AMERICAN SALE

This is a company that will treat you well when they are selling to you, and treat you with total disdain afterward. The service team repeatedly messed up the installation of the tub they sold us. They didn't ship the tub with all of the parts. Then their negligence led to the tub freezing during a storm, which broke multiple parts inside of the tub and led to leaking. Then, they decided they were no longer willing to help us repair the mistakes they caused. I was forced to bring in an outside vendor and spend $2,800 to repair all the damage that American Sale had caused. (That outside vendor confirmed all this damage was totally preventable had American Sale done their job.) It took four months from the installation until I was finally able to use the tub. I contacted American Sale and asked them to reimburse me for the damage they caused, they responded "we feel that we have handled all your requests and communicated very effectively."

THE POOL IS FINE, BUT THE INSTALLATION AND WORKMANSHIP IS WHAT WE HAVE A PROBLEM WITH. THE INSTALLATION COMPANY INSTALLED THE POOL IMPROPERLY: THEY DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH SAND UNDERNEATH THE POOL FOR LEVELING AND THIS WAS THEIR FIRST TIME INSTALLING A POOL LIKE THE ONE WE HAD. AMERICAN POOL SALES WAS CALLED AGAIN AND THE INSTALLER WAS CALLED BACK AGAIN. THERE WERE LARGE HOLES IN THE BOTTOM OF THE POOL FROM THE EARTH SETTLING. HE CAME OUT, SAID IT WAS REPAIRED, AND WE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE FLOOR OF THE POOL, AND WE NOW HAVE DENTS IN OUR POOL FROM THEM SUPPOSEDLY FIXING IT AND THE WALL IS NOW BUCKLING OUT. I WOULD SUGGEST TO ANYONE TO MAKE SURE WHEN YOU DEAL WITH AMERICAN SALES YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW MUCH SAND WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE INSTALLATION OF YOUR POOL BECAUSE THIS INSTALLER THAT WORKED FOR AMERICAN POOL SALE DID NOT HAVE A CLUE.
