He was friendly. He was helpful. He let me know how to fix the problem in the future. I would highly reccommendly.

They did everything I needed and even repaired some issues from another company. I had them upgrade the switch for an electric dryer and repair wiring for an AC unit. The technician was very quick and efficient. He did not charge me for parts since he completed the job so quickly. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Scott was great to deal with.....he took the time to discuss the job scope ahead of time, which allowed him to hit the ground running when he arrived at my home. I also appreciated that, since there was some time left after repairing the outlets and switches, he subsequently repaired a loose ceiling fan--saving me the trouble of going up and tearing it apart!! My only caveat--and this is solely a bi-product of Scott's success and reputation--he tends to get booked heavily, so factor in some lead time when scheduling a date.....which he's very upfront about when you speak with him.

It went well, but another company had to come back out later and fix what they had done.

Good communication from the start. Scott arrived early and called to make sure that would be OK. He corrected a shoddy electrical setup near the sump pit and put the outlet on its own breaker. While working, Scott pointed out an unsafe connection that he was able to correct separate from the original task. Scott also switched out a dimmer switch for me and it was all done in 2 hours that I used the big deal for. Minor charge for some parts and overall Scott is a nice guy that knows his stuff. Would recommend his services.

Scott was at my house twice. On his first visit he could not complete the job because of an emergency. It was 2 weeks later before he could return. Because I was not home for the second visit, a friend let him in. He was insulting about being paid saying he would charge for a half hour of his time to come pick up the check. (Mind you, his initial payment was made...approximately $375.00). My friend left him a check for $210.00, taking his estimate for the time required to complete the project. I found his demeanor offensive and unprofessional. I will allow that the work he completed was completed satisfactorily, but his social skills were indeed lacking.

Scott tested and labeled wires in order to install a switch for my living room light and ceiling fan.

He arrived on time and had the requisite materials for the job. He was responsive, appropriate, and professional. He demonstrated competence and understanding of his craft by virtue of his ability to complete the fixes in a timely manner. The living room light fixture was sort of tricky, and appeared to be more than one-person job.

The provider said he could not complete the work until after March 25 as he works by himself and is booked up to that period. I needed the work done as soon as possible.

My first experience with Angie's list, I purchased a coupon from Stockwell for 2 hours of electric service for $95. The coupon specifically stated that they would hang a light fixture. I gave him dates and details - a 6 light chandelier that was 50-60 lbs. He stated that he could not handle such a fixture b/c of shoulder surgery -why would you place such a coupon? Then he referred me to someone else with a "good luck". Of course the other guy would do the job for 3x the price - classic. BTW the other guy didn't want to do it even at $300-said he would put me on the schedule and never even called back. Did I mention the wiring on box and fixture are all new - a simple installation. finally he never refunded the coupon I bought for $95 was a total scam

Very flexible, he allowed us to buy the parts, but he also had parts to complete the job. Today, was a cold day, and he worked with the elements. Provided advice on how to address other issues in the home.

There was a fast response time however he had advised me that it would be 3-4 weeks before they could get to me for service.

Servicer didn't work in my area.

He was friendly and professional. Did a great job.

He said he was too busy to even talk to me and schedule the work. I never had the work done.

Stockwell Electric Have you made sure that the direction flow button on the motor housing is not in the middle. If it is, the fan motor Thank you. Your recommendation proved to be accurate. My wife had went up to clean the fan and blades earlier and inadvertently "flipped" the button. The fan now works properly. Thank you again for your suggestion that fixed the problem. I will also acknowledge your help on Angie's List and most certainly keep you in mind for future electrical work.

Scott from Stockwell Electric was on time and went the extra yard of coming out on a Saturday before Super Bowl weekend so we could have power during the Super Bowl. He had all of the extra electrical parts needed on him which prevent a time wasting trip to Home Depot and he was very reasonable and worked with me on a plan that worked. Very experienced electrician.

They showed up on time and everything went fine.

That was a fine experience. He did do good work for us and the service was fine. We hired him to fix the light in the kitchen. We thought that there was a circuit issue as the switch wasn’t working. The problem ended up being a problem in the dimmer switch. Originally, we had hoped to add some overhead lighting in our downstairs dining area but the kitchen issue came up and we decided to use the deal for that problem instead.

He installed light fixture over the kitchen sink. Everything went great. I did not feel that it took him the entire two hours for this installation.

I am so glad we called Scott for the job. He was professional, punctual, and he completed the work above and beyond my expectations and with a lower price that I expected. I had two quotes from other electricians who told me that we would have to patch our ceiling when they were done. This would have added hundreds of dollars on to the work. Scott worked very hard to find a way to hang the lights with no damage to our ceiling. He charged an excellent price, and cleaned up after himself. He was so nice to my little girls and even let them help him with hanging the glass on the chandelier. He's a great guy, and and great electrician. We will only use him in future!
