequate and I have had no problems since they put it in. They suggested a different location for the furnace and they figured out how to make it more accessible which I am very grateful for.

Ron came out to conduct the inspection, as he has during the previous 2 years. He is very thorough and personable; a pleasure to work with. I have not used Assurance for any major installation or repair, but have never had a problem with their annual inspection/cleaning services.

Laslo was a great technician. He was very attentive and answered all of my questions more than adequately. He was also very efficient and gave some good tips on how to improve efficiency.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS A REAL SWEETIE. HE DID NOT MAKE ME FEEL SILLY FOR NOT NOTICING THE FLIPPED SWITCH ON OUR THERMOSTAT. IN FACT, HE WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING, AND ALSO QUITE HELPFUL, BECAUSE HE POINTED OUT THAT WE WERE USING POOR QUALITY FILTERS, AND HE WROTE DOWN THE NAME AND MODEL NUMBER OF A BETTER FILTER. HE ALSO WAS VERY FRIENDLY, AND HE EVEN OFFERED TO MEASURE THE TEMPERATURE OF THE CHICKEN THAT I WAS ROASTING, TO TEST FOR DONENESS, BECAUSE HE SAW THAT I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH HIS LASER THERMOMETER. NOTE: EACH VISIT WAS $60, SINCE WE HAVE A POLICY WITH AMERICAN HOME SHIELD, WHICH COVERS OUR APPLIANCES. THEY SENT ASSURANCE OUT.

THEY MISSED THE APPOINTMENT BECAUSE IT WAS LOST IN THEIR RECORDS. I HAD TO RESCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENT WITH MY TENANT AND ASSURANCE. THIS WASTED MY TENANT'S TIME AND MY TIME. IN ADDITION, THIS RESULTED IN A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH MY TENANT THAT MAY NEGATIVELY IMPACT THEIR DECISION TO RENEW THEIR LEASE. THIS IS THE SECOND APPOINTMENT IN 12 MONTHS THAT ASSURANCE MISSED. IN ADDITION, I WAS CHARGED FOR A REPAIR THAT WAS CAUSED BY PREVIOUS WORK DONE BY ASSURANCE.

I RECEIVED GOOD SERVICE AND ADVICE FROM THEIR ESTIMATOR. WE WERE INITIALLY ONLY GOING TO INSTALL THE HUMIDIFIER, BUT DECIDED TO REPLACE THE FURNACE AND WATER HEATER WITH HIGH EFFICIENCY MODELS. THEY WERE ABLE TO INCLUDE THAT WORK ON THE INSTALLATION DATE WITH ONLY A COUPLE OF DAYS ADVANCE NOTICE. THE INSTALLERS WERE CLEAN AND COURTEOUS. HOWEVER, DURING THE NEXT SUMMER'S FIRST STIFLING HEAT WAVE WE LEARNED THAT THEY HAD ALLOWED ALL OF THE FREON TO ESCAPE FROM THE CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONER, AND IT TOOK OVER A WEEK FOR THEM TO COME TO MAKE THE REPAIR DESPITE MY WIFE BEING HEAVILY PREGNANT AT THE TIME. ALSO, THE HUMIDIFIER HAS REQUIRED SEVERAL ADJUSTMENTS TO PREVENT LEAKING INCLUDING FOLLOWING THEIR ANNUAL SERVICING OF IT, AND THE PVC EXHAUST PIPES FOR THE FURNACE BEGAN TO DRIP WATER. DESPITE INITIAL GOOD FEELINGS ABOUT ASSURANCE, TIME HAS SHOWN THAT THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS POOR.

VERY PLEASANT EMPLOYEES. HOWEVER, THE NEW AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT REQUIRED 4 SERVICE CALLS FOR FREON LEAKS, PREVENTING THE AIR-CONDITIONER FROM WORKING WELL. IT WAS FINALLY DETERMINED THAT ANOTHER RETURN WAS REQUIRED TO INCREASE AIR SUPPLY.
