On time, courteous, removed shoes due to snowy weather, explained system, in and out in under 2 hours. Had to reschedule from an earlier cancelation due to a sick employee but they accommodated with a Saturday appointment.

Unfortunately the day they were scheduled to come, they contacted me to let me know something came up and they would have to do it the next day. Also the installer didn't speak much English so asking questions about maintenance were a little lost. They did install exactly what I requested and had all the tools and materials needed to get it done quickly (extra PVC piping, some copper piping, etc). They were also really inexpensive, so that was great.

Went great, performed as requested as far as I can tell so far.

We purchased the $299 big deal for home humidifier installed. Scheduling was easy. The day of installation the company called to see if they could come by earlier, but that didn't work with my schedule. 2 workers arrived on time and were professional. They did have to leave to purchase part to hook up the water supply, were back in 20 mins and got the job done in a timely manner. They went over how to adjust humidity levels, close damper in summer months (when furnace is not running) and how to change the pad once a year. Since it was just installed, I can't speak yet on performance of the unit yet.

We liked the price and the interaction was great. The worked turned out fine.

After researching a few providers and getting quotes to have a new humidifier installed to replace our current broken Aprilaire unit, we decided to try using the Angie's List coupon as the price was about 1/2 the quotes we were getting. 24 was very responsive in getting us scheduled and were able to come out the next day. The only small issue in scheduling was that we scheduled an appointment for noon, but the installer actually showed up about 2 hours early. Fortunately someone was home to let him to begin work, however had they wanted to start earlier we would have preferred they call us and ask first. Had no one been home until noon they would have been sitting outside waiting for two hours. It's their business I guess, but it seems strange. The installer was professional and completed the work quickly with no issues.

They were very well priced and they did all the work to verify that they main board was still under warranty. The service was outstanding and the technician was professional. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

I purchased this humidifier and installation through an Angie's List Big Deal after calling the office and speaking with Bonnie. She was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I appreciated the time and care she took to answer my questions. I wasn't sure if American Standard was a reputable brand. Many of the other companies insisted that Aprilaire was the industry standard, but it was also much more expensive. Bonnie assured me that American Standard humidifiers do pretty much the same thing without the name (and the added cost) of Aprilaire. A few other companies I called in my research confirmed this, and there were a lot of good reviews for 24 Heating and Cooling here on Angie's List. So I decided to go ahead and make the purchase. The installation was scheduled, and John arrived on time and got right to work. He was friendly and thorough. The installation took a little over two hours, and he carefully explained the humidifier once he finished (e.g., how to change the pad, how to adjust the settings on the control dial, etc.). Almost two weeks later we have definitely noticed a difference. Simply put: if you're in the market for a new humidifier in this dry Chicago winter conditions, this has to be one of the best deals available on Angie's List right now. You get an outstanding product and customer service at an unbeatable price. My guess is they're very busy right now, so you may have to wait a bit for your installation (we waited about a week). But it will be well worth it. Thank you, Bonnie and John, for tremendously positive experience. I will definitely be calling about 24 Heating and Cooling again in the future.

Communication was great throughout the process. I inquired about the deal and spoke to Sam directly. He was very informative and responsive. Once I purchased the deal Sam called me back to setup an appointment. On the day of the appointment I was notified that they were in route. Installation took a couple of hours. The service tech was extremely nice and knowledgeable. A+ all the way. I would recommend to to others.

John, the installer for 24 Heating/Cooling, called ahead of our appoint, showed on time, was professional and courteous. I will be recommending 24 Heating/Cooling to family and friends. The price of $299, installed, is about 60% less then anyone else advertised. I honestly don't know how 24 Heating/Cooling is even turning a profit, but they have earned me as a customer now and in the future.

HVAC professional arrived on time. Very considerate of my home. Explained in detail how the humidifier would work with the central heating system. Very detailed. Installation went well. Tim did a through inspection of our heating system. He showed up on time and checked all the parts of our system. Tim was very nice and explained everything he did.

I chose 3 target repair windows per 24 HVAC's instructions. They were to notify me ahead of time which time would work, I did not hear back by 9PM the night before the first window, so I called to get clarificatoin, apparently reaching someone at home. I was told to expect a tech Monday AM. On Monday I got a call to please reschedule due to an employee illness. So Tuesday at 1:30 was next time. I'm off work recovering from an injury so I could comply. Tuesday AM 24 called to ask if they could come early. I said OK to 12 Noon. At 12:15 the techs arrived and got to work with the drain and check, They cleared blockage, checked equipment and were done. There was, however, a misunderstanding about using the inspection as diagnostic work that involved some extra charge. It was reasonable if I had understood what the fellow on the phone expected (English is second language), I spoke with Bonnie in their office and easily resolved. She's very personable and nice to deal with. Thanks. My family likes dealing with honest family businesses. We get a good sense of fairness and honesty from 24 Heating and Cooling and will use them again!

Tim serviced our air conditioner! He went above and beyond our expectations. He explained what he was doing and told us how to maintain the unit. He found an issue with the air handler and fixed it. Tim was very professional and courteous. We will use 24 heating for all our Heating and A/C service in the future.

I bought an Angie's list deal which asked for my preferred dates/times of service and indicated that I would be contacted on or before 6/2/14. No one contacted me. I contacted company on 6/3/14 and they made an appointment that afternoon, but didn't show up. When I contacted them wondering when they were going to turn up, they said they had called me, but hadn't (they were dialing the wrong phone number). I got irritated and the woman from 24 Heating and Cooling got very snippy with me. In the end, after arriving over an hour later than anticipated, the technician was great and was able to replace the part right away. He was thorough and polite. I would use their service again, as the tech was helpful and professional.

He came out on a Saturday morning, at 10 AM, as promised. I have never, repeat never, had a person explain to me what we needed and what he had to offer as well as Jerry did. He had brochures with important information, facts and figures at his command, and a profoundly deep knowledge of the heating and AC trade. He spent 2&1/2 hours with us, and every minute was a source of good information for us. We ended up signing a work sheet for the system to be installed on 6/13. The price was very competitive and the choice of products was very extensive. The explanation of how the installation will be done left me assured that this company is concerned with doing a reputable and top-notch installation. This is really the most important factor when installing a heating and cooling service. We had considered another company but, after reading your reviews and talking with someone in the trade realized that cutting the price "to the bone" will not guarantee that you are getting the best deal. Remember the old saying: "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!" If you can manage to save some small amount and, in return, get a lousy installation, will you really have gotten a good deal????? I don't think so. In any case, I got a high quality, energy efficient system that qualifies me for almost a $1000 rebate, information on all aspects of the operation, and now I am anticipating the upcoming installation. By the way, Bonnie, who works in the office, is also a very knowledgeable person. Not just a reception girl who knows how to make an appointment. In summation, Bonnie and Jerry are two great people who are really a pleasure to deal with. Talk to them. You will not go wrong.
