They were very thorough in coordinating the work, two phone calls one to schedule and one to remind us of the appointment. They told me proposed costs over the phone. The costs were based on the quantity of samples. The technician arrived on time and walked us through each option for testing and what other options we had were. I would recommend Bluestone to anyone looking to have tiles or other materials tested due to their professionalism.

They had IT issues when I first contacted them, but when they were able to schedule an estimate, they were still quicker than other providers. Everyone was very professional and punctual and the work required was completed on time.

Description of Work: I had Bluestone come to my house to test a few samples for asbestos. Spencer was punctual and courteous. He answered my many questions about the process. I got my test results a day before he said I would. All in all, I was very happy.

Description of Work: A tech was very responsive and answered my questions after a very popular flooring installer pulled up flooring and thought that the tile below could have asbestos (the age of the house should have been an indicator!). Thanks to Angie's List - I selected this company and their professionalism, response and willingness to answer my questions was totally appreciated! Description of Work: We had Bluestone come out to check our kitchen flooring for asbestos before we remove it for a kitchen remodel we're doing. Given the age of our home, we knew there could potentially be asbestos tiles or mastic under the existing tile, so we wanted to be sure. The gentleman from Bluestone came out to take samples, but was able to look at the cross section of our floor by the floor vent and was able to visibly confirm there was no asbestos flooring underneath, just some wood underlayment. Since he didn't have to take any samples for analysis, there was no fee and we can proceed with our remodel. The gentleman that came out was highly knowledgeable and professional.
