+ -1 moreIt went amazingly well. J-Horn electrician was on the job when he said he would be. He was both courteous and professional. He studied what needed to be done, procured the items, and went about the task in the most efficient way. He had respect for me (the customer) even though I may have asked some dum questions. He cleaned up at the end of each day. We have had J-Horn Electric do work in the past and they are consistent in quality and cost/value relationship. I would recommend them for any job large or small.
Description of Work: We had additional lighting installed in bathroom, as well as in basement. Wiring done years ago was not done correctly.

+ -1 moreJ-Horn replaced the fuse box, brought all of our electrical up to code, and properly grounded the house. Spencer and his crew were professional, courteous, and efficient. When the work was completed, they left the areas that they worked in neat and clean. My husband and I were very happy with the work that was done. We would definitely recommend J-Horn and plan to use them for all of our future electrical needs.
Description of Work: A few years ago, we needed our fuse box replaced by circuit breakers.

+ -1 moreThey did a great job finding a way to tie in both the kitchen work and the new exterior piece at a reasonable cost. Always arrived promptly and explained what they were doing ahead of time. Top notch, would hire again.
Description of Work: I have had Spencer and his team at J-Horn Electric out to do two different jobs at our house. Our first was during a full kitchen gut/remodel where we needed to move some outlets, add outlets, GFCI, etc. They did a great job and hung our overhead microwave for us as well. The following year we added a screened-in porch and needed new electrical service out there (there was none). They also helped mount the TV mount onto the exterior wall for us.

Description of Work: I am a Realtor and had someone never get back to us on bids for a construction loan. I called Spencer at 7:30 PM on a Sunday and he was there at 8:00 Monday morning. We had a bid in hand that afternoon, and closed the deal that Tuesday. That was 4 years ago, and I have used them for all deals ever since! Their work is top quality.

+ -1 moreI had a circuit box installed, most of the labels are wrong. I had a dishwasher and garbage disposal line put in, and the wire for the disposal is too short. The place they put a new line through the roof led to a water leak.

+ -1 moreIt went well, although I really did not deal with them, my husband did. Just the fact they shot us a price and it came out less was nice. It wasn't more or anything. They had told us originally it was going to be like $420, but it turned out to be only $200. We thought they were professional.

Description of Work: Determined why four different switches that operate hallway lights were not always working; replaced the switch at fault; climbed into attic to determine why attic fan was malfunctioning; corrected thermostat and humidistat settings on the attic fan; located wiring for attic fan and installed an override on/off switch for that fan.
