I couldn't be happier. Walter and his son, Daniel - who handles the quoting and lead the team for my project, were very responsive and everything was handled efficiently and with great professionalism. The team showed up on time each day and the paint job was very well done within 1.5 days. Daniel even took care of a couple small areas that required painting, outside of the quoted areas, at no additional charge. The team is very experienced and reasonably priced. I'll definitely give Daniel & Walter another call for future painting needs.

Walter gave me a fair estimate for painting 2br condo in the city, discussed details over text, scheduled next week and informed me the job will most likely be done the same day. He arrived timely with his crew of 4 (5 total, including him and his son Dan) asked me to walk over the condo and let the team know what I need done. He mentioned two closets would be extra to paint and gave me a fair estimate on those. I left for work, came back in the afternoon after receiving the "we'll be done in an hour" call. I inspected their work, was very satisfied with the paintwork and cleanliness of the condo afterwards. Walter is a no BS, straight up paint contractor that does what he tells you properly, nothing more nothing less. I appreciate that. I also like working with family businesses, so double bonus right there.

Provider arrived on time with a crew of 4 painters, this was part of an Angies List deal, they got to work right away, painting job was overall very good, although at times I felt that they were rushing to get the job done quickly. They did ended up painting an extra area around the closets which originally I had not mentioned when I called so for that I think they deserve an A rating. They cleaned everything very well.

The painters did a very very good jobs and finish on times as schedule

We had a lot of communication related to what I wanted, colors, the square footage, the areas including ceiling. I was also able to change my color last minute ( a few days before), which I really appreciate. They had no issue painting high walls and ceilings. On the day of service they arrived on a timely basis - we reviewed everything we had discussed with the 5 painters that arrived. And I must say they completed 2500 square feet in 6 hours ( wow). We did a walk through when everything was complete at that time everything seemed fine.

Simply said: I would not use this provider! I purchased a deal for $1K to paint 1800 sq feet worth of rooms. Walter and two other men came in and I made the mistake of allowing them to work in my home while I was at work. I said I would be home in the early afternoon and he said they would be there until 3pm, so there was no need to leave a key. When I returned home at 2:30 I came home to an empty house with the front door unlocked! I immediately called Walter. His response when I told him the door was unlocked was "well, I wasn't the last to leave." (He and his men were the only ones in the home that morning.) Not a response you would expect from an owner of a company. I think an appropriate response would have been "I'm very sorry. Let me look into what happened." To add insult to injury, during this conversation, the phone service dropped the call, however, unbeknownst to the fair Walter, I could still hear him. He yelled to one of his men " Did you leave the door open.... this broad is yelling at me now." Classy to boot. Putting that issue aside, I called him back and turned the conversation to the quality of the work done. I noticed that there was paint on my internal stairs where the wall cuts into the stairs. It looked sloppy and I wanted to know if there was anything that could be done to fix it. He insisted that there was old paint on the stairs and he painted over it. I'm not a professional painter, but I doubt that's considered best practice. He then said in order for him to fix that, it would be a separate billable job! He was also offended that I questioned his work and told me "I have painted around nicer wood than what you have." Finally, I noticed that there was a significant amount of paint left over after the job. He gave me very specific instructions that a 400 sq foot space would require 1 gallon of paint, and that two coats would be applied, therefore, 2 gallons for each room. After surveying the remaining paint, I noticed that only one can of paint was used for each bedroom, telling me, he only put one coat of paint on. So in short, I suppose the old adage applies, you get what you pay for. However, I thought $1K would buy me a bit more than a security issue in my home, a one coat job, sloppy at that, and having to experience such a complete lack of professionalism. I am confident you can find other providers who can offer a good price, a good product and a good level of professionalism and good service- my advice- keep looking!

Best Price Quote (out of total of 4, All from Angies list) Quick (he got everything done in one day, others quoted one week) Professional (his team was respectful of our home and cleaned up nicely when done) Patent with me, (I asked many questions, as this was the first time I hired a contractor) He helped patch some spots that my husband and I did not notice in a room he was fixing water damaged dry wall. He did this Knowing that my husband and I were going to paint that room ourselves latter. It meant a lot to us that he took that extra step for us.

Was very efficient very professional and I was very impressed with his demeanor and his company. He was spot on time and very understanding as to what our needs were. Although we did not choose Walter and his Company in the and I would recommend that you give him a try.

I was especially impressed with the care Walter took walking the team through the work to be done, explaining what should be patched, prepped, etc. He also explained the importance of caring for our furniture and other belongings, making sure the team not only painted well but left things in good order when the were finished. I hired them to do additional work and they did a great job. I will definitely hire them again and recommend Premium Home Improvement to my friends.

We've used Premium Home Improvement twice for interior painting. They are prompt, efficient, and very professional. I have two young kids who need to nap at various times during the day. Daniel was very courteous and respectful of our schedule, and worked with me to get the job done efficiently with as little disruption to my kids as possible. They do a great job, and we would use them again in the future.

Came early, worked hard, brought the right paint colors and finished sooner than I anticipated. I was not even present for the majority of the work performed.

My daughter was here when they came and she said they were very efficient and professional. The painting they did was top notch. I would definitely use them again if I needed any interior painting done.

They worked without a break and finished early. Rather than leaving, they asked if there was other painting I might want. I scurried around and found 4 or 5 minor painting jobs in areas which I had not noticed beforehand. They eagerly tackled these jobs. I am completely satisfied with their job as was the rest of my family. The two painters were not only nice but they said they enjoyed their work .

Walter is very experienced, professional and easy to work with. Bought a deal through Angie's list which basically covers first floor and second floor hallway. During estimation visit by Walter I decided to have second floor painted too. Price quote for the extra job was reasonable. Took 4 men crew two days to finish the whole house. The overall quality was good except a few drops here and there which are quite hard to remove on white doors or trims. Also if the crew could take some extra time to tape the door frames better, the job would have been perfect. Second job is to hire them to fix couple spots on the ceiling and paint few walls in the house we moved out of. Fixing job was well done. Also asked to have base board painted but it was a bit rushed in the end as it was scheduled to be the last part and it was Friday. Some crew members smoke which I don't object but it is not really professional to smoke in a bathroom even though we don't leave there any more. Also would be much appreciated to put the cigarette butts into trash can. For this I gave 4 star on the professionalism even the crew members are really friendly. Walter was not there this time. Overall I gave 5 star on the experience even though I would love to see a bit more attention on the details.
