Description of Work: I would like to give a pre-review before the job is done, then update this review afterwards. I have a stoop that needs to be fixed. the area is about 40 sft. The contractor told me the job would take 2 men 5 hours, the labor costs $200, then he added trip-charge $50, material $150.. for these numbers i believe the labor was fair, the rest were somewhat over-estimated. 'trip-charge' to me is kind of unreasonable because my boss never paid me extra for driving to work everyday. But hopefully the job will be done professionally, in very good quality and we don't have to worry about it for a long time...

As owner of Arrowhead Brick Pavers Inc. I am responding to this Feedback. WE HAVE NOT EVEN STARTED THIS WORK. WE WERE NOT THE CONTRACTOR THAT INSTALLED THIS HOMEOWNERS PROJECT !!. Homeowner has done his research. Based on his research he has located a Quality contractor to try to resolve his issues , concerns and repairs that were created by another contractor most likely chosen to install this project based on "Price ". A Professional representative / Owner shows up to review this Project. Patiently takes 1 hr and 1/2 to explain solutions and option that might be best suitable to resolve this homeowners problems with his paver project. Arrowhead is a Company that strives for Excellence in all aspects of our Business , Whether it may be customer service , sales and or installation. We realize even good contractors can acquire a repair, resulting from their hardscape installation but knowing this is our Future. We strive to perform the best that we possibly can. If we have a repair . We access each situation to see how we can make each better. We then try very hard to pass this information to every homeowner whether we sell the project or not. At the least we hope homeowners will use this GOOD information to acquire a good and quality install knowing " All good installations will benefit this industry making people feel confident with Hardscape projects for a long time. THIS RESPONSE FROM THIS HOMEOWNER PRIOR TO EVEN INSTALLING THE PROJECT and ONLY TRYING TO EDUCATE AND MAKE HIS PROJECT BETTER is NOT THE TYPE OF Situation we like to be in the middle of , Hence Declining our contract we have engaged in with this homeowner and also any work to Help Improve this installations current condition. Description of Work: Came out for an estimate for a paver padio, gave me a ridiculously high price per square foot $42 still I asked the representative to work up an estimate for me and let me know total cost. Never heard back

There was some miscommunication here especially on price. The charge was not $42.00 per sq. ft. but was $14.50 due to the stone that was being chosen. As for the proposal, our salesman had sent the proposal and drawing via email on Saturday June 8, 2013 We do request that customers notify our office if they do not receive their proposal within a few days in case emails are sent to spam. At Arrowhead we strive on customer service but also understand that we can not please everyone.

Description of Work: We had our brick driveway and walk cleaned, re-sanded with polymeric sand and sealed in the fall of 2011. By December 2011 it was noticed that the sand was literally washing out. This was reported to the owner at that time. We were told they would come back to reapply the polymeric sand in the spring. They did come back out and reapplied the sand in September 2012. Unfortunately the same thing is happening. We appreciate the fact the owner did in fact try to fix the problem, however there seems to be a problem with the manner the sand is applied, as was told to us by brick suppliers. We will be reapplying the polymeric sand ourselves come spring.

Good estimate and a fair price
Description of Work: Only received a quote. Representative was punctual, professional, responsive and friendly. He had great suggestions and provided a thorough estimate. Fair price near the lowest of the several quotes we got.
