THIS PROJECT WENT HORRIBLE. THEY DID A OK JOB OF WHAT THEY PAINTED. WHEN TOLD ABOUT THE MISSING SPACES I WAS TOLD THAT I COULD GO OVER THE TOUCH-UP MYSELF. PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY WERE ALREADY PACKED AND IN THE TRUCK. I HAVE USED ANGIE'S LIST 7 TIMES AND BY FAR THIS IS THE WORST.

It went great. They were in and out in a day, and it was a very professional job. The house looks great. Highly recommended!

We grabbed an Angie's List Big Deal of 2 painters for a day for $399. We received a phone call very promptly from Art, who was more than patient as we worked around our family's crazy schedule. Once we were finally ready, we were scheduled in promptly, given lots of helpful info on picking paint based on our needs, which Art took plenty of time to discuss in detail. On painting day, the two painters (Art's son and another gentleman) arrived exactly on time, and they worked for the full 8 hours, and got everything we needed done. We used them to do the high walls in the stairway (2 story high walls), and in the bedroom that has the high cathedral ceiling. The ones that needed scaffolding! The men did an excellent job...unlike another nationally known paint company we've used, these two did NOT get any paint on our new wood window frames, nor on the wood door frames or baseboards. They did not only a fast, efficient job, but a quality job. We will DEFINITELY use them again...and again!

They showed up one time even though my house is in a newer area and wasn't on one of their GPS's. They right away asked what I wanted them to do. After I showed them what I wanted they got right to work. They work quickly but their work was quality! When they were finished they left the house as clean as when they came.

From my 1st inquiry until he walked out the door, Walter was a pleasure to deal with. We were out-of-state buyers & purchased a house sight unseen. While the previous owner had impeccable taste, the blue wall colors would not match my furniture. I went to Angie's List immediately to find a painter in the area and was impressed by Walter's "big deal" and reviews. He contacted me the same day I sent an email. We discussed my needs and the problem of him getting into the house to do a quote. He believed he could do it from the great pictures the seller's realtor had taken and he called me 2 days later with a (spot-on) quote. We had planned to have the painting done before our household goods were delivered so that his crew could work freely in an empty house. Walter's schedule eventually changed, so he had to work around our stuff. His crew - Ken, Michael & Daniel, along with Walter arrived a few minutes earlier than our appt time. They went to work quickly and completed the entire downstairs (2 coats) in less than 6 hours. The next day, I only had Walter and Daniel, but the two of them finished the entire upstairs, periodically checking in with me to make sure I was pleased. The results were outstanding. When Walter presented me the invoice, I almost fainted. His quote was right on. While it was uncomfortable for me to have strangers in my house for 2 days, Walter & crew were polite, personable and professional. If you have to have work done in your house, you couldn't ask for a better crew. I can't recommend Walter & his crew highly enough. Money & time well spent.

Poor. I had my apprehensions after my first conversation, but was swayed by the reviews on Angie's list. My own personal interaction with the company was completely different. The only positive thing I can say is that their price was the best price I was quoted, but, I ended up going with someone that was more expensive due to lack of communication. The owners response to my kind voicemail of notification of using another company reassured me that I made a good choice of not going with this company.

This was a terrific experience!! This was a different way of doing a job-- instead of coming in and doing a consult then producing a bid, they showed up and worked their butts off for 8 hours. Expert prep--patched and sanded every nail/molly bolt/anchor hole. I didn't expect them to be able to fix my dining room wall issues-- we removed badly-installed 'crown moulding' in the dining room and I was expecting to have to buy a border to cover up the chunks of wall the removal. Personable and Professional Totally cleaned up after themselves. Perfect for someone who knows exactly what they want done and in what color. Need to have every single room 100% ready to go-- everything off the walls and walls vacuumed and clean. Can't wait to use them again!!

They did what they said they would do on time and did a good job. They were responsive and they followed up. Their price was reasonable as well.

Very impressed with the Father/Son team. Polite/Professional/Punctual. Went over expectations before they started then got to work. I hardly noticed they were here. Offer economical suggestions. Would recommend them to anyone.

Walter and his team showed up on time. They were professional and patient. I even changed the paint color on one wall and they repainted it. I will use them again for my painting needs.

He estimated all work beforehand and made sure all my paint choices matched my color samples. Each day we started by going over all work to be done and he made sure he knew everything I wanted done before starting. There were a couple occasions I changed my mind on colors after a wall or trim piece was painted. Walter was very flexible on making any changes I wanted and the final job turned out better than I had hoped. His crew worked hard each day, arrived on time and finished the total job on-time. I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a good painter at a fair price. I plan on using his services again for future projects.

The painters arrived on time as scheduled and completed the work within the alloted time frame. The results were impressive. The painters were professional and everyting went very well. No complaints at all. I would not hesitate to use their services in the future.

I knew it would take more than a day and told him so--describing the job in great detail. It was not just a simple paint job--wall paper had to be removed, lots of window panes to paint, and some plastering on the wall and ceilings. I indicated that it would take more than a day and wanted to know how much it would cost for additional days. At first it sounded as if he didn't do this and I finally suggested that I try to get my money back. He then said that he could do the job. I bought the paint--the most expensive so he would only have to do one coat (I knew that would not be possible and told him so). In addition I had to figure out how much to buy. (Thankfully, the web and my local hardware store solved that problem). The day he arrived there were 4 people (one left almost immediately--he was sick). The next day he sent one person to finish the job. He almost finished it (but was not as careful a painter as the others--I had to touch up the baseboard, finish the closet, and a small part of the wall.) The extra day and the expensive paint drove up the cost and in the future I would prefer to hire someone who would give me a bid spelling out what it would take to get the job done. All that said, the rooms look so much better and we got them done in time. If I had a simple job to do, I might consider hiring him again.

The painters were prompt, professional and polite. Went straight to work upon arrival and cleaned up before they departed.

Overall the experience was okay. But somewhat disappointed. From this experience, I don't think I would hire someone based on hours -- rather I would pay based on the work I need completed. I also asked for an estimate on how much it would cost to paint my hallway and yet I never heard from them again -- didn't think the no response was very professional.

Everything went smoothly from initial contact through completion of job. We purchased a "Big Deal" for this job and were very satisfied with all they were able to accomplish. I appreciate that he is a very experienced painter.

The job went very well. I was concerned about the laundry room as the furnace and hot water tank are located there and I thought it might not be possible to paint behind them. The painter managed to paint every square inch of the room, even behind the furnace and hot water tank. The painters arrived on time (actually, a little early). They were friendly, professional, and helpful, answering my questions to determine the best course of action to accomplish my priorities.

They were very far away from me. They would have come out for the work, but I decided to use another company that was closer.

Excellent, quality workmanship, attention to detail, reliable, organized, returns phone calls, shows up on time, answers questions, great customer service, easy to work with, very pleased with results. This painter likes to use high quality paint which covers better than most brands. The results are amazing. It's worth spending the extra dollars for the paint. This team just completed my second painting project walls and ceiling in 2 bedrooms, inside of 4 closets, 2nd floor hallway. Fair price and excellent workmanship. lThey will start my third project stripping wall paper and painting my master bedroom and bath at the end of the week. Don't delay, this team is excellent !

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff. They arrived promptly and went straight to work. I understand now why it was so important to layout out what needs to be done ahead of time. Advanced preparation helped them start rigtht away. The quality of work was very good. I was very pleased when they left and I have used them since the first job. I would definitely recommend them!

Soon after I purchased the coupon from Angie's List for 2 painters for the day, the owner called me to discuss what painting I needed done. We went through the process and he told me to prioritize the importance of the painting because I had them for just a day. I was also able to schedule the paint job right then as well. Because I wanted the painters to do the painting that would be hardest for me, I did paint the trim around the windows and doors, to save them time to focus on what I really needed them for. They would have painted the trim too, but I wanted them to focus on the ceiling and walls (using 3 different color paints). They arrived prompt in the morning, put tarps on everything and went right to work. Very professional, clean and were actually done sooner than I thought they would be. I would definitely recommend them.
