I also had a very bad experience with this company. I contacted them in June asking for sealcoating. They came out two weeks later to give an estimate. I signed the estimate and sent it back. They had written in small letters on the bottom 2019. I called them in August asking why they had not set up an appointment and they told me that they were not planning to come out until 2019. I was flexible on timing, but asking us to wait a year is unreasonable. Next, I called them and both Kim (the owner) and Sue were very rude over the phone. I can't comment on their quality, but if you work with them, expect to be strung along for days and rude treatment.

The work itself was done well. However, when the driveway was replaced, the company damaged my garage door. It has a dent, with tar and blacktop embedded in the door from their machine. Not only did they not notify me when they did the damage (I was at work), they will not call me or come over to discuss the damage, and how they will repair it. This company is refusing to take any responsibility for this damage, claiming there is no way they could have done it. Unfortunately, this company was picked by my Homeowners Assocation; I never would have chosen a company that does not have a BBB rating.

They were very good and on time

Exceptionally well, from the first contact phone call to the finished product. They were quick to respond, always returned calls in a timely manner and did the job when they said they would. The driveway is beautiful and they cleaned up before leaving the job site. I will use them in the future and will definitely recommond they to family and friends!

I mailed my contract back to them asking for my driveway to be seal coated in May or June,they called on May 9th to tell me they would do the job the next morning,they came the next morning and did a excellent job.

The service went very well. The owner is very nice and takes great pride in the work her company does. She is very informative.

Sealcoating job is good. The cold patch did not completely cover the area. I still have holes where water leaks. I called the office after the job and asked for someone to come out and fix the patch job. I never heard from them again. Don't expect any follow up to problems!

Kim is an active participant in her company. She returned our call promptly and provided a written estimate/contract within a week. We were informed that they would schedule the job and would notify us of the date of the service. Kim notified us the night before the work was to be done and told us that we didn't need to be home. The next day, while we were out, the work was accomplished and the invoice was left in the door. Blackout did a very nice job. We have some pitting from over application by a different company. Kim did not take advantage and try to sell us a new driveway. She said our driveway was in good shape, but did not look so great because of the extra thick layers of coating that had been misapplied by the previous company. I VERY much appreciated her ethics and integrity. I'll be using her company every two year for my sealcoating.

Blackout was responsive in returning my call and scheduled service within the week. The team that performed the work arrived when scheduled, took great care preparing the driveway and edges and overall it looks fantastic. We've had multiple compliments from neighbors.

What a great company to have every year! They called to set up the appt., was prompt and the work was excellent! The workers were friendly, efficient, and the driveway looked great! The owner came to my door as she does each year to see if I was satisfied or if there were any issues. She makes the effort to know her customers, not just take a check and good-bye! I am very happy with this company, and plan to stay with their service!

They do a great job! The preparation is really well done. The actual sealcoat is complete and extremely neat. I took the quality of their work for granted until, through an odd circumstance, I had another company do the sealcoating last year. There was no comparison in the quality of the work and the quality of the sealcoat material. Blackout's sealcoat always lasted through brutal winters and hot summers. My sealcoating from last year did not last through the year.

Absolutley pleasant experience dealing with them. Professional, responsive, polite. The even came back out to redo my driveway after it rained, without me asking them to. Fantastic job!!! Highly recommended!!!

BLACKOUT IS REASONABLE IN PRICE, THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK IS BETTER THAN ANY I HAVE HAD IN THE PAST. THEY ARE A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. THEY HAVE SEALCOATED MY DRIVEWAY FOR 2 YEARS NOW. THIS YEAR THEY OFFERED A $10 DISCOUNT FOR MY JOB WITH A COUPON I FOUND IN A LOCAL FLYER.
