Stockwell Electric

He was very neat, clean and professional. He is a model contractor; it went just the way one would hope. He did not charge extra for the extra work that was not explicitly stated in the deal. He said he allots 2 hrs for the deal and seemed happy to help. I am happy with his work and I’ve already recommended him to some friends.

Took many weeks to get appointment and then didn't show (despite email confirmation on their end). Was able to reschedule for later same day.

there was a previous ceiling fan so the installation should have been easy. However the previous electrician had taken shortcuts when installing the switch and this provider, Stockwell Electric, had to go the extra mile and cut back some metal and plaster to make sure that the electrical box fit well in the wall. The repair went beyond the two hours of electrical repairs that I purchased, he also had to replaster a little to finish the job, but the added time and money was reasonable and I was happy with the changes. He was very professional and considerate in cleaning up and I would call him again.

Mr. Stockwell did refer me to an electrician that was excellent. I will definitely go back to the referral.

He did a great job. He even came out once before this service and we had bought the wrong product--he came back another time to do the installation and didn't charge us for the first visit at all, which was really nice.

Scott is great. First, he takes safety very seriously. He was very good at assessing the problem and the possible solutions and then working with me to decide the most efficient but safe route to getting the job done. Great guy, very professional and very nice. Will definitely use his again for future projects.

It went quite well. The provider was early (which is very unusual) and moved at a quick pace to get all the little electrical jobs I needed done accomplished within the agreed upon timeframe. He fixed everything and even provided insight and recommendations regarding why some of the electrical issues had happened and how to not have them happen again. He even offered to fix my front door handle on the way out. I would use again for another job.

Great. Fast, efficient and friemdly

My feeling is that perhaps the work I requested, a second switch to control a stairway light and running 2 outlets to a sunroom, was too small for him to bother. That it could be completed in the two hours of labor that I had purchased, and he would not make additional cash at $65 per hour.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it all worked out fine. He came when he was scheduled to, and he did the work that he was asked to do, and it all worked out fine. I was very happy with it. It went exactly as I hoped it would. I was happy with the price of the big deal.

It went really well. There was a bit of confusion in the morning as I missed his phone call. Since I didn't pick up my phone, he did what anyone would do he left.. I caught him at the right time when he was about to get on the highway. He actually turned around came back and finished the job. He did an excellent job. We love our new chandelier!! Thanks Scott!!

The service turned out fine. The guy that came out was prompt and has reasonable price.

Stockwell came later than he had said, after I thought he was not coming he called saying he was on his way. He got right to work. I had purchased a big deal certificate for 2 hours at 85.00. He had to leave during the job to go get a part he did not have with him. I had old wireing in the garage and he replaced it with new pipe and wires and a new switch. the job took an extra hour and half. I was charged an additional 80.00 dollars for the parts and time minus the time to go out for the part. He did a great job and cleaned up nicely.

was punctual and professional. wired for new outlet in office. Seemed to want to keep things simple, which was ok with me. Asked questions to ensure he was providing what I wanted. End product is what I asked for.

It was pretty well. The result was fine, I think the person who came over was the sole proprietor. I had some trouble with the existing wiring and he had to rearrange some of the installation. He did a nice job, he finished it up and not everything was perfect but we understand that we have some issues while he was working with it.

Went well, would use him again. We have an old house and he understood the electrical system, which was helpful.

Extremely Professional , very knowledgable , but if you are looking for speedy service per task that you will not get with Scott for there are a few limitations physically but i would use him again because of professionalism. Overall my experience with booking wasnt great in the beginning , but once we connected he was on time and punctual. Very Satisfied and soon to be repeat customer!

Very professional and courteous. The switches and outlets to be installed were non-traditional, so there were some understandable issues given the age of our condo (1920s era) that took longer than a simple install. Will certainly consider again for future work.

They were very efficient and prompt. He was very thorough as well. I was very pleased with both ceiling fans he put up.

I used the Angie's List Big Deal for Stockwell Electric to do a ceiling light repair. The light had stopped working but the fan was operational. The technician was able to easily swap out the damaged light for a new light kit with ease. He even arrived early. I was very pleased with the overall experience. Definitely worth the cost.

I was unable to use the deal because they don't service my area.

The chandelier installation went well although he had some trouble identifying which switches controlled the chandelier vs. the ceiling fan. He eventually got it however and it looks good and works well. The part I am disappointed in is the wiring in the laundry room. We had a new AC and furnace installed and the installer left a bunch or wiring hanging loose. I took pictures and sent them to Stockwell before his visit and he told me it would be no problem to hide the wiring and make it up to code. When he actually got here and saw it, he told me that since it was low voltage wiring, there was no code, but he would try to hide the wires. Needless to say, he did not do much of anything for this and the wiring is still hanging loose where my little kids could reach and grab it. I am disappointed in this work from him. He basically did not complete the job I had for him and as I said, I sent him multiple pictures of the wiring 2 weeks ahead of his appointment. I am now going to hire another electrician to come in and hide the wiring for us.
