requested a quote through Angie's list a month ago and never heard back from this company. They might be excellent, just never responded so I went on to another provider.

Everything went very smoothly. Larry and his staff were helpful. Larry never pressured us to have more done in our bathroom than what we wanted. Steve was the gentleman who installed our new flooring, and he did a fantastic job. He arrived always on time and worked tirelessly on our project. We are still impressed with the wonderful job he did. They also brought in our vanity top to the shop and refinished it to look brand new. We would recommend this company.

It went very well. They responded promptly by calling me, after that communication was regularly by text. I needed counter tops replaced in both the upstairs and basement kitchens. They were prompt. I was told the counterparts would be available within 10-15 days. They were ready in 7 days and installed in 10 days after the initial measurements. Because of the change in the under mount sink, the cabinets needed to be raised in order to put the counter top on. They were able to raise the base cabinets for me for an additional $100.00. They were also kind enough to do a 2nd cut out for the sink in the basement as part of my deal. The counters are absolutely beautiful and has raised the appeal and appearance in both kitchens.

They were excellent. If there was higher than "A" I would give them higher than "A". For the job they did, I'd say the price was good. They were a great company. I would recommend them to anybody that needed them.

Excellent - I know that Imperial has been in the LaGrange/Brookfield area for more than 35 years. So they must be doing something right. When I contacted them, Larry was very responsive and knew exactly what I was looking for in the way of flooring. He found the exact product that I wanted. Steve (the installer) arrived every day around 730 am and worked non-stop until 3pm...no breaks for lunch, just kept working....very dedicated. The project took a little longer than estimated but Steve found a soft spot around the toilet that needed to be fixed...thank goodness my existing toilet didn't fall into the basement!!! LOL! I am very very happy with the service I received from Imperial, Larry and Steve. I highly recommend them if you want an honest and competent contractor.

They did fantastic job. They did work for me five years ago. They gave me a new kitchen countertop -- unbelievable. It is really so beautiful and so well made. Everything they do is so well put together. They do the job. It is a perfect fit no matter what it seems to be. Their people just know exactly what they are doing, they are not babes in the woods. I have known of them for some years and I highly recommend them to anybody in this community who needs to have home remodeling done. They are not necessarily a bargain crew; they are a little pricey, but the quality of work justifies the price. The quality of the work was flawless. I had other estimates given to me where the labor charges were perhaps less than theirs, however it required me to go out and purchase the material so you add up the price I pay to purchase the materials and then the price I would pay for the labor it probably comes out close to what I paid Imperial Kitchens and Baths. Their responsiveness was outstanding. The day I called them the owner of the company was at my door that afternoon to take a look at things and to do some measurements. They were to show up for three days in a row at 8 a.m. and they were there a little before 8 a.m. They made every attempt to not only be professional, but certainly to look professional. They cleaned up after themselves very adroitly. It came out really good. I got to be quite friendly with the owner of the company and the response would be tremendous, that to me is important.

All installers clean, tidy, professional. Advice clear, helped w/ choices. Timely completion. Love their work!

The team was fast efficient & professional. There were plumbing complications which they took in stride, making adjustments as needed.

We had an excellent experience with Imperial Kitchens and Baths. From our first telephone conversation, I knew they listened to everything I had to say. With that in mind, they made excellent suggestions, provided a beautiful design and monitored the process from beginning to end to make sure we were completely satisfied. Every installer and employee that came into our home was trustworthy and provided outstanding work. We highly recommend Larry Rych and the entire Imperial Kitchens and Baths team.

The job took much longer than anticipated due to major plumbing & electrical problems found once room was gutted. All personnel were respectful of our home, timely & professional. It was frustrating that it took so long but it was understandable. Overall, we had a good experience. John Krupka was extremely accommodating & "bent over backwards" to get things done & help us keep costs down.

The owner, Larry came out when he said he would, talked about our options. We made an appointment to meet with him to go over everything. It was a little more than we wanted to pay, but the job was done very well.

Everything was great. They were very helpful with our selection of materials and colors. We required two very unique countertops which they manufacture red in their shop - and installed perfectly the first time. Showed up exactly on schedule.

It was a very good experience. The best part was that they were very good at keeping withing my budget. They came when they said they were going to come and did what they said they were going to do. They were a little bit more expensive than some other ones.

It was difficult for them to quote a price when you can some of the work yourself. Their plumbers were very expensive. But he was nice. If you want a high end kitchen, he is the place to go. He was good at discussing the layout of the kitchen. He was good at designing. His input was very useful but we cannot spend that amount for our kitchen.

He could not even come close to the estimate for doing anything and he gave e limited choices. He refuses to give me anything with which to negotiate until I sign the contract. He does business in a way that is deceitful and unworkable. I decided that I would never ever do business with that company. Someone who shows you one type of material and is still over the budget is unacceptable.

Overall very well although it seemed like it lasted forever. We had a few other projects done by Imperial a couple of years ago (master bathroom remodel, fireplace tiling, foyer floor tiled) so we had high expectations and they definitely delivered. Larry was honest with time projections although these remodel projects always seems to take longer than planned. They removed our old cabinets, installed new cabinets and counter tops, tiled a beautiful backsplash, updated a pantry, painted the kitchen. The quality of the cabinets and counter tops is outstanding - we are very pleased with the final product. They were very clean and kept the kitchen contained. They were very responsive to concerns, questions, and made changes along the way as we found additional changes (as you often do) during the process. We had some painting challenges and they were very responsive to our concerns and they were dedicated to a quality final product. The final product is beautiful and functional. Hector and his brother are absolutely magnificent - they listen and work with you to provide the best final product.

Good workmanship, easy to work with, and I'm pleased with the results. Very neat, cleaned up each day. Tile work is beautifully finished. Informed me of the wall problems and how they would be resolved. Very pleased with the results. Workers are very pleasant, punctual and accommodating. Sales/project manager and other staff very easy to work with, customer service oriented, willing to take the extra steps - I would hire them again.

Excellent! They are fantastic. They took their time but it was because they wanted to make sure they could do the job correctly and not leave anything. For a company that does the majority of their business putting new kitchens and new counter tops, they spent their time to make sure that that job was done well. I would definitely recommend these guys to anybody.

Provider was not chosen but company responded promptly to my request for a quote and provided me with helpful information concerning its ability to remodel kitchens. Personnel involved were very courteous.

Three years later and I still love my counter top. I found the price to be very reasonable and competitive. Chris designed the L-shaped counter top. The work was fantastic. Their attention to detail was outstanding. I would highly recommend them.

Initial contact with Imperial Kitchens & Baths was in August 2013. We met with one of the owners, John Krupka, and discussed our requirements. IKB showrooms is on the smaller side, but they have lots of samples of cabinets, countertops, hardware, tile, fixtures, and catalogs etc to look at. I had drawn up some rough scale drawings of the bathroom, kitchen and laundry room to take with me to the meeting so that John would have some idea of the space and square footage. Taking our budget into consideration, John was able to make good suggestions for materials for the look we wanted. John is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He was also very responsive with emails and phone calls during the whole process. Once we decided on the specific products to be used and the scope of the work, we made the initial down payment to get the process started and to secure our spot on their calendar. Now for the individual projects: Kitchen countertop, backsplash and undermounted sink: this was done in September by Old World Stone, the company IKB contracted for the job. A man with laser measuring equipment was sent to custom measure for the countertop. The process itself was interesting to watch. A few weeks later the countertop was ready and installed along with the undermount stainless steel sink. Then a gentleman named Hector came to install the glass tile backsplash. All craftsmen involved were punctual and polite and did their work with no excessive breaks or talking. Laundry room: The cabinets were installed by Jeff and so were the bifold doors. Jeff was great and went above and beyond in getting the bifold doors installed in the closet in the laundry room. The opening to this small closet was not just a little off square, it was substantially off and Jeff had to finally build a new surround inside the closet opening in order for the doors to fit properly. The opening was also a bit smaller than normal for the standard sizes of bifold doors, so IKB had to cut them down a bit. The doors were finally finished after the bathroom was finished. Of all the projects, the bifold doors presented the biggest problem, but both Jeff and John from IKB were great at getting this done. Guest Bathroom: This was done in December. It involved removing the old floor tile, vanity, plate glass mirror, toilet and shower and tub surround and replacing them. We decided to eliminate the tub and turn the space into a shower with solid surface walls, small seat, shower pan, sliding glass doors and new shower head with separate hand shower. Jeff was a great worker and did most of the installation work by himself. Very nice guy and a hard worker. Project took approx two weeks. IKB secured required permit from the village. Required as a slight plumbing change was made in the shower wall. Painting: Had whole interior of our town home painted except for bedrooms, closets and baths. This was quite a job that required scaffolding due to areas with eighteen foot high ceilings and a staircase with sixteen steps, which made for very high staircase walls. George was the painter and he was excellent. Very punctual, nose to the grindstone, careful and hardworking guy. Respectful of our possessions. We are so pleased with the paint job. It looks like a brand new place! It took fourteen working days but was well worth the wait. George works alone and is very detail oriented. Excellent painter. He's so quiet that you hardly know he's there. Great work, George! We plan to use IKB in the future for a master bath remodel and refacing the kitchen cabinets. Just have to save up the money! Great company to work with and we would recommend them.

The work went ok. When we initially talked there were supposed to be 2 painters involved, however only 1 showed up. The work therefore took twice as long as we had agreed. I insisted on a second coat in one room, but I really wish I had insisted on a second coat throughout. Looking at the walls now I can see the cut-ins etc. I think it was just a bigger job than one guy could handle. He should have had someone to help him move furniture as well as paint, but they just sent one guy. I have to say though that Imperial was a general contractor, I knew that, and having Bob manage the project was extremely helpful. He controlled access to the unit which I needed since I travel for work. And I felt that he had thoroughly vetted the painter. Was it worth it? Maybe next time I'll buy my own lock box and search Angie's list for a painter.

We went to Angie?s List after becoming overwhelmed by the decisions needed to remodel our kitchen. We were guided to Imperial Kitchen and Bath in Brookfield, Illinois. What a pleasant experience we have had dealing with Larry Rych and the rest of the Imperial crew. Totally professional in attitude and workmanship. On time, taking the time to do a good job, working together, no excuses, kept us informed?Just wonderful! Thanks to Imperial Kitchen and Bath! We love our new kitchen!
