Stockwell Electric

Mr. Stockwell was great about explaining what I needed done. He did not make me feel rushed, and he did not try to sell me a lot of things I did not need. I believe he did a good job, and I would recommend him. I have and will use him again.

Needed a ceiling fan installed in our kitchen. Bought the big deal. It was pre-wired so it was pretty straight forward. It took a few weeks to get on the schedule but I was fine with that. Scott was punctual and professional... I'm happy with my new fan.

This was a change from what we had hoped to do. All through the process he explained what was going on, why he was doing it and what the results would be. He had to cut a few holes in the walls an ceilings to make things work, but he patched up the holes. We will do the final finishing and paint work, which was expected, based on the deal he gave us. All in all, he did a great job, was easy to work with and did what he said he would do. We will use him again.

On more than one appointment schedued, the Stockwell electric did not show or notify me that he would not be coming. However, when I would call to find out what happened, he gave excuse, illness, or would say he tried to call me, but, his name and number was not in my phone as missed calls. Finally, his future scheduling was not convenient for me, and without futher do, he recommended that I put in for a refund. Therefore, for the $99.00 Stockwell electrician, I would like a refund, and would not recommend him.

Scott is very busy so I waited about a month but it was worth the wait. He is very knowledgeable and efficient in his work. He found the problem quickly, repaired it and cleaned the work area. He even caulked my outside connection perfectly. Scott is a very courteous person and easy to get along with. No pretense or fake smile. I feel that I can trust his judgement. Would not hesitate for a second to hire him again. Scott is the type of worker you rarely see but always hope for.

Scott did a great job. I had to wait a month for him to be available, but it was worth it because the holes he needed to make in my ceilings were MUCH smaller than other electrician's quotes. I don't mind waiting for a qualified, diligent contractor and am glad I waited for him. Along with his great ratings the wait also said to me that his services were in (well deserved) demand. Plan ahead and go with Scott. My project turned out exactly like I imagined it would. PS I was also a little nervous because he did his estimate over the phone. I was concerned that the price might change drastically. However, the final price was the exact low end of the quote and I think he is just experienced enough to quote it over the phone because he knows what he is doing.

Scott is great. He's professional, friendly and he got the job done. He was responsive and easy to work with. I'll have him back to do moree work in the future.

Prompt, did not charge more than coupon, although he was there a lettle over the alloted time and may have used some supplies of his own.

They were done in about three days. They left the area real good. I would recommend them.

He did a great job! We thought we would have to replace two ceiling fans but Scott was able to fix the wiring so both units work. He changed out two fixtures and re-wired an existing switch.

Provider did nothing I wasted $99.00.

They cannot do the work in the time frame that I am needing.

He did some work and I guess it was fine. We didn't have two hours worth of work for him to do though. He just left his card with us but that was pretty much it. We didn't realize that he would be done quite that fast. I think we had to reschedule a few times but other than that it was fine when he came out. He knows his stuff, he was in and out.

The electrical wiring in our house is old and was pieced together by the previous owner. Scott worked patiently to try to figure out where all of the wires went and managed to install a box in our wire mesh and plaster ceiling. He explained what he was doing and cleaned up when he was done.

As far as him responding through the website and reaching out to me like it says, I would give him an F. As soon as I reached out to him he did call me back though but they were booked up for a month.

It turned out fine. They did whatever we asked them to do. It's working fine. He had to go get some extra cable at some point because it was just a little short but other than that, it actually went very smoothly.

Unable to purchase deal from company since I purchased one before in the past.

Scott was great - he was on time and worked hard until the job was done. This was a medium-sized project that involved rewiring an entire bathroom and installing four new lights and another electric fixture. The finished result was perfect. I plan to hire him again for subsequent projects.

Fantastic. Very responsive and prompt. Scott is very knowledgeable and answered many "electrical-related" questions as he worked.

This was the Deal - 2 hours of Labor for $99.00. Scott was very responsive- emailed me right away, called me back to set up an appointment, showed up at the proper time - within a very acceptable 15 minute window (always allowing for some uncertainty due to previous jobs) . He did diagnose my problem, didn't try to sell me extra hours at $70/hr, but suggested ways to handle the problem. His diagnosis was spot on, from what I know of electrical work. Scott then checked all other outlets for proper operation and performed a minor repair.

He was punctual, courteous and very professional. He did outstanding work and I would highly recommend him!

They were very responsive in sending me an email within 24 hours after I purchased the Big Deal but unfortunately their schedule is full until April 19.

Responsive to schedule appt and communicate as necessary, timely arrival, completed work as described, angieslist coupon plus extra money for half hour extra of labor plus materials. Good work, no complaints, would use this provider again.
