We contacted with them for a three-year service, three years in a row. They put it up in November and take it down in January. The buy who comes out is a real creative guy. He shows a bunch of pictures. We did not know what we wanted to do with as far as lights to, but he came up with an interesting plan and it was good. You buy the lights and, basically, they are yours. They put them up for your every year. If I had to say anything about them I would say there were creative.

Dec. 2, 2014 I am so disappointed in this service. They have had our money since September ($3500) and told me the new roof line lights would be installed in October, during decent weather. Then the office said whole installation November 18 and no one showed. I have called again and again. I have talked to Gabby, Angie and another woman. Finally, on November 29 and 30, your guys came to install. After dark and it took two days. (The guys are very nice.) They did not have the garlands and lights for the pillars and said they would return with them that same day, Nov. 30. They did not. I called again on Dec. 1 and listed three problems: 1- two bushes with lights not working (extension cord issue), 2) roof line lights not working in two areas, and 3) no one has shown up with the pillar garlands and lights. The office said someone would be out. No show, no call. This is simply unacceptable. I have had decent service for 3 years. Then I upgrade and this company can't handle it or follow up on promises or service. The office can't even respond to calls and they fail to notify me of date changes and reasons for no shows. At one point, Nov. 28, the office person was surprised that my installation wasn't done on Nov. 18... What is the problem?....actually, at this point, I don't care about their problems. I called for a proposal and estimation of installing permanent outdoor holiday lights for my house, easy to make appointment and a representative shows up on time with samples and plans, very professional, but the price is beyond my budget.

Dave Dilger, from Holiday Creation, was professional, courteous, pleasant and produced a beautiful design for my house. The cost was high, but the design looked was perfect. I told him what I wanted changed and we settled on a design. Within 10 days, workers came to decorate my house. One problem was that they kept knocking on the front door and asking what was suppose to be done. Finally, I printed out the design picture of the house on my printer and handed it to them. The workers did two major things wrong; the large tree in front was supposed to be decorated to the TO THE TOP (as shown in the picture). Even after I called, and a second group of workers returned, they could not reach the top. The representative, Dave, agreed it should be to top, but I gave up calling to have it altered. Holiday Creations should have used a cherry picker instead of long poles. The poles seemed to be too short to ever reach the top, even when the workers stood on a ladder with a pole. Second, the garland was suppose to be wrapped 5 times around the front columns near front door. The first set of workers wrapped the garland sloppily THREE times around. When they returned to fix this, it did get done. A third thing also occurred; the timer for the front of the house was set 20 minutes before the other timer, which controlled the rest of the house. This happened when the workers came out for the second time to work on the front tree. I didn't complain as it was almost Christmas. Finally, the company said they would start taking down Christmas lights Jan. 2nd. Three weeks after that, my husband and daughter asked me to call as they were embarressed by the lights, since everyone around us had stopped having lights by Jan. 9. I called and workers did come to my house within days. The wreath supplied in my package, when put on my house was far too small. So, when I first called, Dave Dilger upgraded the wreath to a 4 ft. wreath without cost. He also assured me that the work would be fixed and shouldn't have been left as it was. I have not called HC yet, but when when pre-paying, I am going to request that we take care of the wreath and ask if they wanted to alter the price, or decorate something else. Everyone associated with the office and Dave Dilger genuinely wanted to have top notch work done, were very helpful in retictifying anything which wasn't right, and overall I enjoyed my experience with the company and look forward to having moving my house decorated next year. I learned that I needed to follow the workers and check the work out before they leave, and that if anything needs to be fixed, changed, etc., I must followup with Dave and/or the office staff everyday until it is to my satisfaction. When I was dealing with Dave or the office staff, I felt confident that the work would get done properly. However, their workers weren't as professional and meticulous as I had hoped.

The lady was super professional. She was awesome. She actually drove by my house, took pictures of it and then went home and basically hacked up what she wanted to do on her computer. She came over, looked around the outside a little bit more and came inside. She was unbelievably professional. She was just very thorough and very detailed. She was super nice. We didn't wind up doing it because we just didn't feel like spending $2800 but if I was going to spend so much of money on it, I would totally call her back and use her. I have her card and I would absolutely not hesitate to use her. We use to buy the stuff and own it and they use to just come and put it up but now she's shifted to a business model where basically she owns the stuff and just kind of running it. They come, talk to us about the design that we want and then come out and decorate. If anything goes wrong, like if the light bulbs burn out or whatever they come out and fix it. She also did say that if we were willing to have a contract then the price will go down every year. The longer we are with her, the cheaper it gets. We are not obligated to keep the same display on year after year when we buy the lights but that is kind of it. She was actually really interesting. She basically goes to the shows so that she could see the different lighting. She kind of likes to experiment stuff. I really have no complaints about her.

I called for an estimate for lights for our backyard and they came the next day for the estimate. They emailed us the estimate which was fair and we decided to go forward. They came a few days later and installed the lights. They did that very well and we were quite pleased with the results. My wife, however, wanted the lights to be arranged a little differently so I called them and asked for some changes. They did those very promptly as well and we now have the beautiful lights we wanted. The entire experience with Derek and with Holiday lighting was easy and reliable.

Submitted an initial estimate that was high and negotiated a more favorable quote; installation and removal were fine; the lights looked better than expected.

We were unhappy with our previous holiday light company after 3 years. Soon after contacting Holiday Creations, a representative was at our house providing an estimate. Once the light installation was scheduled, everything went smoothly. The company is very professional. Excellent communication and responsiveness! I highly recommend this business.

It was a long haul but in the end I think we finally found the right combination. We had a lot of problems in the beginning with overloaded circuits and water in the connections from snow. The employees that I dealt with seemed very knowledgeable about how to fix each situation and were usually at the house within 24 hours. Hopefully we have finally fixed all of our electrical issues. We also upgraded to LED lights this year and I look forward to less issues and lower electricity bills as well. Derek has bent over backward to personally oversee that we won't have any blackouts this year.

Well, at the consult when a representative came out to the house to discuss MY goals and desires , He was very helpful in helping me decide what would be the best options whithin my budget and actually came up with some great ideas for lighting in the backyard. Photos were taken of my yard and home, he broguht them up on the computer and showed me how it would look . Excellent a visual is priceless you can see what you are going to get. I made my decision, the time was set up they arrived on time did a great job, I had a few hiccups in the programming and lighting they came out in a couple of days fixed the problem and I have been hooked since. Going to have my holiday lights put up next week, cannot wait. very professional.

Derek and his crew do an exceptional job designing, installing and maintaining our holiday lights. We've been happy with their service and responsiveness. Last year one of our trees had grown quite a bit from the previous year and I thought the lights looked sparse... they came right back out and added lights to keep up with the growth free of charge. Installers are quick and clean... you will have some white plastic clips that appear on the ground after the snow melts in Spring but that's to be expected. We are very happy with the way they make sure that lights along the eaves and ridgeline are perfectly straight... a nice touch! Overall, very pleased and we recommend them to our neighbors.

Each year since 2007 they have installed our outdoor decxorations and do an excellent and professional job. They have always responded quickl;y to lights going out or wind problems.

3 yrs ago i was following a HC LIGHTING van on the highway and jotted down their phone #. I called and made an appt. Within days, a representative came to our house with samples and took a picture of the front of our home and with a laptop was able to show us examples of various lighting/decorative schemes for iur home. We also were given references and addresses to see completed lighting projects. Less than one week later we had our new permenet lighting installed! Annually HC LIGHTING places additional LED lights and decorations on out home. We have had few issues and all calls are followed up on usually within 24 hours. When HC LIGHTING upgraded their permanent lighting, they automatically changed out our existing product! HC LIGHTING stands behind their products with a guarantee. We liked HC Lights so much, that we have signed up for them to handle putting up and taking down our holiday lights every year. We like the fact that they also handle all of the storage of our holiday lights offsite, so that we do not have to take up storage space in our garage for them. We have a tall house with three stories, and it was not a problem at all for their installers to put the lights up. They are also very careful when installing so they do not damage any of the exterior siding, gutters or roofing. We highly recommend them for your holiday lighting!

Overall the installation was professionally and promptly completed. From the first site visit through the estimate and installation the company was very professional and courteous.

I've used this company for several years and have no complaints. They do a beautiful job and my neighbors love it, too. They are punctual and neat. And, on the rare occasion a problem occurs, they are quick to fix it. I would recommend them to a friend.

I purchased a package online. A rep from Holiday Creations Pro. Inc. called me the next day to schedule a consultation. Derek from HC Lights came to my parents home, took a photo of the outside and then sat down with me to review the lighting package and add lights to the photo he took of my parent's home. I made a few changes and approved his design. I chose LED lights which were a little more expensive, but looked just like the warm white incandescent lights sample. I was given an installation date range the week after Thanksgiving. Roofline lights were hung perfectly straight and the bushes were nice and full with lights.
