Mike is such a great guy. He first discussed over the phone what the problem is to figure out what needs to be done. Jeff came out in the morning today and replaced the igniter switch in 15 minutes. Very knowledgeable and courteous. This company is honest and takes pride in their work and handles their customers with great respect.

We purchased a new central air conditioner and a 2-stage furnace. In addition, they needed to update the air circulation to and from the system, which was nicely done. Needed a little tweaking, and one of the owners came out to perform the simple task himself.

The first crew grabbed a board out of their truck and installed it. They had left with out testing it. Later that night our furnace still didn't work. So Steve came out himself and identified they had installed the wrong board. He had to special order our board and didn't charge anything in addition to the first visit. He said these guys should have known better, but did state to us the boards were almost identical except for the amps. Ours needed slightly higher amps. Steve was great and kept apologizing for the mix up. Honest mistake by his guys. You can't beat the customer service this company gives. You can tell they are passionate about their job and take pride in it. Would definitely hire them again.

Steve was awesome. Professional, knowledgeable and timely. His cost was fair and I would recommend highly. I spoke with 3 other Heating/AC providers, including some of the "big names" in Chicagoland and between Steve himself and the American Standard name, I was sold and love our new unit.

Home comfort systems is always professional and on-time. We use them every year to check and clean our furnace. Their pricing for the service is always the lowest since they give Angie's List members a coupon discount. The service techs are courteous and very knowledgeable. Also, they don't try to sell me a furnace or other parts to make more business. When I need a furnace, I will give them a call.

It works exactly as Steve said it would! We had a little trouble with the airflow being too strong and noisy, but they came out the very next morning and fixed it. We are delighted that we can set each zone at the temperature we want, and it stays there. The upstairs is just as cool as the first floor - and even cooler if we want it that way. I enthusiastically recommend the system and the company.

2 people came to complete the project. It took probably 6 hours to complete. They left the inside clean, outside was not left clean.

I got 4 separate quotes and Home Comfort Systems was below all of them. Steve recommended that we go with a smaller sized air conditioner unit. I was skeptical, but it was the correct decision. Our home is much more comfortable due to the lower humidity levels. The installation crew was courteous and showed up right on time. After the install was completed we noticed some noise coming from the condensation line. I called Steve and the next day his service crew arrived to add a small vent to the line and problem was solved. I was impressed how quickly they responded to my concerns. I would recommend them to anyone considering replacing or repairing an air conditioner unit or furnace. Great pricing, responsive, and excellent service.

Everything went pretty smoothly. They weren't the cheapest but after reading all the reviews on Angie's List, I figured to pay a little extra for peace of mind.

This was our first time dealing with Home Comfort Systems. Steve came over to our house to look around at what we had and asked several questions before he gave a recommendation for the furnace and A/C. Steve takes great pride in what he does. Al did a great job installing the furnace and A/C. It is so comfortable in the house now with the new system. It was great dealing with someone who treats you like a person and not a dollar. On time. Cleaned up after themselves. Fixed my filter system on my furnace so now I can place it in without difficultly. After the work was completed noted the A/C was not working. Steve came out and found out it was not connected .also noted the vents were not opening correctly ordered parts and installed.now the up stairs and downstairs have even temperate. Its a great system.

Very happy. This AC unit is old and I intend to contract this company to replace the unit with a 'new' one.

The owner Steve met with me for a free estimate. He was professional, punctual, and well prepared to answer any questions I had. He provided a folder of info about the company and products used. He was very flexible with financing options. Installation day went smoothly and was finished in less time than expected. Steve stopped in at the beginning of install to check on things. Installer was respectful to property and cleaned up after himself.

Steve and his team are very professional and get the job done in a timely fashion. We had three quotes on a new HVAC system and his was by far the lowest. They were wonderful to deal with and would hire them again without question.

This is the way to run a business. Steve is an outstanding businessman with tons of knowledge. He did not try to sell us everything extra or anything we did not need. Craftsmanship was top notch. Al walked us through his work afterwards to show us everything he did and to make sure things were to our liking and that his work area was clean.

They did a neat job. Work was done faster than expected. They did not leave any messes.

During the call to make an appointment, I was asked specific questions concerning the issue. I was told that there was a possibility that I could fix the situation myself. The workman was prompt and courteous. On examination, the workman discovered that it was a simple fix which he performed for no charge. He recommended a cleaning but said it didn't make sense to do it until the furnace was going to be turned on as dust would be accumulating over the summer. A completely positive experience.

I was pretty sure that I was going with another company until Steve arrived for an estimate. His knowledge sold me! Their price was comparable with the other company, but I felt that Steve really knew his stuff and that was important to me. The installation went perfectly (I think they were even done early) and everything is working well. One small thing....my bifold doors weren't replaced correctly which resulted in a crack in my molding. Just a small thing to show this a REAL review! I 100% recommend this company. I trust their pricing and expertise.
