He was called in by a different plumbing service. Instead of being able to open up the line. He wanted to block all the sewer outlets in my basement making the bathroom and laundry area unusable. Call in a plumber friend of his to run new overhead lines in the basement for just the upstairs. Then he wanted to dig a new sewer line in my backyard diagonally across the yard and out to the main. Of course, if he hit rock the price of the job would go up. And for some unknown reason he wouldn't use the line that had been there for years. I told him that the wire from the house to the garage was buried in the backyard and he said if that was cut, I'd have to hire an electrician to repair that. I told him to leave, and called another sewer company. That guy had the line opened up in 15 minutes. No digging was needed. Mr. Eubanks really likes his backhoe. There was no need to dig up my yard or block off any of the lines inside my house. It just took calling the right company that knew what they were doing, and that wasn't Eubanks. He has since torn up the yard of a neighbor after they had a problem.
Description of Work: The sewer line was completely clogged.

Not the cheapest option. Did a good job at what they do. Tried to diagnose a problem with a sewer back-up. They wanted to tear up our yard when we didn't even know what the problem was. Their price was fine for that work, I just didn't want to spend the money if we didn't need to. It turns out after putting a clean out in alone, the problem was on the city end anyway. Glad I didn't tear up my yard.
