These people are personable and a pleasure to deal with, Spencer Savois (salesperson), William Harrison (project manager), and Jenny Sejda (office). I wish their customer service, punctuality, and responsiveness would be contagious to all other contractors. The crew was punctual and did a quality job removing the material and cleaning the premises prior to leaving. The area was cleaner when the crew departed than it was before they arrived. Pricing was very competitive, substantially less than my next lowest bid. Many of my contracting experiences have been dismal. However, this contract went very well, and I would highly recommend this company.

The guys who provided service were great. Helpful, kind and very professional. Jenny in the office was also fabulous. Always answered any questions or concerns I had. So very easy to work with. Excellent customer service!

Bluestone Environmental was awesome! They were comparable in price to other vendors but also provided an Angie's List discount. They scheduled as quickly as possible and kept us informed along the way. They provided a very detailed overview of what they would do, how long it would take (one day), and how much each item would cost and total cost. They arrived on time and even called as to not ring the wrong unit doorbell in the early morning. They were completely professional and the job was well done. I will use them again if I ever need similar services. Highly recommend!

Vince came as the supervisor, went through the details with me, and he and his colleague did a very professional job. He wasn't fazed by three cats who tried to help him out! At first, he wasn't sure if it was possible to do the work, but kept me informed about things, and it turned out that he could. I recommend his work thoroughly.

Wow. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the work they did. We had a few concerns afterward and they sent another crew out at their own expense and took care of everything we asked about and more! It seems like most companies on AngiesList have an A rating, but Bluestone definitely earned this one. They are honest and willing to finish the job right. Highly recommended!

Bluestone was fantastic. They were punctual (even early) and they were in and out with the sample in less than 15 minutes. I received my test results a few days later as promised. And no asbestos! Overall, excellent service.

I was promptly contacted to schedule the appointment for the estimate on the work needed (which included the permit, materials and disposal). They were on time and very professional; explained everything thoroughly. The date of removal went very smoothly (they showed up earlier than scheduled) and the company contracted to test air quality post removal also did a great job (there was a separate fee of $400 for that). I think that the cost was reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Bluestone came highly recommended, and they lived up to their excellent reputation. From the responsiveness of the office staff (most often, Jenny, but all were great) to the care and thoroughness shown by the foreman William, to the great work of the team - this company was top notch from start to finish. Spencer, the owner, was also available, responsive and incredibly helpful. This type of work is stressful, and these guys were totally pro every inch of the way. Couldn't be happier and recommend them 100%.

When we were purchasing a new house, the inspector noted that vermiculite was used to insulate the attic, and that it often contains asbestos. We initially called bluestone just to help us understand what that meant, and they were so helpful that we ended up using them for abatement purposes. They were able to accurately estimate the amount of time it would take to complete the job, and were very thorough and professional in their process. They were all very friendly and a pleasure to work with. They took care of all the legal work with dealing with materials that may contain asbestos, including all the required permitting. I would highly recommend them to anyone who need asbestos abatement.

We left our window ac on during a 2-week vacation and came back to a flooded bedroom. The entire area underneath the window was soaking wet and our hardwood floor was warped! We knew there would be a problem with mold and since it was our bedroom, we wanted it done right. We called Bluestone and Spener came out. We used them before in 2012 of asbestos removal. Spencer is thorough and explains everything. The work was done on time and without any mess. A tent was set up in the room with air being forced out of the window to create a negative airflow. Very professional. All of the debris were sealed in bags and taken away. We were very pleased.

Bluestone was fantastic throughout. Their account managers were very professional and helpful when I called to set up an appointment. Their estimator, Ron Miller, was outstanding in the thoroughness of his appraisal of the situation, as well as our options (we had had another company out, and Ron was far better to work with in terms of his ability to answer questions honestly in terms of costs, exposure risks, options and timing). His communication was outstanding in follow-up as well, both in terms of the speed of his quote, and then responding to my questions afterwards. After I decided to move forward with Bluestone, they were able to find a date to complete the work within a couple weeks. And when I decided to make a change to the order a few days before, they were able to accommodate easily -- even though the change was a difficult one to do without looking at the issue on site. They did not even add extra to the quote for this change, which I greatly appreciated. The crew, led by foreman William Harrison, arrived right at the appointment start time (7am) and got to work quickly doing prep. Before starting, they showed me the plastic "seal" they had built to contain the area in the basement. Following prep, the work went smoothly and they were finished in about 2 hours, start to finish. After they left, I noticed that there was one area (related to my last-minute order change) that was not quite completed in the way I'd hoped. I called the office, and they were able to send William and his team back immediately to fix. During his stop, William even went above and beyond, encapsulating a couple of small areas that had not even been part of the quote. Overall, I was thrilled with the service. Bluestone turned a generally unpleasant experience (removing asbestos) into a genuinely good one. Hard to do!

It went very smoothly from start to finish. The gentleman arrived at the time promised, was very professional and let me know every step of the project. He finished in about two hours, contacted the air quality control company and the project was finished in about 3 hours. I would definitely recommend Bluestone to any one who needs this kind of work done. Also my contact at Bluestone, Jenny, was so very helpful. Since I have never had this done she made me feel at ease with any questions or concerns that I might have.

I thought that they're timely. They came in at their budget. The place was immaculate when they left. I was very pleased with their performance. I was very satisfied. I would use them again.

Employees dressed in moon suits sealed the basement with plastic sheeting and spent the day unwrapping the insulation from around the steam-heating pipes and sealing it in containers so it could be taken to a certified disposal site. All debris and dust was vacuumed up, and a subcontracted inspection firm then verified that the removal had been completed properly. | |Everything about this job was conducted in a thoroughly professional manner. The company representative who responded to our inquiry inspected the premises carefully, explained what work needed to be done and how it would be performed, and quoted a time line and a price which seemed reasonable. On the appointed day the work crew showed up at the promised time and went straight to work, completing their assignment on the schedule quoted by the company rep and leaving the premises neat and clean. The provider was very courteous and easy to work with. They showed up on time, did a thorough inspection and were able to arrange for me to have lab results within 24 hours of taking the sample.

We hired them after finding them on Angie’s List and they did a very good job. They had the best price and were extremely reasonable. They were able to complete the job in about half of a day. They were extremely, knowledgeable, and did not use any scare tactics. I did not know much about this type of service and I felt that they could have easily scared me into needing more work but they did not. They were great all around.

The work plan was clearly explained, the written agreement was clear, and the owner and staff answered my questions promptly. They were able to schedule this work fairly quickly and arrived right on time. Any minor problems that came up were taken care of by Bluestone and the overall work appears well-done and thorough.

It went very smooth. They were both very personable nice guys. They took their work very seriously, had a lot of knowledge and worked very hard. I think they went out of their way to be helpful. And Spencer was very thorough about the testing. He looked in my attic and my basement and tested my linoleneum. I really felt that I was in good hands. I asked a man who is now retired and did asbestos removal for a living regarding the price and he said it was average. So that was good to know. Because most people have no idea. I was just pleased with the work. And the asbestos worried me because my house is very old.

It went great. I felt completely secure that they don't just automatically "find" asbestos to create work. The large areas of concern came back negative, as did many of the other samples. We then hired them to come back and remove the asbestos flooring that had come back positive. The work was charged at the quoted price. The crew even took an extra piece of flooring that they did not have to. Both crews were friendly, on-time, and absolutely professional. I couldn't ask for anything more. We will hire them for other work in the future.

They were good. They were prompt and efficient. I have never had it done before but I would say that the price was reasonable. They came right when they said they would and they were very professional.

Ron was incredible explaining everything, answering all our questions, providing information we didn't even know that all home owners should KNOW; and gave us the best information possible, putting us at ease, that we didn't have a major problem. The small areas of mold we have, are only SURFACE mold which we have been addressing. Major services were not provided. We simply have to continue cleaning the surface mold as we have been when we spot something, reduce the amount of moisture in the house, and keep doing what we are doing. As a result, we found a new item at Lowes or Home Depot called Damprid or Riddamp, and it's incredible. We hang them up in the closets, and hallway, and most of the excess moisture is gone. We also lowered the level on our humidifier attached to the furnace. Ron Miller and Bluestone, gave us peace of mind, knowledge, and potentially saved us a lot of money, a less honest company might not have. Thank you Bluestone, Ron Miller and Angie's List. Crew arrived on time and walked me through the day's agenda. They managed my anxiety on asbestos very well, as they answered every question professionally. Spencer was a great help from start to finish.
