Walter and his crew were wonderful. Walter came to my home to review the area that needed painted. We had quite a few drywall repairs that were needed. Walter listen as I pointed out specific areas needing drywall repairs and set expectations. On the popcorn ceiling repair, Walter was very clear in setting my expectation for a perfect match. The price was very fair for the areas repaired and painted. Walter and his crew were very friendly and professional. All of the work was done in one day with the exception of the bathroom. When the crew was finished, Walter walked me through the areas that were repaired and painted. He also told me to review each area closely and if I saw a problem just to let him know. They did a great job in all of the rooms and the repair of the ceiling was better that I expected! I will definitely will use them again to paint my upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. Kudos to Walter and crew!!

The painters made minor repairs to the walls in my bedroom and living room and painted both rooms. They arrived promptly and were very courteous. I will be using them again.

I had an Angie's Big Deal for 16 hours of painting, etc which was scheduled promplty. The two painters arrived and did a beautiful job repairing some drywall damage and painting my first and second floor hallways and a small first floor bath. When they finished with some time left they suggested working on some trim areas to paint as well. I will definately call them again for a future project.

Walter and his crew were great. They arrived on time and we walked him through everything to be done. All of the previous owners picture holes, dings and electrical equipment holes were covered up and look great. The labor and paint cost was fairly priced and the final cost was in line with our original estimate because we added a ceiling to be painted and did not have a bathroom painted. They did a great job in the 2 days they were there and the amount of work/space that was done. They even marked the name of the room on the top of the pain can which is a nice touch so we didn't have to do it. We will definitely use them again.

We had some really gross looking water damage on one plaster wall in our house, and some more minor (but noticeable) damage in the hallway that need to be repaired. I called Walter and he came to look at it and give us an estimate. Since we were having them come to do the plaster/paint work, we decided to have the kitchen painted as well. The price was very reasonable, and his son and helper were able to get the job quickly and efficiently. I am very happy with how it turned out!

It took us a while to get the appointment scheduled. Once the appointment was scheduled he emailed me a few days before the scheduled job trying to change what we agreed upon. The whole process has been complicated. I just decided to get a refund.

Terribly. Would not use the painters again. They were unresponsive to direction and spent all day painting one room and the ceiling of another room. Update: I am not a liar. I take recommendations for service providers very seriously. The service was lousy. And I find it interesting that the provider used that language-not professional at all--no matter how many awards you have. Use this provider with extreme caution.

The service was pretty cool. They did a pretty good job but they left a couple of paint marks on my sink and stuff like that. That was the only drawback from that. They did the service probably three weeks after I purchased the big deal. I had to actually pay for the paint for $300 or $400 but the quality of the service was pretty good. They did everything in a day. They were pretty responsive, quick with the work and everything. I think that they were even here early. They were also professional but I would probably not use their service again in the future. I would probably look for another paint company.

Mr. Glisson and his crew were fantastic. Starting from the initial contact with Mr. Glisson, I immediately felt that he was a professional. He was responsive and when he gave me his arrival time for the quote and for the start of the work, he was accurate. The quality of the work was top notch. Mr. Glisson advised me on the quality of paint to use and the room turned out great. When we are ready to have the rest of our house's interior painted, we will not hesitate on contacting Mr. Glisson again! Thanks again for a great job and Happy Thanksgiving!

I feel that I got what I paid for, but not the deal. It was a father and son. Father was well-skilled and steadfast. Son was not in a big hurry to get the job done, seemed to take frequent little breaks. Finished work a little bit early, although they could have completed another section before quitting. They did a good job and were very neat and clean. I don't like to criticize, but I couldn't help but think about the fact that if I worked in the hospital at the pace these men worked, I would not last!

Walter's son came precisely on time, wasted no time getting started and finished early. He did a great job painting my daughter's room! I will definitely be using this painting service again.

I just wanted to get the trim around some exterior windows painted, I bought the paint as the painter instructed & every time I contact him about possibly doing the job he says the weather isn't & won't be cooperating. Its 50+ degrees and completely dry on those days where he says the weather isn't cooperating & he says he is waiting for an unusually warm streak to occur. Realistically you're not going to get a 90 degree day in November & I have been outside painting the trim on the lower levels with no problem, I just didn't want to get on a ladder to do the 2nd story windows which I figured I'd hire a pro to do. So I figure it's best for me to cancel this big deal, find someone else, & let him wait for this miracle blazing hot day in November that he needs in order to paint by himself.

I bought the deal over a month before I needed service. I contacted the provider right away to set up the date. I called back soon after to ask for a additional painter to come (at full price). I was told no problem. I took the day off for the date of service. I told the provider this four days before service, the provider messaged me to call him. When I did he said if didn't know if he could have 2 guys & wouldn't know until Sunday night (night before service). I reminded him, I scheduled this over a month ago & took time off. He told me he didn't want to hear it & I was being a awful person. He then told me he wasn't going to come, don't contact him again & hung up. Needless to say he was unprofessional, rude & a little unhinged.

Got to the job and finished it quickly and professionally

It went very well. They were excellent.

It was okay. I questioned the square footage they said they would cover because I think it was under that. I really don’t think it was 1,800 square feet. They just did a hallway, a foyer and I doubt that just that would be 1,800 square feet. They came out within a month of purchasing the deal.If it was really 1,800 square feet, I think the price is fair.

Got a Big Deal for Whole House Painting up to 1800 sq ft and they did a great job painting several of the rooms in the house including a ceiling in the master bedroom. Got quoted a fair price to paint a 2 story family room/foyer, which they promptly did the next day. Everything looks great! Would definitely go with them again in the future!

I purchased this Big Deal to have a rental property that I own painted. I needed the entire house painted and was unaware that the Big Deal only included 1,600 square feet of paint. I don't have the time to figure out the exact exterior square footage of the house and I don't want it partially painted, so I will have to get a quote from a local contractor who can examine the job and provide a quote for the entire project.

Incident Reference #131012-000382 The Angie's deal for whole house painting says that an additional charge is required for 3rd floor painting. The house is all brick with 3rd floor wood dormers which need painting. The painter indicated to me he does not do 3rd floors. Prior to his coming out, I sent him pictures of house and that I must have the 3rd floor done as a priority. He never indicated in email that he could not perform this work. When he arrived he quoted a price of $9,000.00 to do the minimal painting required. I have another quote for much $3,200. He should have told me when I sent the photos and email he couldn't provide the service.

They were very good. They were very professional. They did what they said that they would. They did a very good time and did it on time.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The painting turned out very well. They were professional, they were on time, and they did really good work with the painting and fixing the walls where it needed to be. We ended up having them finish the rest of the house so I think we ended up spending about $2,000.

This was a great experience because of the frankness and reliability of Walter's service. First, and my favorite: Walter was there exactly when he said he would be, both for the estimate and for the actual service. I love it that he showed up at an exact time, not the "range of time" you often get from workmen: when he said he would be there at 9:00 or at 7:30, that's when he was really there! None of the "I'll be there between 9 and noon stuff!. As a working person, I truly appreciate it that he did not waste my time. Next: he honestly and frankly pointed out the potential problems with my walls and told me how he could correct them, and also, told me what to expect when the job was done. He was painting to cover a bad 25 year old paint job a precious owner left on only part of a brick wall; he told me that the paint could look a little different on the different surfaces. The nice part is that the finished job is great- you can't tell what was previously painted and what was not. There is not a rogue drop of paint anywhere. When he left, the place was clean. My garage doors had peeling paint and were in really bad shape. I had another "professional" paint them 3 years ago, and he was unable to get the peeling paint marks to blend. After Walter and his sons sanded and painted, they look brand new. I wish I'd hired Walter 3 years ago! Walter is very business like and says what he means and means what he says. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. I feel like I finally found someone who can do the job, and who actually wants to do the job right.

The painter arrived on time and started right away. He worked fast and got a lot of work done during the job. He painted a large fenced area for me. Worked continuously and did a wonderful job. I will have him back to do more work next Summer. Thanks for the great deal! Paul
