It went fine, communication was all through Angie's list. However, because of the overwhelming Big Deals response, they were not able to start & complete the work within the alotted two week time frame I needed. I'm sure they would have been a great company to use. But I found another company (Kingslow Smith, Inc) who was able to do the job for me. Thanks, Sandy

They were very professional and knowledgeable.

It was okay. He did the job. I wasn't real crazy with his attitude. The first thing he said when he came in was "well, I come to do this job myself because if I have one of men come, I have to pay him for 2 hours and I can do this in just a short time." It took him 25 minutes. But, I had bought a 2 hour electrician for $95 so I thought, well I'm not going to ask him to do anything else because he'll probably be kind of pissed or something. He was putting a plate back on and he said to me "was this plate broken?" and I go no and he said "well it is now" and he plumped it down in the countertop and he said "what did you pay for this?" and I go "I don't know, probably $15", then he put a $20 bill down and said "you got 5?" and I said yes I do. Then he goes "well sorry about that". He took care of it but it was just his attitude. I would probably not use them again, I would choose someone else.

The experience was one of the best ever with a contractor. He was punctual, well equipped, courteous, , knowledgeable , professional and wonderful to work with. He tied up and rewired three boxes which had been improperly grounded. He patiently checked many outlets and traced the wiring back. Offering advice and possible solutions where the wires had been covered with drywall. He secured a cable in a very small and hard to reach enclosure. When the time had expired, he continued to work and finish the task because he said it would bother him to leave it . He even explained to me how to install the canister for several ceiling lights and lent me his tools to make it easier. I most assuredly will call him for more jobs and future electrical issues. A+++

He was pretty good to work with. He was very efficient and I got an appointment right away. He explained everything that he was going to do to me. Over all, I was very happy with my experience with him.

Indicated that the replacement I purchased would not work. Instead attempted to install a used one from his vehicle. When the one from his vehicle didn't work, he used the new one that I purchased (the same one that he initially stated would not work). The outlet now works Seems like two hours to replace two outlets was an excessively long time.

Scott was flexible in scheduling the appointment time as only certain times worked for me due to work. He arrived on time and after reviewing the existing electrical infrastructure provided me with specific options for the job and the various pluses and minuses. The installation job looks professional and everything has worked as expected for the last month without any issues. Scott was friendly and would definitely work Stockwell Electric with again.

Arrived on time started work immediately,

We purchased some basic track lighting from Home Depot. Scott called to discuss equipment with us & make sure he understood the project. We scheduled a weekday while I was working from home & Scott was here for about 3.5 hours. We discussed options on where the lights would be placed & he gave his recommendations. The final product looks amazing & we are so happy to have the additional light in the room. I haven't had a chance to repaint the walls where he put the small holes, but he patched everything and provided instructions on finishing the job!

Scott was extremely knowledgable and explained everything clearly. He did a variety of household electrial work inside my home. He brought up suggestions for the future. He is easy to work with, friendly and arrived on time. He also left everything cleaned. I would definitely hire him again.

Scott is timely, professional, and does a great job. He doesn't overcharge or make up bogus fees, and tends to round down in the customer's favor, which is the opposite of what most service providers do. I'll be hiring him again soon for additional work.

Thanks to Scott, we know that the work was done correctly and will not be a safety hazard and now we finally have a working outlet in the bathroom! We will absolutely contact Stockwell Electric again!!!

When he first got here I told him what I needed done, he then went to his truck and spent 15-20 minutes just moseying around. I finally went outside to see what he was doing and when I shut the door he got up and started to act busy. The first outlet took him about 35 minutes to complete. When I asked him to replace the second outlet he said he could start on it but wouldn't have time to finish it. He said he noticed the button on our doorbell was not working and he could replace that within the allotted time. He left to go to Home Depot for about 40 minutes and came back and shoved a receipt for $9.00 in my face. When I said I thought that would be included he said "you're done" and stormed out of the door. The doorbell took maybe 10-15 minutes for him to replace. The outlet he DID replace was a used outlet he was going to charge me $27.00 for, I was shocked he was going to charge me for the outlet in the first place but when I asked about a senior discount I saw his company offered he said fine I'll give it to you. He asked for some cleaning solution and wiped off the dirty "recycled" outlet he had in the truck and said "here's your senior discount". He never even gave me a written receipt.

It went well, but not great. They actually scratched my wood flooring with their ladder, and no action was taken to correct this (I don't think they realized it happened). The installation ended up going OK, but one lamp is a little crooked.

He was fine to work with, did a fine job. He was on time and met my expectations.

He did a good, quick job of getting my lights working but I was uncomfortable with the fact that he had no truck , no uniform, no badge to identify who he was and what company he represented. Except for his bag of tools he had no equipment not even a ladder to reach the light.

I was blessed that Scott figured out the dining room outlet problem and took the time and considerable effort to fix it. The outlet was burned to a crisp and the whole arrangement took considerable trouble and time to fix. I considered myself luck not to have had a fire, and I promised Scott always to hire a licenses electrician to do any work.

When I spoke to him on the phone, he was nice. The technician asked me to take pictures of the work I wanted done in my home. I sent him the pictures through email and then he requested more pictures of the job. I never heard back from him after that so I requested a refund through Angie’s List.

He did a thorough check of the electrical and the dishwasher. he also changed a bathroom fixture.
