Michael came out and reviewed the project gave me an estimate. There was also a spot in our bedroom that had just started seeping when torrential rains came. The crew arrived on time and completed the work that day as promised. They did check the roof for seepage and did a quick repair. They were courteous and when they left you would never know workman had been in my yard that day. I just received the bill and it was for the exact amount of the quote.

Micheal did a great job. He came up with ways to keep our cost down and yet do the job correctly.

The work was done almost a year ago. Last year was very dry so I waited until this year (and rain) to properly comment on Moore Constructions workmanship. I reviewed 2 other highly rated Angie's List contractors before choosing Moore. One other contractor matched Moore's proposal item for item; except Moore's quote was $1100.00 less. I choose Moore and am very glad I did. Michael Moore showed up that morning (9/11/2012) with his crew. He went over the contract with me and crew leader. Crew leader answered any questions I had during installation process. Michael Moore also checked in during the day to see how the job was progressing. Installation was done entirely that day. Clean up of job site very satisfactory. Some additional comments: *The competition was going to install the gutter hangers every 18", Moore was going to install every 24". I asked Michael if he could install the hangers at the 18" spacing and what would the charge be for the extra hangers? Michael said he would install the hangers at my requested 18" spacing at no extra charge to the original proposal. Gutters installed very solidly. *I requested oversized downspouts all around the house to improve water flow and prevent clogging. This was done.Water flow fine. Clogging eliminated. *In heavy rains we wind up with a lot of standing water in our back yard as our neighbors homes are higher in elevation . I asked Michael to pitch the first floor SW side gutter to the first floor NW side downspout so the water flow would discharge in front yard instead. He did so. Rain flow and discharge to front of house working fine thus alleviating excess water in backyard.. I only mentioned these items to show that Michael Moore worked with me to solve any drainage concerns I had around my home before I chose them. This isn't a company that just installs the materials, collects their check and leaves. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their gutters/downspouts.

They were professional and hardworking. They seemed to correct any errors that were pointed out.

My experience with Moore construction company and Michael in particular was exceptional. I chose Moore Construction primarily because of reviews he'd received and the proximity to my home. I made a good chose. Michael was prompt, a man of his word, consistent and reliable. On the initial visit Michael wasn't able to make a fair assessment of what needed to be done. This is a common occurrence when other unit owners are involved. However, Michael wasn't deterred. He asked that I give him a chance to think about an alternate approach and that he would be back. And true to his word he came back - used a different approach - and accomplished the task at hand. Considering the obstacles he had to navigate I was extremely appreciative of the efforts he made on my behalf. Additionally, the employees are friendly and informative. They also take time to listen and are adept at capturing dialogue accurately and forwarding it to Michael. This proved to be helpful in my case because I can not, as of yet, provide Michael with and exact start date. My experience has been that the individual(s) who answers the phones represent his company very well. The level of professional of the front office proved to be outstanding. As of today I am still working on association issues and protocol, but once the red tape has cleared, I will definitely utilize the services of Michael and Moore Construction.

They were professional. I didn't complete the service yet. I'm still kind of deciding. He came on time. He was very nice. He got the quote to me in a timely fashion and once I received the quote in the mail I got an email copy of the quote and I also received a mail that was very professional and well done.

Punctual, hardworking, left job site spotless every day of the 5 day process. Adapted to last minute changes. The crew was courteous, pleasant to have around -- they literally sang while they worked. It was a lot of work, and I feared it would be an awful project, but it was extremely smooth, and effortless on our part. Michael was my first estimate, and I had a good feeling about him immediately. He was receptive to changes and questions, where some of the other companies were not. I would not hesitate to recommend Moore Construction.

The crew showed up early that morning cut and installed gutters on our home,they did a good job cleaning up after they finished the job.

I cannot say enough good things about Moore Construction. They were incredibly responsive from my first call and Mike, the owner, came out to my house a few days later. He took a look at my roof, explained to me what was wrong and my options for fixing it. Most impressive, (unlike other contractors) he explained that I could repair the problem without a tear off (just yet at least). In other words, Mike voluntarily passed up the opportunity to sell me a much bigger, more costly (and no doubt lucrative) job. From there, everything went smoothly. The workers were at my house as scheduled, did not leave a trace of debris, and the folks at Moore were extremely proactive about communicating with me about scheduling, scope of work, etc. Joanne, the Office Manager, deserves a shout out for being great. In short, I've dealt with dozens of contractors on just about every possible issue, and my experience with Moore, from beginning to end, was the best experience I've had. I don't look forward to the day when I have to put on a new roof, but I don't dread it nearly as much knowing that I know who I'll call to do it. Trust me - Moore Construction are the folks you want.

Moore construction is wonderful to work with, from their office staff to the construction staff everyone is a true professional. I feel like we got excellent advice, work and quotes on all projects. Moore was very responsive to our concerns and any problems. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs roofing work, we will continue to use them in the future.

Moore did an awesome job, they came up with new ideas, did the initial work and when we still had issues (no fault of theirs! It's a complicated setup) they came back until the got it right at no extra charge. If you want a company to solve your problem, get it right for the charge, and stand behind their work look no further. Seriously, its really rare to find companies who go this far to make it right.

We purchased a new home that desperately needed new gutters. The house had some old ones that were leaking, and newer ones that weren't installed correctly. Michael showed up for a quote and answered all my questions about what the job would require. He got the quote to us quickly, and although I usually don't go with the lowest one, I felt that Moore Construction would do the best job. I am happy we did go with them - the gutters look fantastic. I had some questions the day of the job, and Michael was responsive and showed up to make sure everything was going as planned. I would definitely recommend this company.

I did not use their services. I chose a company offering an excellent price with an equivalent reputation.

Moore did a great job, in spite of particularly challenging weather conditions which included approximately 5 inches of rainfall in the middle of the project. Michael Moore, the owner, was extremely attentive and communicated with us regularly. Joan, the office manager, was very friendly and responsive to any and all inquiries. The job foreman, Luis, was on-site during much of the work and clearly explained the work being performed. Expectations were clearly communicated and achieved. From the detailed proposal to digital pictures of rotted wood which was replaced, everything was laid out both before and during the job. Every day of work, the crew was extremely professional. They showed up by 8:00 AM and routinely worked until well past 5:00 PM, never leaving until they had completely cleaned the job site, including checking neighbors' properties to ensure no nails or debris were left in their yards. In the interest of keeping good neighbors, we asked our neighbors if there were any problems from their perspectives, and both commented on the quality of the work and professionalism of the crew. One great advantage of Moore is the fact that the workers are employees of Moore and not subcontractors. The crew worked very efficiently and clearly operated as a well drilled team. They were very careful to protect landscaping and windows. We would recommend Moore to anyone looking to have any roofing done, especially if they have a flat roof. Moore has an expertise with flat roofs.

This spring we identified a serious need for a new roof on our house and garage. We also have had periodic problems with squirrels entering the attic through the wood on the soffit and fascia. The last time we had a roof installed we used a contractor with whom we had multiple issues. So we sought a reliable contractor to manage the entire project. A few years ago we had used Moore Construction to install larger gutters more appropriate to the needs of the house and to promote water flow away from the foundation. We had a very good all-around experience with Michael and his crew. While we looked at other contractors, we chose Moore once again for this new project. He quickly made an appointment to do his assessment, then generated a bid that was both complete and reasonable. Within two weeks of our signing off on the contract, Michael was able to schedule his crew to start the work. The crew was punctual, professional and hard-working. Crew Supervisor Luis was cordial and was able to offer explanations for any questions we had. They completed the work quickly and efficiently. They even re-positioned our rain barrel and installed a new downspout to align with the rain barrel opening. The quality of the roof and soffit/fascia is outstanding and the house and garage have never looked better. We're more secure now with a squirrel-free attic. We also compliment Michael's office manager Joan, who along with Michael was always responsive and cordial in processing our work, by phone and by email. We would definitely use Moore Construction again, and recommend them to others.

The crew was punctual and got to work right away each morning. Most of the crew did not speak English, but they worked hard and cleaned up well. I have not stumbled across a single nail. I believe that there is no perfect company so I want to site the positives and negatives from my experience. Such minor things do not sway my opinion, but this is for constructive feedback to make the process better. POSITIVES: 1. Professional, English-speaking foreman was always available. 2. Magnetic sweeping removed nails 3. Craftmanship was pretty good 4. Gutters look amazing. They make the ones on my house look like crap in comparison. The brickwork was virtually dry right around the gutters after the huge storm we had the week of 04/14/2013. 5. Roof did not leak after the rainiest April in recorded local history. 6. I received a cash discount 7. They are based in Berwyn 8. They have a brick and mortar building 9. None of the roofers even attempted to enter the house. 10. The foreman took a few minutes to look at some paint in our house at my wife's request. We really liked the foreman. He did a great job and spoke good English. He made sure we were satisfied with the job, even when his boss was on vacation. NEGATIVES: 1. My biggest complaint is the little plastic strips from the GAF-Elk shingle wrappers. They are these little blue pieces of plastic. They were all over the place even after clean up. 2. When they took down the gutters on the garage, I assumed they would paint the boards around the garage that were almost bare. I did ask the foreman and he did paint the boards after the gutters were already up. Needless to say, all of the boards did not get painted well. I should have waited and asked before they put up the gutters. 3. Clean up was not perfect. There will still a few tiny pieces of the old roofing in the yard. This really isn't a complaint against Moore as this is part of the process for all roofers. 4. The wood around the window for the dormer in the rear window got chipped. I think this was because the wood needs to be replaced so it is not a huge deal. I wish Moore would have suggested replacing or painting the wood during the estimate. I guess it is one of those things when you do work. When you have a quality job done, it makes other things that are not up to par stand out more. Overall, I was very satisfied.

I did not feel service was as professional or knowledgeable as it should have been. No follow up after initial visit. Did not use this company.

It was a good experience overall. Michael Moore came to my house to give me an estimate within a few days of my calling their office. He was patient and answered all my questions and answered my contractor's questions as well. It took a while to schedule the work because of the weather but they did a good job. They were pretty thorough about their clean up but I did find 2 long nails on the ground, which was a concern because I have a dog.

Really great team, excellent work, responsive, prompt, kind. Quotes were more than fair, work is excellent. We have had some follow-up work needed, so that is only reason for a "B" grade. But that happens, and Michael's team has been totally great with repairs.

Michael stopped by the same afternoon of my call, met with me, looked over the damage, and the next day I had a proposal emailed to me. A day or so later, in the mail, we received a printed copy of the proposal, village business certificate, brochure, etc. His two man crew and their Moore Construction panel van were on site exactly at the time stated, 8am. Work was completed within a few hours. Minimal noise. The new gutter and trim look great. Everything was cleaned up nicely. Wouldn't have even known they were there. They even took away the old gutter and fascia boarding. Very pleased that we found Moore via Angie's List.

I needed a new tear-off roof at my home in NW Oak Park. I found Michael Moore's company on Angies List. He came out and gave a detailed quote. The quote was very competitive, and he was able to start within a few days. I actually never met Michael in person because of my schedule, but he is easy to get ahold of on the phone, which was essential for me. He answered all of my questions during the project regarding replacing a downspout, and regarding the vents in the attic. Michael called me every day during the project. The project took 3 days. The crew left the property clean and tidy each day. The end resut is outstanding. I would recommend Moore Construction for a new roof. Affordable. Clean. In communication with clients.

Michael and his crew at Moore Construction were absolutely terrific. Michael gave us several options that other contractors didn't provide. His crew showed up on time and finished the job exactly when they said they would for the price they quoted. I would definitely use them again.

They came and finished the job just as they said they would. The estimator did recommend gutters be installed to prevent future damage to the siding. The price was right and I agreed. The job was done well.

I did a lot of research on this and we had several names of roofers we saw on Angie's list. Moore Construction was the first to respond and come out and give us an estimate. We received the Angie's list discount plus a discount for having it done in winter. The minute my husband met Michael Moore, he said this is the one. My husband said he had a good feeling about him. They arrived on a Wednesday torn down one whole side and put up new planking. They didn't come back on Thursday as agreed because it was too cold that day. It warmed up a bit on Friday and they were back and then they finished up on Saturday.
