When the crew left my home - found the aerator in the bathroom sink had been removed and put back on - not all the way! As soon as I turned the faucet on - water sprayed everywhere. This also makes me question what type of cleaning solvent this company uses if their water source is my bathroom sink. The guys were very friendly - I believe they are working with completely inferior equipment and methods. The carpet was far too wet when they finished. I pulled out more water than they did with my little Bissell home carpet cleaner. This is absolutely the worst job I've ever paid for - regardless of their large advertising budget, I will never use this company again. I'm sorry Fox Valley Carpet Cleaning - I'll never fall for the "lower price" again. I only hope the carpet is dry by Thanksgiving. What a DISAPOINTMENT!!! As for the up charges - deodorizing and protection - I'm not certain which one they did not do. Prior to leaving, one of the crew walked around with a spray bottle squirting it on the carpet. I'm assuming that's the deodorizer. I don't know how they could apply any protection since they were never connected to anything other than the powder room faucet. The spots that were in the carpet are still there. I really believe nothing except cold tap water was applied to my carpet. That's not cleaning - it only made a mess of water that I'm still vacuuming out of the carpet. I'm certain they did not provide what I paid for and I feel that I paid far too much. Bottom line - the commercials are deceptive, the pricing in not what they quote, and the cleaning process is nothing less than inferior. I would never recommend this company nor will I ever use them again.
