Arrived as scheduled and did the work as requested.

He showed up on time, was very amiable, had no problem with the job that was a bit bigger than originally expected, and solved it all within the time period of the two hour deal (lucky me)! I'd definitely work with him again. He originally had me scheduled for the end of August (a few weeks away from when I made the request!) but I was patient and he actually was able to squeeze me in two weeks early.

Stockwell Electric has experienced a very large number of orders from this deal and is unable to provide service until over three weeks from the time we made our request.

Scott was very apologetic and most helpful in referring me to contractors that may be able to help me.

It went well but he did charge me $75 more because of problems that I could not confirm but I trust him to be telling the truth since I used him a couple of times now.

I PAID FOR THE SERVICE THRU ANGIE'S LIST B4 I CALLED THE PROVIDER (I WILL NOT DO THAT AGAIN). AFTER I CALLED THE PROVIDER TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD SCHEDULE ME FOR THE MIDDLE OF AUGUST. THEY STATED THAT SO MANY PEOPLE FROM ANGIE'S LIST TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE SPECIAL, THAT THEY HAD TO SPREAD OUT THE LOSS OF HOURLY LABOR OVER A PERIOD OF TIME. THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME! I WOULDN'T USE THEIR SERVICE AGAIN, AND I HOPE THEY ARE NEVER REFERRED TO ME EITHER.

The electrician was prompt and friendly and the 1st hall light install went well. As the job progressed the electrician mentioned he was injured so his helper would do the jobs. It became clear the helper was not very competent with the main electrician sharply correcting his helper several times. The 2nd light was more complicated as it was mounted on the bath mirror. Because of the electrician's concerns I removed the original light taking my time to not disturb the mirror. The helper proceed to install the new fixture. All was well until he tightened too much and cracked the 3 1/2 foot tall mirror. Provider was honorable with getting the mirror replaced but never came back to install the light! Weeks of hassle with no completion. Don't take the jobs unless you can bring your A game! This was an ORDEAL not a DEAL!

It was okay. He took two weeks before he responded to my call and he was not on time when he came. He had had some surgery done so he was a little bit slow with the pace. It wasn't a great experience but in the end, the job was done. I thought the way that he talked was completely unnecessary and low class. He seemed to have a bone to pick with me and I don't know why. He didn't have experience with so many fixtures. All in all, he's not someone I would recommend. He installed the light switch upside down and he had to come back and fix it right. The prices were competitive.

Installation and service went well. As a home owner with no electrical knowledge, I was interested in what was being done and why. The provider, Scott, had no problem explaining things to me, so I understood what was being done. I learned a lot.

Supplier called to say he could not do the work until after August 1st. We are selling the house on 7-31 and need the work done before that. He was nice enough to give me another vendor to call

Scott was great to work with and very fair. We will use him again.

When I contacted him he said that he was completely swamped and unavailable.

It worked out great. It took about 2 weeks to get them scheduled as they were backed up. The work was great and they showed up on time. The cleanup was perfect and they also put drop-cloth down while they were working.

Despite published hours of service, they do not work evening or weekend hours. having a hard time getting money refunded by Angie's List. Extremely unhappy for having wasted my time and money.

Prompt, professional, friendly and completed the installation in the allotted 2 hour time.

The company was fast to respond, returned my call quickly, and was apologetic that they were booked until July 7th. Was very nice to communicate with, I just needed service done lot sooner. Went well otherwise.

One of the most positive contractor experiences I have ever had. Punctual, well-priced, and very polite/courteous. Would recommend to anyone and will use again.

Wanted 2 T-8 fixtures installed. A good finish would require carpentry. Scott would install them if I insisted but recommended alternatives. Provided guidance as to best way to proceed. He would have rescheduled but I already had a ceiling fan/light I needed installed to replace existing fixture. Work completed in the 2 hours alloted. Ddemonstrated operation and explained how the fixture was installed. Work area left clean.

I bought the big deal and then found out he cannot work weekends or evenings. I have a full time job and it just didn't work out.

I spoke with Scott regarding replacement of 4 lights in my closets. Since there is a special coupon for 2 hours of electrical work, I got the impression that he was very busy and was booked through the middle of July. That being said, he does not do work on the week-ends and during the week only until 5PM. I asked him how is everyone able to schedule an appointment during the week with working during the day. He said that people work later in the evening. What? Plus he will not schedule an appointment after 2PM. I am a nurse in a hospital and I can not leave work early like some other businesses that have more flexibility. The earliest I could get home was 3PM because of starting my shift at 6AM. He did not make any effort to try to help me out and told me in a not so nice tone of voice "that there are other electricians out there." I did not like his attitude at all. This is the 2nd person I have tried to get on angies list to do electrical work for me. I am in the process of trying to get an electrician for the 3rd time

We had several small projects to do which could have been costly. He diagnosed the problems, and in one instance made a large project much smaller. He was very methodical and thorough and explained what he was doing. For our future projects, he explained what was involved, so we could take that into consideration as we decide how to proceed. We have larger projects on our to do list, and will be calling Stockwell Electric!

It took some time for the provider to get to me because of his schedule but he did keep in touch with me and we worked it all out. He did a great job and was very professional

They did an overall good job. However, the owner arrived with his son (a college graduate in engineering, but not an electrician). The owner had had shoulder surgery recently and was unable to do some of the work, so he brought his son along to help. Because he was having to give detailed directions to his son on what to do, the job seemed to take longer than it should have. He then was going to charge us for the extra time it took for the installation. When we questioned the time it should have taken, he took some money off of the cost, but it was still not quite what we had expected.

It was hard to get him to come out, but the work turned out fine.
