From the very first conversation I had with Fidel he was very professional and listened to all of my requests. He was able to visualize what I wanted and walked me through the entire process from the prep work to what the finish product would look like. The employees who came to do the work were professional, polite, and their work was excellent. I was amazed at how quickly they completed all of the work and when there was a delay (due to some bad weather we were experiencing at the time) Fidel was always in contact with me to let me know when they would be able to continue with the job. I am amazed with how the finished walkway turned out - it is even better then what I had envisioned! My husband and I have gotten complements from friends, neighbors, and even people who are just passing by our home. I would HIGHLY recommend DeVega Concrete and actually plan on using them again in the future for work in our backyard.

Fidel and his crew were prompt, courteous, capable and professional. They took out the old porch and sidewalk and part of the driveway and prepped and poured the new concrete very quickly and efficiently, following all guidelines supplied by the village. Nice job.

Fidel, the owner, was very easy to deal with. He was prompt with email replies and it was very east to set up appointments for him to come out and review the job for bid. He also was very informative on color choices, etc. His company secured the permit from the Village at their cost. The end result is that our patio is stunning. Everyone that has seen it so far can't believe the quality of the stone stamping (we chose a Bluestone pattern). I would recommend De Vega concrete to anyone looking for this type of work.

The owner was prompt on his appointment. He explained verbally all the work that needed to be done. He sent us a detailed quote by e-mail within three days, and then called to alert us that the e-mail had been sent. We received three quotes: $4500, $5000, and $8000. DeVega was the middle quote. He came back to review and answer all questions before we signed the contract. We asked for addtional isnurance paperwork and lien wavers in the contract. He did not object to any of them. Mr. De Vega called us and informed us of exactly what was to be done the day before the work. There were no surprises at all. The men were very neat, polite, no radios, etc. The job was done quickly. Fidell gave us referrals for other work we needed to be done. These contractors were of the same quality. The lien wavers were provided promptly when we made the fnal payment. We couldn't be happier with the work and the experience.

I had called De Vega to get an estimate for pouring a decorative back patio and a pad for a hot tub in back yard. I talked to Fidel and we set up a time/day to discuss the job the following week. Fidel never came nor did he call to cancel and reschedule. I was probably forgotten because he has more business than he can handle. So I am taking my business elsewhere but thought I should post anyway since De Vega was listed #1 on the list of Angie's List contractors in my area.

I would highly recommend this contractor. He was courteous, prompt in returning calls, and his workers worked very hard and efficiently. They did a great job of cleaning everything up after they finished. And, very importantly, the price was right!! : >)

Mr. Vega was very easy to work with. He was upfront about everything and there were no surprises when the work was done. The price was very reasonable, they showed up on time, worked until the job was done and did exactly what I wanted.

He came out and gave me an estimate. I wouldn't think the service was fantastic but it was good. He drove a long way to come out and have a look at the work. I would like to get a quote from them in the future.

Never went, I called for a quote and never got a call back,

I called them last week, and they called me back within an hour. The guy that called said that he would have the foreman call me back and set up an appointment that day for an estimate. A few days went by and I called them back again. I thought we had a miscommunication, so I gave them all of my contact information again. They still haven't called me. I didn't appreciate their lack of attention to a customer's request. They should have just told me that they didn't want to do the work, instead of telling me they would have someone there the same day.

From start to finish - De Vega Concrete provided excellent service and price. Fidel was thorough in his estimate, providing suggestions and listening to our concerns. I was worried about the yard getting tore up by the buggy carrying the concrete to the site (too far from the road to use the truck chute). No damage was done to our yard, just some flattened grass. The crew worked hard, for almost 10 hours straight. The pad is perfect, almost to nice to build a shed on! We are very happy with the service we received from De Vega Concrete, would use them again, and would highly recommend.

Fidel Vega is timely and responsive. From the estimate to the follow-up, he was very professional, friendly and had great ideas and suggestions. You can tell that it is important to him that the work performed by his company is done right and to the customer's satisfaction. They obtained the necessary contractor license required by our municipality. For a small fee, deVega Concrete obtained the necessary permit. They also called JULIE (the dig hotline). We wanted a stamped, colored concrete patio to replace our old deck. We wanted it to coordinate with existing fieldstone in our landscaping. Fidel recommended that we drive out to Butterfield Color (the vendor who makes the colorant, stamps, release colors) to make our final choice. What a great idea. That gave us certainty that our color and stamp choice was right for our project. When the crew arrived, they worked hard and were respectful of our home, family and neighbors. They asked questions as they prepared the forms and when we suggested a change to the configuration of the steps and ramp, they were clearly willing and glad to make the change to the forms - because even though it was more work for them, it gave us what we wanted. As the forms were being set, it became clear to Fidel that a small extension to the patio would be very helpful for the use of the ramp, so he had his crew dig out a large shrub and move it to another location and added this extension. They dug and framed the forms on day 1. They poured and stamped the concrete on day 2. On day 3, they removed the forms, cleaned off the release color powder, sealed the concrete and brought in dirt to backfill to grade level around the patio, giving it a finished look. We paid a $300 deposit when we signed the contract. We paid 50% after the patio was dug out and the forms were framed. Fidel returned 3 days after the job was finished to make sure that we were happy, discuss our experience and collect the remainder of the agreed total. It is important to me that a contractor does what they say they will do. de Vega Concrete didn't disappoint.

Mr. De Vega returned our phone call within a reasonable time. Was at our house when he said he would be and gave a thorough description of the work he would do and what the cost would be. Would recommend him to friends and family.

They were responsive to my initial inquiry and gave me a return call within a day or so. We made an appointment to meet...they never showed up and didn't call to notify me that they weren't coming or reschedule.

Fidel and his team did an amazing job. They completed the work quickly, simply, and economically. Several other contractors felt the job could not be done without lowering the entire garage floor, but the DeVega team came up with a simple solution that looks great and works better than we expected.

Mr. DeVega was professional and personable and understood what I wanted to do with the front. He took care of the village application and kept me informed as to when the work would begin, along with a short time frame for completion. I was at work when the crews came, but my teenage son informed me that they went about their work efficiently. I plan to use DeVega in the late spring to replace my garage floor and driveway.
