Edge Pest Control and Mosquito Services

They were okay for the first 8 months but recently in the past 2 months nobody did any service to my house as seen from my outdoor cameras and I was still being charged for it. I blocked the payment for the second time and called customer service to cancel my account. They informed me I must pay the amount due before canceling even though they didn't do the service. I reluctantly paid and after they charged me the money they mentioned that they will transfer me to someone who can cancel my service. After waiting a couple minutes the person got back on the line saying they can't get in touch of the people who can cancel my service and they can't do it themselves even though they just charged me saying I have to pay before canceling. They said they will call me back in 24-48h where I can cancel then. Clearly this is a tactic to avoid people canceling by making them wait and sending them in a circle till they forget about it. What a scam of a service.

Initial experience (door to door salesman) went well, Purchased the house the December before and when I met the the salesman I was open to signing up for some sprays to handle spiders, mice, and other pests. I have an infant in the house, so the less annoyances the better. I asked the salesman how cancellation would work and he mentioned I can cancel anytime. With that in mind I signed up and had the house sprayed the following week. Service was quick and easy and people the employees were polite. Unfortunately in September/October two mice made it into our house. I contacted the Edge team. They had someone come over within 48hours and lay traps. The traps were poison and the mice still impacted us for weeks afterwards. Eventually I laid my own traps and killed the two mice... When I called to cancel the service since I still have spiders and "earwigs" like I did previously, I did not see the value in this service (especially for $125/tri-monthly). I was then connected to a call center and told it would $451 to cancel since I have 7 visits left or 21 months of services remaining. Alot can happen over that time and they even asked if I would like to transfer my account to a neighbors instead... I wouldn't recommend this to anybody. You are better off laying your own traps and spraying your own walls for $50 (if that) from home depot... Rip Off!

Service was useless. They put on the hard sell and locked me into a 1 year agreement (with 50% cancellation fee), came out a few times and set some very basic snaps traps which didn't work. Not a single mouse was caught by them -- I ended up placing more of my own traps and catching some. Finally gave up on them and had to pay a few hundred to get out of contract.

It went well. They came and checked the traps they had set previously and disposed of the mice. He did an inspection around the perimeter of the house.

The service man was very professional. He was very polite and friendly. He called ahead of time to let me know that he was coming, and when he arrived he explained everything he was going to do and what precautions I needed to be aware of. When he was done, he reviewed the work that was done. I’m very happy with the service. My lawn looked great last summer.

had high hopes to begin. first tech came out placed bait traps and set 2 rat traps in shed and put copper meshing in holes. second tech came out following week and said there is nothing she could do and put copper meshing in new holes and said i would need to replace shed. she didn't check traps (I know because I saw a dead mouse in one and it was still there after she left). 3rd tech showed up didn't pre- call i wanted to be home for him. i ran to the store and of course he showed up. couldnt wait 10 extra minutes for me to return. he checked bait traps and advised me about sealing my shed. (great). a week later recieved an e-mail and confirmed. but no tech showed up. and i still have a rat problem. what am i paying for???? thanks for nothing.

Very fine Technician was quick and courteous

Fast and efficient. Matt was thorough and informative. He answered questions I had about recent insect sighting and explained what he was doing. He was very professional and I’d actually prefer he’d be our permanent service rep.

In the beginning, everything was fine. Work was thorough and technicians were professional. But when it came time to renew, my mother and I tried negotiating, to see if they could lower the price. They gave a quote which we didn't accept but Edge went ahead in renewing us for another year of general extermination service -- in which they never sent in writing. When we disputed it in July, they sent a wav file, saying this was a copy of our agreement. Well, I asked if we could record our phone conversation via my phone and negotiated to be released from our agreement after the October service. Well, Edge returned again on December 21 to do another quarterly service. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and will do my best, via word of mouth, never to use their services.

Service went very very well. Smooth and easy. Tech was very polite, knowledgeable and by far some of the best customer service I’ve received. (REQUEST LEBRAUN AS YOUR TECH)

Services were going alright until 4 mo into lawncare when tech (who appeared rather young) apparently over-fertilized our lawn and did not mix contents of tank properly (so we were told after the fact). Within days, our green lawn had large patchy brown areas of dead grass! We called and they came out every 2 weeks for 4 treatments of Orbix (lawn revitalization) treatments which helped but our lawn is still with brown areas for >1mo and it's now October. They offered reduced cost service when season resumes in the Spring but we don't trust them for further care of our lawn. Especially not for >$100/treatment every 6 weeks.

We have been with them for a few years now and that says a lot! They are very responsive and want to hear from you so they best service your specific needs. They always give us a heads up before they come so we can let our dog out before they arrive and allow a few hours for the solution to dry before we take her out again.

Excellent! The young man who serviced us was efficient, thorough, polite, took suggestions, and answered questions. We were very pleased. It's the best pesticide work we've ever had. The continued cleanup has been great. The wide sprayer for the outside is great. It even reached up to the second floor windows. And the fact that the chemical used is safe around pets and children is reassuring....hopefully that's accurate. It certainly has made a difference in the number of spiders and ants we've had and this is only the second treatment.

Excellent service. We now have the 1 year contract and I feel very relieved. The technicians are very knowledgeable and helpful.

So far so good. Edge was here yesterday. I'm not seeing any ants today. Yey! Time will tell on the spiders outside.

I feel the service was horrible because they didn't do anything to get the mice out of my house. They put traps down with no bait on them so how are the traps going to kill the mice.

Edge is our regular pest control service. They were just at our home last week for the monthly service. Then this week some wasps built an underground nest in our front yard. A technician came back today and dug the nest out from under the sidewalk. No extra charge. I was stung three times yesterday, so the tech and I were a bit nervous!

Kwame, came out and did a tremendous job. He answered and addressed all my questions, set bait and regular traps. Inside and outside the house. He was very thorough and meticulous.

Performed exactly as described by salesman and on scheduled time.

Loved Nate! So friendly, helpful, and receptive! He understood my irrational fear of spiders and he made a point to pay special attention to the areas where they hunker down and breed. He was very personable and we felt especially comfortable with him. Incidentally, we have not had a single sighting of any unwanted critter since our initial service. We’ve previously had Orkin and Eco Shield provide pest control service and we still had activity after both visited. I would recommend Edge without hesitation.
