Appraisal inspection took place on a Sunday morning. Appraiser arrived 29 minutes early which was great and proceeded to inspect and gather information about my property efficiently and in an orderly fashion. I got the finished appraisal just 4 days later.

The house he appraised was in Chicago in the Historical Pullman area that has been named as an Historical Monument! He asked me if I had paper work for that, but none was needed as he saw upon the day of appraisal. This house was previously owned by our father, but when he passed away my brother purchased it and Mike Johnson Appraisals did appraise the house in 2018. I remembered his name so I contacted him again to do another appraisal in April, 2022. He remembered the house after being in the backyard and being inside. I had to remind him that Pullman was named an Historical Monument by former President Obama and where the house is situated across the street from the Florence Hotel and the park and that he needed to do his homework regarding where this house is bc it makes a big difference. I was very pleased with the appraisal and would highly recommend M.J..Johnson Appraisals. He did his homework regarding Pullman. Kudos to you Mr. Johnson!

The appraisal Mr. Johnson made was inaccurate. The appraisal was 100K lower than we expected to be. We had to hire another appraisal company which gave us a more accurate value for our home and we use that appraisal to sell the our home. Mr. Johnson was a waste of money.
