He came at the day and time scheduled. He completed the job in the time allowed. He took down the old ceiling fixture and installed a new chandelier. He also installed a dimmer. If he had not asked if we wanted a dimmer when I made the appointment, I would not have thought of it. I am very glad that he suggested the dimmer, because our new light fixture is much brighter than the old one. He was very professional and personable. My husband and I are very pleased with the results!

They weren't able to provide the service in the timeframe I needed so I chose not to use them.

Scott performed the diagnosis well. The bulk of the work was outsourced to Allstate Electric, and they did a good job. No show for first appointment was the only demerit.

The work was done very well and he was able to get a lot done in the 3 hours he was here. 2 outlets were installed and some additional wiring was run for wall mounted TVs. One small negative came up when he did not have nail plates that were necessary to finish the job. It is not standard to need these for this type of job, but due to my setup they were needed. I had to run out and get them.. I did not consider this a huge deal since he was able to work while I was away, but I had asked prior to the job if I would need any materials and he said that he had everything needed.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for two hours of electrical work. He installed a ceiling fan in a bedroom, added an electrical outlet in the dining room and checked ceiling fixtures in the kitchen. Didn't exceed the two hours, and did good work. When he was running late he called well in advance to alert me and give me a new time, but he ended up arriving earlier. Left the work site clean.

Great deal. Scott went and purchased supplies, and we decided to ask him to stay and complete even more projects that day. Very nice guy.

Scott was appropriately early and got down to work quickly and continued to do so throughout his visit. Acclimated himself easily to the state of electrical system in our old (1906) home that was re-wired in 2012 and has a Unity "smart-home" system in place. Had parts on hand to make a fixture work with existing old structure and charged reasonable extra fee. Went over time (we had a two-hour coupon) without issue and charged nominal amount for the extra. Crammed three projects into two hours time - I would have spent an entire day getting all those things done and only if everything worked perfectly the first try. Don't be thrown by his cordial, professional demeanor in the beginning - he IS a nice guy, just wants to get going on the work right away to make best use of his time and not there to schmooze you. I'll be using him again for the many small projects we have and I"ll be paying his normal rate happily. An Angie's List coupon that works out perfectly!

Scott was great. He left no stone unturned in getting to the bottom of the problem, and fixed everything satisfactorily. He even showed me what went wrong and why, and gave me tips on fixing things myself. He also offered to talk me through any other questions I might have over the phone. Great guy, great service.

We purchased a big deal for the service, and it was awesome. He was fabulous, on time and professional. He was the cheapest, and he was upfront about everything. He also gave me estimates on other work that I wanted done.

Fixing the closet light went smoothly. It was a fairly simple job to replace the fixture. We were angered with his response towards the outside work, particularly the deck lighting. He make the deck lighting seem like such a big deal - obviously not wanting to do it. We were specific in our original email that repair of the deck lights was something we needed done. If he didn't want to do that he should have been honest and upfront about it at the start. We waited 2 weeks for an appointment with him. Obviously, had he been upfront, we likely would've looked for another electrician, but may have considered Stockwell for other electrical work in our home in the future. But not now. He did do a very small job for which we'd give him an A. We're unclear if the $75.00 cost for replacing the closet light fixture is fair - he did have to go purchase the fixture as well, but although he was here about an hour or so, it seems like most of his time was spent discussing the outdoor work. Based upon his lack of interest in the outdoor work and not being upfront about the low level deck lights we overall have to give him a grade of D.

Would recommend Scott. He's a really nice guy and It was easy to make an appointment over email, he called when running ~20 min late and when he didn't have a part to fix my outlet, he ran out quickly and bought it.

Excellent. Good and punctual communications, clear expectations and need for purchasing supplies prior to arrival, arrived early, performed all tasks within allocated time. Knowledgeable of service and kept me informed of progress and issues.

He was great. Very human, funny and kind.

It went very well. He was very good. I liked him and he was very professional. Price was fine; I would not have done it if it had been expensive. If I was still in the area, I would use them again.

The ceiling fan rattles, he somehow put a chip in an antique bed that we just had painted, he broke a piece off the ceiling fan (decorative piece), he left smudges on the ceiling and walls of a freshly painted room, he tried to charge us more, he had to come back a second time because he forgot parts the first time, and then when asked to fix the rattle he said he just couldn't figure it out and walked out. Need I say more.

Excellent. Scott was prompt, courteous and professional. Will not hesitate to use him in the future or recommend him to others.

Scott was a real trooper! Scott tried 5 different ways to install this outlet, but at every turn there was a stud or vent in his way. Originally, I wanted this outlet to have its own Amp just in case I was using a hairdryer in the bathroom. This could not be accomplished. Scott was very professional and persevered through this adversity. Scott even broke 2 drill bits in his attempt to drill through a stud. The outlet was installed exactly where I instructed and it looks fabulous.

We now are enjoying front lighting , deck lighting and basement lighting that needed repair for quite a while. We are definitely going to give Scott more business as soon as I get the parts for the other two fixes. He was very punctual and professional. No attitude at all, which I have experienced with past electricians. He is a consummate professional and very helpful.

One of the circuit breakers was turned off during the updating of the GFI outlet which the electrician never checked or tested before leaving the job site. Apparently that breaker "burned out" during the update which left me with NO electrical service in my only bathroom...No lighting whatsoever, no hair blower, no fan, etc. I notified the electrician within 20 minutes of his leaving , but he could/would not return that day or the next so I was without any electricity in that area for a couple of days until he returned to repair it at no additional charge. The pricing was GREAT; but at what real cost to me? His reluctance do what it took to right a wrong in a timely fashion was unacceptable.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. I spent an additional $140. He did good quality work.

Great experience. Scott is a total professional. I called him 2 weeks ago, and we set up an appointment. He arrived on time and performed all desired work. He only charged $85 (2-hour rate) even though he spent 2.5 hours on the job. I will definitely use Scott for future electric work.

Scott was running late (we asked for a late afternoon appointment) but called to let us know ahead of time. He diagnosed the problem immediately, repaired it and then chatted with my neighbor who coached Little League with him. Great to have him on our list of trusted professionals.
