Window cleaning was ok....not impressed

Is this company out of business but didn't tell anyone? I contacted several companies with good ratings on Angie's List and Smudge is the only company that has not responded. I emailed them on 9/11 then left a voicemail on 9/12. Nothing. At least a courtesy call back would have been appropriate. I have found another company.

The team probably spent more time than anticipated to do the pressure washing due to the waste on my white vinyl siding left by spiders. However, they went above and beyond in effort to return it to an almost new state. In addition, they courteously endured our pointing out "missed spots" on our windows until they met our high standards.

Once we finally were able to get together for a quote, and once we were able to schedule a firm date, it was great! I was under a high stress situation, but Javis come through for me and did a wonderful job with his crew. He showed up on time to do the job and everyone worked straight through until it was finished. Everything was super clean. I am especially glad I decided to have the windows cleaned. They cleaned them inside and out and did all the surrounding trim and crevices. Really, really nice. It gave my house great curb appeal before it went on the market.

I spoke with Jay on the phone initially, and we agreed to talk again to arrange a meeting. Jay did not contact me in order to arrange the meeting to inspect the home. This, despite the fact that I repeatedly phoned him and texted him. This was irresponsible of him.

They did a great job! At first they had a problem with their machine which he appologized for and had to come back with another machine to complete the job. He came back the next day with amother machine and completed the job! Very professional and committed! Looked great! Thanks! LP

They called back with an estimate over the phone. The estimate was lower than the other three providers I checked out. They were late for the appointment but did a good job. They were able to get the green stains off the north side of the house. I would call them again.

We struggled to get the date scheduled, but everything went as we'd hoped.

I made the appt. for Friday afternoon but due to weather, we had to reschedule. I was told someone would be at my home between 9:30-10am. Corey arrived shortly after 10am. Nice guy, friendly. He did a great job. He was able to clean concrete with years worth of mold. He also cleaned a little extra for us which was appreciated.

I took advantage of one of the BigDeals listed through Angie's List - offering a Pressure Wash for a home exterior for $199.99. I installed my current siding approx. 10 years ago and have never had it pressure-washed. My request for service was returned quickly and it was scheduled for the cleaning today. The two-man crew showed up on time and were polite and efficient. Corey introduced himself and asked if I had any questions and we took a tour around the house so I could point out my areas of greatest concern. He was quick to point out an area where some bees were flying in and out of my siding. I had not even realized that bees were nesting there but he assured me that they could still get the job done. The crew performed a thorough cleaning and pointed out another area that would need my attention where a drainage by a basement entrance appeared to be clogged - letting me know it could cause future problems. I was very pleased with their attention to detail and would not hesitate to hire them again.

They did an excellent job! We moved into our home last year, and noticed that our composite deck was quite dirty. We ran out of time to have it cleaned then, so you can only imagine how dirty it was this year! Somehow, Smudge Free managed to get my deck looking brand new! They are extremely nice, professional, and quite reasonable with their fees. I WILL use them again.

They did alright. It was just the spray on product I really wasn't happy on the way they performed. They should probably do the traditional car washing and cleaning windows. They were nice enough, professional and finished their work in a timely manner. I would probably use a different company, a different product or a different chemical.

I was very pleased with the outcome of the job. My house had not been done in 13 years and had some really bad spots. The job done was just fantastic. I went out the front door to the porch that was very grungy and it was bright, clean and the color of the house came back like when we first moved in. The other thing that I liked is the advice given on a couple of items that need some additional work. I was given a store to go to and advised what to ask for from the clerk. All I can say is I wish I had done this years ago. I know I will not be waiting nearly as long for the next washing.

They were prompt and worked hard. The house is aluminum siding, and it may have been unrealistic of me to expect it to be absolutely clear.

He did a good job. I was hoping for a better clean. I didn't want him to use the chemicals. He cleaned it with water and it was OK.

Overall, Smudge Free Windows and Cleaning did a great job! They were able to complete the majority of the items I asked them to do. The windows were cleaned exceptionally well. The floors were moped, kitchen was scrubbed down, kitchen appliance were thoroughly cleaned, and the walls and baseboards were cleaned. The bathrooms were cleaned very well, with tubs and toilets scrubbed clean, floors mopped, and sinks/countertops/and mirrors cleaned. The bedrooms were cleaned, ceiling fans dusted, and carpets were vacuumed and shampooed. The carpet shampooing was done well and they were successful at cleaning some of the dirt that had accumulated over the past year. The garage was swept clean, and the basement floor was cleaned. They also cleaned the windows in my gazebo outside and cleaned the floor around my hot tub. Overall, they did a great job. Due to cold weather, they were unable to power wash the garage, which may have helped make it cleaner, and unfortunately some of the stains were not able to be removed from the basement, but they were successful at removing some of the stains and at least lessening some of the more difficult stains. While the price was on the higher end of what I had hoped for, they did an exceptional job and earned it. I had received another quote that was for less, but the company would not do half of what I had asked Smudge Free Cleaning to do. When Jay came out to provide an estimate, he was very thorough and clearly explained all of the services they would perform. Throughout the process Jay and his team were very professional. They had a team of six people working for approximately 7 hours. They were on-time, thorough, and left the house in great shape without causing any damage to any of my furniture or personal effects. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

They did a good job. They were very nice and friendly. I purchased a deal through Angies List so it was a good price, I don't know if I would pay full price since my siding was not very dirty, I just wanted to freshen it up.
