Description of Work: I had an ash tree in my backyard that had Ash Borer in it and it needed to be taken down. This was a very older large tree with a split stem so two big stems going up. I got a number of quotes and plans for taking this down as it was in an inconvenient place and I needed my neighbor's permission to use their driveway. Bluder's was able to do this in a very professional and safe way and cleaned up perfectly when done. The price was very reasonable compared to the other quotes I got and their scheduling/communication was excellent.

Description of Work: We called Bluder's looking for an arborist to come to our home and look at our 2-year old Marmo Maple. It was showing signs of distress suddenly, and we couldn't figure out why. We called Bluder's on a Monday and left a message. Our call was returned a few minutes later. They said they'd have their arborist call us. About 1/2 hour later Mark called and immediately gave his name and credentials. He sounded very professional and said he'd stop by our house the next day to look at the tree. We were shocked, as we had been told that most arborists need a 2-3 week lead time. Mark came exactly when he said he would and was very friendly and professional. He took a look at the tree and confirmed our suspicions that we had leafhoppers. He also told us that we had a very good, healthy tree, and everything we'd done up until now had been the right thing. He gave us a few options. We decided to have him spray the tree, as the leafhoppers could do some damage and severely inhibit the new growth that had been going so well. They also could spread to nearby trees and, well, that would just not be neighborly, would it? Mark said he'd be in the area at the end of the week, and that worked for our schedule. He came when he said he would, and it took less than 10 minutes total between speaking with us and finishing. Mark is AMAZING. We give him an A+++. | |I would definitely call Bluder's the next time we need a tree service. I can't say enough about the service we received. Excellent! And we're glad to know that we were able to support a local business as well.
